Great to buy genuine Acer accessories

A great place to buy accessories for your Acer products. Yes there are cheaper 'alternatives' on eBay but if that cheap eBay PSU fries your laptop and invalidates your warranty you will wish you paid the extra for a genuine part..... (Based on an experience with an HP laptop many years ago) ... and NO I don't work for or have any incentive from Acer to say this. PS after 2 years I still love my AMD Acer laptop - it is well built and was the best value too.

Nothing at this time. The on line chat was great & very helpful. The email queries before hand were answered in a timely manner as would be expected by any efficient customer service team. Have been using an old ACER desktop for the past 15 years, still operating on Windows 7(!!!), it's only past few months that it's shown it's age & I require something more up to date, better with buffering & speedier for basic projects & letter writing, etc. This new one comes with a free AI thingy (!) not sure it's what I want or need but I shall take the opportunity to investigate & who knows. Fingers crossed all connects as advised & once security sorted (i've always used AVG with no issues so I'll continue), away I go. Thanks to the team for their time & help. For myself (as i'm nop computer boffin) it means alot as this has been quite a decision!

Great, but not good re price of new cable [see update below]

The online chat was disabled. However, I managed to find the info I needed elsewhere. I bought a laptop but it came without a power cable. [see update below!] The part was very expensive on your site (£49 as opposed to anywhere from £5 to £17) compared with parts on other sites, but I couldn't find the exact part I needed elsewhere so I feel forced to pay this extortionate amount. Update Edit: I need to apologise - the cable was in the packaging and I didn't find it until after I'd left the review. My apologies.

Highly Recommend ACER, Customer for over 10 years.

I have been an Acer customer for the past 10 years and highly recommend their products and service. That is why I decided to return to purchase my new Laptop as my old acer Aspire ES15 was no longer receiving Windows 10 security updates, otherwise I would still be using it as I am doing to post this recommendation. Buying a laptop is full of traps but....

Buying a laptop is full of traps. Simplifying options, even for an IT pro is always better. I chose from a a lsit of more expensive HP, more expensive Dell and Asus optins on Which! Price good. But the clincher was the acer support warranty and great help from the support assistant Nomfundo.

Laptop purchase

I wanted a laptop and saw one on a major retailer. I thought I’d check the ACER store itself and found there was a large selection. However there wasn’t as much help about what things were e.g 16 vs 32 gb ram. Maybe a glossary for the “less techy” ones amongst us would be helpful. Also the discount wasn’t clear whether it had already been applied or whether it would be applied. However the chat lady was very helpful with the discount problem.

Purchase of extended warranty was straightforward as sales support advised me to purchase it separately from the hardware, in order to benefit from best discount for a double purchase. I do not like being forced to make a text entry to your feedback survey for a simple purchase and may not rate Acer so well next time.

Easy to use website & great customer support when i rang

easy to find and filter product lists. customer service call was answered very quickly and was very helpful. Would be better to be able to compare more items at once to sift down for final purchase - I had 6 to compare. I found inconsistencies in specifications completed which made final decisions a little more difficult. filling in the blanks and ensuring consistent info for a product would make decisions a little easier

Another Ace form Acer!

When contacting yourselves, Chris got back in touch with me promptly and was able to advise me about the new laptop I have just ordered. It was troublesome trying to get this model through the usual sources, so I decided to go to you direct. My current and (2nd) Acer cannot support Windows 11. If Windows 12 is really going to happen, as stated by Which magazine, I will be looking for my 4th Acer directly from yourselves. You need not do anything better just remember, is it ain't broke, don't fix it!

It wasn't easy to find the right laptop to purchase, but I got there in the end. When comparing laptops, the information is not effectively grouped into their respective areas, but scattered throughout the specification. It would make it easier if everything related to Processing, Memory, Storage, Graphics, Wifi, etc. are grouped under their respective heading when doing comparisons.

The order process was easy but there were issues

The order process was easy, however, it came with issues. When I searched for a replacement power adapter, I searched using the S/N and the SNID, however, on the item page, it did not show the model number of my laptop (it only showed other series of laptops), therefore, it was impossible to confirm that it was the correct item. In addition, the specifications of the adapter were either not listed or were confusing (for instance, the pin size was not given, and the voltage and wattage of the adapter is different to the voltage and wattage listed on the bottom of the laptop). It would be easy to list these to ensure the buyer is buying the correct item and give some peace of mind. Other issues included the DHL tracking number not working once the order had been placed. Therefore, I had no idea there had been two attempted deliveries. However, complaints aside, the charger was a perfect replacement (not the same as the charger that had come with the laptop) and functions absolutely correctly, and due to safety issues with third party accessories, I always prefer to buy manufacturer supplied accessories. In this respect, the item was also well priced, probably cheaper than buying from any other laptop manufacturer (a similar adapter I purchased from Dell was six times the price of this one). It is great to see a manufacturer not taking advantage of their customers.

I already have a MS laptop from Acer and am relatively pleased with it. However my posture is starting to suffer and I am needing a desktop computer. I don't think I have had to get in touch with you about the laptop so I hope to continue with what I am hoping is good quality.
