I like Vinissimus and have made many orders from you.
What I don't like is the experience that I had today from dhl.
I tried several times to track my delivery and the system would't recognise my order number. Today a note was put through my letterbox saying they had tried to deliver unsuccessfully and my parcel had been left at a dhs depot.
1st of all the buzzer at the entrance is loud and if it had been pressed I would have heard it. The delivery driver put a postcode on the card without an address. I went to the postcode where there was just houses. I then telephoned dhs and found that the postcode contained a j which looked like a u and the parcel was left at the shop Nisa. If the address had been put on the card I would have known straightaway where my parcel was.
So dhs employ a completely gormless driver who can't write clearly and I have to waste an hour of my time because of it.
If you used a competent delivery company like dpd this would not have happened.

It took a long time for the order to be delivered and at the end it has never been delivered. Yesterday I was notified by your courier DHL that my parcel was to be delivered yesterday 31st May 2023 between 16:26 and 17:26. So I stayed at home to receive it.
At 18:12 I was notified by DHL that the delivery had been made and received by me????!!!!
Never ever got the parcel and no one called at my door.
I immediately tried to contact DHL by phone but it was impossible and I sent an email explaining the problem.
Later I got a reply the they would investigate and let me know within 3 days!!!!!
So please since it is your courier try to pressure them to refund me immediately.

When ordering we were advised of a delivery date which was why we placed the order but it arrived 4 weeks after the expected delivery date. Not a great experience don't think we will be ordering again we found the same wine elsewhere that was delivered in a week even at Christmas time

Excellent wine selection, good communication
An excellent selection of wines and good communication from customer services when I had some queries about shipping on my first order.
Ordering a half case of one of my favourites, at a better price than my usual merchant, I added four unknown-to-me singles from their extensive selection. Regrettably one of those four was spoiled but one was very good and one was exceptional; I love adding new favourites! I've placed a new order to have stock of those two new discoveries.

Great Wine
This is one of our favourite white wines and as usual it was delivered on time.
However your delivery company DHL just left the wine on the door step even though we were in the house. They did not ring the bell, nor knock on the door. I only knew that it had been delivered when I receive an email stating that it had been accepted by me as 10.33am, which clearly it had not! This wine was fine although the box was open on one side.

More Info needed on dispatch
The Delivery/Product /Packaging was very good. It would have been reassuring to get a follow up email after purchasing to say... thanks for your order, we are working on it and expect to dispatch within a time frame, but when we ship your order we will let you know...etc....as I didn't hear anything for a few days and was left wondering if everything was ok..so I emailed to find out.....which it was ok.

Fabulous customer service!
I’d tried to put a payment through, and was asked to try a different payment method, which I did. When I looked at my bank account, both payments had gone through, although one was pending. I phoned and explained, and this was dealt with immediately (I didn’t even have to wait on hold when I phoned… amazing!). The wine came in good time, extremely well packaged. I’ll definitely come back!

I wasn't going to order and changed my mind.
After reading a few of the reviews like you do I didn't end up ordering. After a 2 weeks I thought why not, and I'm glad I did.
I did read a helpful review by someone stating that they are based in Spain, to avoid a long waiting time order the ones that say instant dispatch.
Long behold less than a week later I have my 6 bottles of Red.
Arrived with DHL. Will definitely be using again.

Quick delivery despite Brexit, but prices have become too high
The delivery was rather quick, particularly given the absurd obstacles provide by Brexit.
Although this time the substantial discount made the purchase worth it, generally the prices are too high, some times rather heftier than in Britain, which defeats the purpose of buying in Europe. Also your competitors have kept substantially lower and more attractive prices.

Very efficient ordering system & good email communication to confirm order, payment and expected delivery.
Final delivery was very poor. DHL claimed they could not find our address despite delivering here numerous times in the past. The driver was probably behind schedule on a Friday afternoon so couldn’t be bothered!

Customer service was excellent. I was asked to confirm if my two separate orders were intentional and this shows genuine concern about what the customer wants. I found the precise wine / year / producer I wanted and the pricing was very competitive. Finally, the packaging was first rate.

A wide selection of wines some which do not appear to be available elsewhere.
Some of these wines I have purchased before and am very pleased with the quality.
Ordering is very easy and since Vinissimus changed their delivery service the delivery is very good.

Good value and excellent service
Once again, purchasing from Vinissimus has been absolutely straightforward …. It’s very easy to order through the web site, and delivery tracking is now good - much improved from the early “post-Brexit” days. And, most importantly, they over an excellent range of wines at good value prices.
