Excellent service

I was looking for a protective tunnel to cover my peas from the birds. I looked at various sites, but as I wanted to get them covered as soon as possible, I chose Mole Valley Farmers for next. So easy to order online, I collected the next morning with no problems as my order number was sent by email for collection. Our Staff at the local Liskeard Mole Valley store are always, polite, friendly & helpful & it’s a great place to get what you need.

Easy website to navigate and reasonably priced.Great choice. The only thing that is not too good is the delivery company. Scheduled for delivery on one day then emailed to say sorry will be delivered the next day which was a bit inconvenient, next day scheduled for delivery in a certain time frame but then delivered it at a different time! DHL . This has happened to me twice

Great service as always from Mole Valley!

I’m really pleased with my latest order from Mole Valley Online. The packaging was absolutely splendid – everything was so well protected and carefully wrapped. Bird nuts

Good quality product . Site easy to use . The only thing was the delivery which the courier dumped them next to the bin outside the gate on bin day fortunately they had been emptied.The gate was unlocked and we have a covered porch which was requested to leave in . But that’s not mole company’s fault . I have said this in the courier’s review

I ordered the septic tank tablets.. You quickly sent them to me.. I received them and took them to my dad.. He fed them to his septic tank… His septic tank is now happy again… phew All good and took less than a week from start to finish.. I’ve used this product before and it’s great for both pregnant and whelping bitches. More importantly, it’s an excellent additive for puppy meal and the pups thrive on it. The price of this product is very competitive, which is so important when dog breeding

Mostly, Excellent

Mostly, I find MVF an excellent shop for the products they have in stock, but I have had problems not being able to order or get a delivery for items shown in stock at other branches, also you can't order out-of-stock items and are told in-store that they are waiting for a delivery. In other words, they won't source a product for you that they advertise online; you just have to wait for it to become available at your local store, unless you want to travel hundreds of miles to another store.

Your service is excellent, usually quick delivery, but as the delivery person (i didn't have time to get to the door) merely standing 12 feet away as i heard the thump of something heavey landing on my porch. No doorbell rung, and van gone byvthe time i was greeted yet again by a split bag with nuts bag hanging out . They stated it had been accepted by me, but i never got to see them. That aside,the birds are going bonkers, eating at l3ast 2 litres of nuts each day especially since we all had that first dollop of the white stuff. However ours wasn't snow, it was ice and i have worked in those conditions on the railway enough times. But your service i would happily recommend.

Completely unsatisfactory and difficult experience from start to finish

Our gardener had recommended Mole Valley Farmers, as it would allow us to purchase from a local organisation and from people themselves involved in farming, rather than buying from a large and anonymous company. However, once we had placed our order it took over seven attempts for it to reach checkout, and this was done across multiple computers, browsers, and even two different addresses. With one option to pay we were repeatedly sent back and informed that our cart had changed since attempting payment, which it had not, while with another the screen from the bank asking for confirmation of payment via the app disappeared twice, taking us back to the initial page. Only on the third attempt was the confirmation page stable and I was then able to pay for the order. We received an email on the morning of 30th March informing us that our delivery had been dispatched, but the tracking link gave no information at all, so we were unable to find any indication about when the order might arrive. That remained the case until approximately 10 o'clock on 1st April when a delivery driver arrived unannounced with the mulch, which he then said that he could not bring onto our drive because it was covered with gravel. He also told us that the delivery conditions specified kerbside delivery only, but this was not mentioned in our confirmation email, nor was it noted at any point in the ordering process. The driver was, in my opinion, not helpful at all, telling me repeatedly that his day was "time sensitive" and that he needed to drop off other orders. Eventually I persuaded him to wait while I shovelled enough gravel out of the way for him to leave the pallet just inside my gate rather than on the kerb outside where it would have blocked access for my neighbours, and I then moved the bags myself individually to where I had originally wanted them to be placed. I checked the tracking link again after the driver had left - there had still been no update and no warning that the delivery was arriving. I should mention that shipping and handling fees made up £55 of our £160 order. It was fortunate that I was in, for two reasons. Firstly, had we been out presumably the driver would either have been unable to secure a signature for delivery or would simply have left the pallet in the road and gone on to his other orders. Secondly, my partner is physically disabled, so had I not been at home then they would have found it completely impossible to have dealt with this situation, which would have involved the sudden arrival of a large delivery together with a driver doing their very least to help while repeatedly mentioning that they were on a time limit. I emailed Mole Valley Farmers immediately, outlining all of the information above and my dissatisfaction with the entire experience, and the only communication that has come my way was a request for a review, so here it is. I still await any direct contact from them about my order. In all, despite our intention to help a local business, I will not be buying from Mole Valley Farmers again, as this whole experience, from the initial attempts to purchase to the non-existent tracking to the unexpected and problematic delivery to the lack of response to my complaint has been well below any acceptable standard.

