Not the best lol in the shed

Have just counted 16 Greenworks tools in my shed plus 6 batteries all 24V and all interchangeable. The mower, hedge cutter and heavy duty strimmer are really best in class , the battery hand pruner and blower/vacuum are the least attractive and have some significant shortcomings. Have purchased from the UK distributor, plus various eBay sites and now Greenworks direct . I am less confident with the service and after sales contact with Greenworks that when it was handles by the UK dsitributor (Handy) who really were excellent. Time will tell if they have made the right move

I've left feedback on another link for green works so will repeat what I said two days ago. I took advantage of the 15% off voucher advertised on social media (Facebook) and ordered the garden trolley. Two days after receiving the trolley the mailshot team in greenworks sent all subscribers a 20% discount code ....whilst still advertising the 15% off voucher on socials. If I'd waited a few days I could have ordered the trolley with a greater discount if 20%. What I didn't add to the previous feedback is that DPD delivered the box without using a trolley themselves and dropped the box (as it's very heavy) twice, busting one side of it open. Fortunately, the electric trolley seems undamaged and works well.

No complaints

Easy to use website, reasonable price especially with the extra free battery. Delivery was within a couple of days, but the communication could of been a little better around the expected delivery date, I was a little in the dark after placing the order. The mower I ordered does the job and seems to be a much better option than the noisy, heavy petrol mower I retired. Time will tell how long the batteries will hold out for.

Tools great, Contact POOR

Their equipment is good, I have 4 different tools. However if anything goes wrong, for whatever reason you have to contact customer service it is soul destroying. You can't find a phone number or email that works. The only way for contact is to use their contact form. Even when they have replaced an item they don't seem to want it back!! I've been told on two occasions to dispose of the item within local area guidelines. Please Greenworks improve contact and returns 😡. Your tools work great 👍

Better instruction

I am a single older person who has never had to deal with this equipment before. Having G said that I am fit and not unintelligent. I had to look online to find out how to charge the batteries. No written information is provided. I didn’t realise that they went in the charger upside down. I am finding putting the mower together rather challenging as I do not find the instructions easy to follow. For this reason I cannot comment on the efficacy of the mower.

Good cut with lawnmower when sort of assembled

Got a smaller lawnmower model and strimmer than the one I have for my allotment. Which I am really pleased with. However, my daughter and I struggled to put lawnmower handle together, even though theoretically it's very simple. And we never did get the bottom screws in to the main frame, as there was no way the holes were everywhere going to line up. However, we've used it and it cuts well. We moved on to the strimmer. Again, so simple. But we simply could not get the handle screw to go as far as needed to be able to tighten with the wing nut. We ended up flinging it back in the box to get attempted another day. Back to the mower. I bought this mower because I thought the handle would fold down for easy storage in the garden shed. But it doesn't. And after struggling for ages to get the nuts on, as they easily go out of alignment and hence damage the thread, they are never being touched again. The whole assembly has been maddening. Should be so simple. And yet it isn't.

I have a number of Greenworks tools including a lawn mower, strimmer, leaf blower, hedge trimmer and now a chainsaw. All have been excellent and have replaced previous makes. They are well made, relatively light and all perform admirably. Having tools that accept the same batteries is a big advantage - I have two types which cover the range I have and always keep a number though the battery life is actually very good. Highly Recommended.

Sticking to one brand even though supply chain has changed significantly

As the work group organiser for a voluntary group ( Friends of Linear Park) , this is our tenth piece of Greenworks equipment ( leaf blower, light duty trimmer, heavy duty strimmer, hedge trimmer, long handled hedge trimmer, pole saw, chain saw, power drill, pressure washer, and now mower) All using the 24 volt batteries ( 2AH and 4AH - a total of 10 batteries) and all interchangeable. First piece purchased in 2017 and mower in last week or so. Each piece gets used at least once per week by different operators and one hedgecutter replaced under warranty, a polesaw replaced ( like for like) as totally worn out !!.

Petrol v 48v Cordless

I've contemplated for three years in changing my petrol mower to that of cordless. I have viewed over 40 mowers on various sites, and the reviews that went with each mower. I decided to go with the greenworks 48v option. And truly only need one word WOW. Simply outstanding performance. With the options on grass collection, or mulching. I am that impressed with this make and model. I've now purchased the 2-1 scarifier/dethatcher. Of which I'm equally impressed. I won't be going back to the petrol option any time soon

All the 40V garden tools have been great (Summers use so far) Lawnmower, hedge trimmer, strimmer...... The 24V workman tools ....2 drills, impact driver, multi tool, Large circular saw, one handed circular saw, Glue gun have not been used just tested and all seam fine. The 24v angle grinder works great The 24V Jigsaw was terrible and had to be returned as it would not cut straight and I had to buy a DeWalt one instead The four 40v and three 24V batteries so far have been fine ...charge and hold a charge....The 40v charger s quite but the double 24v is noisy (fans) but works fine

Two reasons for the three stars. One, Greenworks socials promoted a 15% discount code which I used. Three days later the Greenworks subscription email provided a 20% discount code. If I'd waited a few more days I would have saved more money. Secondly, DPD mishandled the delivery. The box was bursting open. Fortunately the garden trolley is undamaged and works (it's really really good with a few minor irritations).

My first experience of a battery mower

Seems good so far. Only thing is I find it hard to get the battery out of the strimmer! And the blade of the mower stuck when just a small amount of dry grass got tangled in there, but soon remedied. The battery ran out just before I finished the lawn but the grass was overgrown. First time the battery charged in 1.5h but the second charge took 2h. Overall I feel happy with II.

Battery lasts well - I already had two and on…

Battery lasts well - I bought two and one charges while I use the other, if I'm doing a big job. Great to have same ecosystem across hedge trimmer and mower. It surprised me by how capable it is of cutting a 30mm stem.

I have only used the mower once so far. Very impressed with the quality of the cut and quietness (neighbour has a far far noisier mower unfortunately and inferior cut). Very light so easy to manoeuvre. I find some plastic parts rather flimsy but reassure myself that a 3year warranty should help.

Excellent mower, very poor aftercare service response

Excellent Mower, however aftercare customer service contact and response times are very poor, you can only message and not call to speak to someone, it would be good just to get anauto confirmation email to confirm your request. Unfortunately they don't respond in 24-48hrs, not even 72hrs, I have been waiting 4 days with no response, and had to raise a complaint on the case raised. Still awaiting a response Thank you

First I bought the mower...

First I bought the 48v mower knowing that I'd need a pole hedge trimmer. So the 24v hedge trimmer was bought to complete my current garden tool requirements. Really happy with both products that are well made. If I had one gripe it is that the hedge trimmer is a little on the heavy side, so the lady in the brochure must go to the gym.

Greenworks Submersible Water Pump

I have a significant number of Greenworks tools bought over a period of years and not one has developed any fault whatsoever.A single battery type fits all and last a long time on a single charge.

Love my garden power tools from greenworks. I have 6 different tools now and find them easy to handle (even the extended hedge trimmer) So far no issues with any of them and the oldest was bought 2 years ago.

Nice mower

Nice mower. Easy to use and very comfortable on the arms. Cuts lovely and only time will tell if it continues to do so. Plenty of battery life for my garden.

I would have liked to have known two parcels were being delivered. All correspondence suggested just one. So when Half was delivered, I naturally tried to complain. Half an hour later, the same delivery company, different driver, brought the rest of the order. Still only one delivery/ despatch note.
