After booking many flights with budget airlines such as Ryanair and EasyJet this year, my experience with Air France has been far better. The website was easy to use, no complicated questions or what feels like trick questions to get you to spend more money. Air France included a 10kg bag which makes me life much easier, particularly when trying to price up the trip. The price I found advertised on Google was the price I paid. I REALLY appreciate this.

Extortionate hidden fees are demanded for booking seats. We travel with a child, wanted to sit together and have a window seat. On the way out, booking a seat in advance is even impossible, despite description on website, and customer service bouncing us back and forth between the operating airlines (although all with Air France flight code). Incompetent, shamefully inadequate IT systems, with all kinds of problems, from payment, through seat reservation, account access to booking management.
