I've ordered two items from Fishdeal and neither orders went well. I first ordered two Umbrellas which were a very good price and a good quality, but instead of the 2 to 5 days delivery promised, it took two weeks to get to me. Fishdeal did say that it was down to the courier DPD who were having delivery problems so I gave Fishdeal the benefit of the doubt. My second order was for a Landing Net Pole. The stock level showed one in stock which I ordered immediately. Expecting it to be delivered again with 2 to 5 days I then received an e-mail 4 days after I ordered it saying that due to a stock error it was no longer in stock. Fishdeal offered a similar replacement Pole or a refund which I accepted which was deposited into my bank within 24 hours which was good. So, whilst I have been a bit unlucky with my orders, Fishdeal's prices seem to be very competitive and I would still consider buying from them again, but don't expect any order to be received within the 2 to 5 days as they promise!

The problem with using Fishdeal is their courier choice. It is worth noting that goods come from mainland Europe. The courier they use is Hermes/Evri who from experience are very poor. My first order went missing, probably stolen. The replacement order some two weeks later arrived in a very battered and selotaped up box. I think I will have to stick to UK based online retailers in future. You also have to spend £100 for free pp. Their customer service is very good though, which is what you want when things go missing.

Sold me a reel not in stock cancelled the order telling me there was a refund due then didn’t refund telling me it’s dispatched. Not a good service you don’t know what your doing I will avoid next time I buy

Goods were sent from abroad, so, not from the UK. The fishing rod arrived in a mangled box, and I was most concerned that the rod may have been damaged in the long transit - fortunately it was not. A sturdy tube would have been a far better package option, and I would be concerned about buying any delicate items from this company again.

The item looks good and a lot bigger than expected. Delivery was bad, and the box was sodden wet. I had to put the calander on radiator to dry out. He was very rude and said sorry the van was flooded!!! Wouldn't use again.

Item was well described in the online store and offered at a good price, it was delivered very promptly and was exactly as described, a perfect fit for my CatchX bait boat, at almost half the price of a CatchX bag.

My initial package was lost by the carrier but excellent communication from fishdeal sorted the problem and another package was promptly sent. Improvements could be quicker delivery.

Great product but absolutley no instructions with it , struggled to put the fishing bivvy up without those instructions eventually did it , but would have liked some instructions

My second package was delayed. And when it arrived the box was all torn and broken. Fortunately the contents were ok. I assume that the shipping company lost track of the parcel.

I was sceptical so used my credit card incase , arrived in Uk sooner than quoted . Got my carbon flick net £50 cheaper than buying in Uk . Will definitely use again

Good range of stock at good prices, found everything that I was looking for. Communication with customer services was also good and my items arrived on time.

From ordering the item to delivery, only 2days, brilliant email correspondence & confirmation and the vey tidy package neatly parcelled- Love it 😍

Good quality product and well packaged to ensure no damage or loss in transit. Timely delivery which could be tracked from end to end.