We received a pamphlet in the post and we are very glad we did, as we had not heard of this company. We signed up and were then entitled to members prices, we also got a discount voucher and purchased a beautiful check mattress dog bed. Delivery was really speedy, it was packaged very well, and the bed itself is amazing quality - our family members have also purchased the same product as a result. Thank you! Fantastic quality at great prices!

After our favoured dog food for our giant breed was discontinued, I discovered a similar blend of ingredients in a brand sold by Mole Valley. This was over a year ago and eve been using Mole online ever since! The food is excellent quality, it's competitively priced and delivery is always really fast! On one occasion we travelled to our local Mole Valley store to purchase the food as, unusually, it wasn't in stock on line. However, this was also a simple process, easy to get to and park and the service was fantastic. Unless Mole Valley stops selling the brand of food we like for our dog, we don't see any reason to shop elsewhere.

I got a leaflet with my post, I don’t normally take much notice of leaflets but this one caught my eye I’m pleased to say! I purchased two of the dog crates with the lift and slide doors, one large for my car and a medium for my young puppy to sleep in at night. I already have a few crates gathered over the years but I had to buy these as they are so much better, easier and much better made than the ones I already have. I think its a brilliant idea to be able to have the ‘up and over’ door as I can open my car boot remotely and send my dogs ahead into the car as I can leave the crate in the car open while I am out with my dogs, such a useful benefit as my boot lid would not close if the side opening crate door was open. The medium one is a bit bigger than my previous medium and I can leave that open during the day without the door protruding into the room and my puppy can go in and settle down before I close it for the night, he never feels trapped or restricted by it. The quality of these crates is superb, much more stable and substantial than any other crates I have seen or had in the past and I am more than delighted with them. As well as that, the price is far less than I would expect for the quality, service and 24hr delivery I got. I am very happy with my purchases and will keep the website to hand and if I can see anything else I need/want, I won’t hesitate to order again. Very, very impressed. Thank you.

Love great company this community any serious if it…

Love this community any serious if it was not for them I would have to rehome my dogs as I am now on my own and struggle to feed them I am in bad heath my dogs are my world and life but this company sells food I can afford yes it still a struggle but there prices are so fare more people need to look on this site 5 stars

Mole Valley sells good quality products. The dog food has a high meat and protein content and my dogs only it. However, the items can be expensive. The delivery costs are expensive and put me off buying from Mole Valley. It can be cheaper for me to order dog food as two separate orders with delivery charges than one order. When I’ve had problems with deliveries left outside, not in the designated safe place, Mole Valley have not done anything to compensate me for this.

Mole online itself was quick and easy to use. However by the time I got to the store to collect my order they had sold my bag of feed to someone else. (The system said there was one in stock at time of ordering which is why I did click and collect!) I ended up having to go elsewhere to get what I needed and of course had to wait for my refund through the bank, so whilst the ordering system itself worked well the process after that did not.

online store

Delivery !! however my pain problem is needing more item description on the website. I had to return to store and re-order. In addition I do not know how long until the refund as the store were unable to refund based on the order which seems rather strange.
