Our trip to Europe ( Italy, Austria and Germany was amazing! We saw beautiful sights and tasted amazing food, we went places that we wouldn’t have done if we didn’t rent a motorhome, we were able to change plans easily and never had a hard time finding overnight parking( most nights were free!! Such a bonus. The owner was so helpful and ready to answer all my questions! Would do it again!!

We had a breakdown while renting a campervan. Yescapa was incredibly helpful. They were very friendly and helpful. They asked about our travel plans and took them into account when placing us in a hotel for one night. We got a fantastic hotel in the heart of Palermo and were able to explore the city the next day while the campervan was being repaired. They also arranged a taxi from the garage to the hotel. Everything was paid for and arranged by Yescapa. Employee Mirella even contacted us outside of work hours. Fantastic. Wonderful.

Works great but comes with a lot of additional charges and fines. Would have been nice if that was a little bit clearer from the start. With small issues you can pay a lot in fines and there is no way to completely waiver the own risk.

Cash deposits aren't great.
I rented a camper through Yescapa, and while the van itself was quirky but acceptable (20 years old, taped-up bodywork, missing wipers and a brake light or two), the real issue isn’t the vehicle — it’s the way Yescapa handles deposits.
I was required to hand over a €700 cash deposit directly to the owner. He assured me I’d get a repair quote for some very light surface damage I caused. Weeks later, I’ve heard nothing. No quote, no refund, no communication. Because it was cash and outside of Yescapa’s system, I can’t even make a claim on the extra insurance I purchased. Essentially, I’m €700 down with no transparency or recourse.
This is exactly why Yescapa should not encourage cash deposits. It leaves renters completely exposed to owners who can simply pocket the money and disappear. A secure, traceable system for deposits should be mandatory.
The rental platform is responsible for protecting both sides, but right now it feels like Yescapa’s model tilts heavily in favour of the owner — and at the renter’s expense. Until they change how deposits are handled, I’d strongly caution anyone considering booking through them.

I rent an RV in Portugal, after less than 2 hours it broke down. Didn’t got any communication form Yescapa didn’t got and alternative vehicle or solution and not response for 18 hours. They don Have any support or solution for issues with car you’re renting
