I had been given compression socks by my GP surgery to help an open wound resulting from an incredibly serious bruise. I had been unable to wear them as they were far too long for my short legs but I got no help, was just told to wear them. I searched online for myself and came across Medi and socks of different lengths. The ones I ordered came in regular, short and extra short. I'm now wearing my new extra short in lilac, for the first time I have something that doesn't cut behind the knee and stop my blood flow. I can't help having short legs but felt punished and ignored by the professionals who dismissed my problem. People are not made in a factory in a standard mould! I had to wait more time for my 'special order' (wanted a happy colour) to arrive but I am thoroughly happy with the result. What a shame that I hadn't looked earlier, and that I was fobbed off by those who should have been helpful. I only ordered one pair, just in case they didn't work, but will be back to order more. I had looked elsewhere without success but I would definitely recommend medi.

Everything about my experience with medi was good from start to finish. The ordering page was very clear and easy to follow and once this was done the order confirmation arrived in my inbox very soon after. If ordering the spectacularly lovely colour items it takes a fair amount of time as these items are made to order, but this is all clearly explained when ordering and my goodness it is well worth the wait! When the garments arrive they are so beautifully boxed with clear instructions and if you order opened toed you get a little slipper which is a great help when putting the on.

A great product but over packaged.

A great product, an expensive product, packed in a cleverly engineered box within a box, with a quality produced booklet and product information in multiple languages BUT, all that aside, what proportion of the cost of the actual item / hoisery makes up the total price? One pair of below knee support socks is not an efficient use of tthe space available in the packaging. A quality item should be rightly valued and placed in packaging which matches the quality, but surely such investment could be tailored to be making the product more available to more people who are perhaps , currently unable to afford such beneficial products. Something to ponder!

First use of compression stockings.

After receiving my very first pair of duomed soft calf length open toe compression stockings from my hospital, I used the specification on the packaging to order a further two pairs direct from Medi. These arrived exactly as specified within a few days. They are comfortable to wear and I shall be ordering further pairs, dependent on my next review at the hospital in a few months time.

Very Reliable Website And Great Service Too

Best place to get the glue to keep my compression stockings up. Called "It Stays", the glue is usually very reliable although just occasionally it fauls and a stocking sage to my knee! Medi are very swift at despatch of orrders and I trust them, which makes them part of a quite small list of websites!

Good quality stockings

Products clearly described with detailed information on compression rating and sizing. Duomed soft are a very comfortable fit. Top gripper band on ong stockings is very secure without being tight. Arrived quickly. Nice quality smooth fabric but sand colour is a bit orange, too 'tanned' looking for me. Black will be good for the winter.

Excellent all round Service

I placed an order for some compression below knee stockings. They arrived well packaged and on time. My lymphoedema nurse gave me a set to try and they were an excellent fit and worked really well. Good clear instructions on how to care for them etc. and I wouldn’t dream of using any other make.

SUPPORT HOLD UP STOCKINGS

Very pleased with my support hold-up stockings, love the colour tone just wished I could get them in a larger size as the tops of my legs are a bit bulgy and the stockings can make the tops off my legs tight Also would like to know how to prevent the top of the stocking bands from rolling down, as they don't seem to be sticking to my legs now and I've only worn them several times. On the whole love my purchase,

I have a paralysed right leg and many years ago it was recommende d I wore compression stockings on it to help the swelling. I'm glad I took the advice as my leg is in good condition in spite of not being able to move it. I usually get the stockings through the doctor but they messed up the last order so I bought some myself. I have an unopened pack which I cannot return to the doctor so do you know of a charity who will accepted these still packaged unopened stockings?

Knowledgeable staff who answered my questions. My extra compression socks have arrived today. Like so many others have so commented, can you please make the Sand colour into a paler colour for summer, they are so much like horrid American Tan colour! I have no choice with the colours lour. Apart from that they are still an excellent product.

A great piece of equipment in the recovery of strength and pain reduction

I bought the wrist support for my sister in law who had fractured her wrist and who still suffered pain and swelling after the cast was removed. I had found the support beneficial when I suffered the same problem four years ago so I bought it for her when she complained of the ongoing issues. My sister in law remarked that she was very grateful for the gift and that it made a big difference to her recovery. Highly recommend.

Superior quality

I have been wearing Medi compression stockings for over twenty years now because I have suffer from DVTs. I have been wearing class 3 for most of those years but because of my frailty and ability to put the stocking on and find them too constricting and uncomfortable I now wear class 2 which are more comfortable and easier to put on. I also take blood thinners but still wear the stocking because of swelling. I have always found these stockings of a very good quality and hard wearing the only downside is that I only wear the stocking on my right leg but have to buy a pair and because I am now a pensioner find them expensive. Medi stockings are not free with a prescription so I was paying fifty pounds every three months which was fine when I was still in work. I did try other stockings but they were not as good quality as Medi. I was ordering the stockings direct from Medicare and I got to talk to one of there customer advice team who managed to get me a discount which has helped so I can buy two pairs at half the price which last me six months. To anyone who like myself who has to wear compression stocking I will say that you should always buy Medi because they are of superior quality than others

I have been looking for support knee high stocking for wider calf's a while after the company I used before closed down. These stocking are excellent as they are easy to put on, stay up and don't leave marks after wearing them. They are really comfortable.

Life changing results

This is the second one of these Achilles supports I have and I wear them every day, delivery was very very quick. The support does not wain it is excellant in fact its been lifechanging meaning I may not require surgery , the only issue iI have is the heel wears quick (4 months) maybe as I wear it all day every day, and may require stronger material in this area.

The srvice was prompt and efficient, The website easy to navigate. One very small niggle. My order of three items came in three separate deliveries over a three week week period. I would have preferred to have had one delivery (1 postage charge and less packaging) even though I would have had to wait for threee weeks for the complete order.

Newcomer to compression wear. Whilst waiting for NHS Feb 26 appointment to demo the NHS order of Medi BS compression 2 stockings, I purchased Mediven Plus open toed tights in Jan 26. I am very happy with them as they provide much relief compared to firm support tights from high street shop. Will compare with the NHS Medi stockings when I get them in Feb.

The medi website is easy to navigate. The products are accurately described. I received compression stockings from medi, supplied to me on prescription. I wanted extra one on top of the ones supplied so went through the process of ordering direct from medi. everything ran smoothly and I received the goods promptly. I consider the compression stockings to be of good quality and value for money.

Compression below knee sock

I was nervous ordering compression sock online as I normally get them on prescription. I was deligjted when my order arrived safe and sound. I love the idea of being able to order different colours. I prefer socks as opposed wraps. I will be ordering again in a few months

VV's no longer painful!

My right leg has severe varicose veins below the knee in spite of 2 operations one private and one NHS foe which I am obliged to wear a knee length elastic stocking. After using other suppliers (unsuccessfully) I happened upon "Medi" and have never looked back. I use "ItStays" which I find to be an excellent product and have no problems. Thoroughly recommended .
