Not yet fitted the Sterling Battery to Battery and Mains Battery Chargers but I will be back in touch regarding ratings and safety margins when I know how much wire and terminals I need. Thanks.
Recently bought a victron IP22 20/3 which was dead on arrival. These things happen. Problem is, when I rang the service line to ask for a new unit on sending the old one back, the service guy was really blunt and said they would send it for repair and I'd get the repaired one back. So effectively I've paid new for repaired stock. Not good and not actually legal either. Will see what happens next.

Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear about your faulty unit. We strive to ensure that every customer has a positive experience when shopping with us and clearly this has not happened in your case, so please accept my apologies.
For higher value items we always ask that they are returned to us (using our free returns service) so that we can verify the fault and eliminate installation error as a cause of the problem. Under the terms of the warranty, we do reserve the right either to repair or replace, however, I can appreciate that for a brand new unit a repaired item would not be a satisfactory outcome for you. The reality is that in 99% of cases a repair is not economically viable and so a replacement unit would almost always be provided if the original is found to be faulty.
I have spoken with my support team and can confirm that you will receive a replacement unit if yours is found to be faulty as a result of a manufacturing or component defect. I'd also like to take this opportunity to assure you that we very much value your custom and hope we can assist in the future.

All good as usual but please take a hard look at your pick and pack process - way too much unnecessary single use plastic that can easily be eliminated at no risk to shipped content and saves money and the planet !

We take seriously our responsibility to minimise our enviromental impact so we're always looking at ways to reduce our packaging. Due to the nature of our business, we sell a lot of small parts (many of them very similar looking) so we do need to individually bag some items to label and clearly identify them for our customers.
We receive many pre-packaged items from our suppliers so some of the packaging you see in our shipments will have originated futher up the supply chain and we are working with these suppliers to reduce or eliminate this where possible.
95% of the packaging material we use in-house is recyclable and we are seeking to improve on this in the future.
An absolute pleasure to deal with,this is the first time i've dealt with 12 Volt Planet & i will not hesitate to purchase from them again & recommended them to others,highly recommended!

really good web site ordering was very easy and delivery fast.
Would like the ability to add to an order once completed as I forgotten a few small bits and had to pay postage again. It would be helpful if the white sticky info tab attached to cable was around a single cable as that would prove useful identifying each cable and the black elec tape around each piece of cable was a pain to remove

Product had separate facia and nut on back did not notice this on web page.
Will still be able to use but would have been nice to have had better photo on add.
