Extra cost monitor screen in car. Disappointment

My husband paid over £500 for the digital screen to be installed in the car which he had to pay upfront. The salesman gave a very good speech impression on having this. Much to our disappointment and disgust there is no sat nav on this screen, which we need and expected due to the high cost of it. We have had previous cars that haven't cost as much with preinstalled screens at no extra cost. We feel that we've have been mis-sold this extra. It has settings, a radio, a call option with no txt feature or cd drive. We do understand that companies are struggling, just like everyone else. This feels like disabled customers are getting mislead by sales reps.

DACIA JOGGER 1.6 UPGRADED TO 1.8 Transmission Issues FAULTY VEHICLE

We have had our brand new car less than 3 wks and had a Transmission Problem it's been in the garage over 60 days. The fault has not been replicated by the garage or they say. The car was brought back to me and on the same day the driver dropped it off the problem occurred again. It us my belief Dacia just did a system restall and reset everything on the car actually not repairing the problem Transmission Issue still on vehicle. Also the car came back dirty and disrespected didn't look like a brand new car it was in worse state than they were given it in. Would i touch Dacia Jogger models again I would have to seriously think on that one. The Car it's self when I took delivery was geogous and when it worked saved me some money. But the Transmission Fault is their and they have tried several times just to reset the system but according to the Dacia Joggers Drivers Club this issue is known to them. They dont know whats causing it but if they can get the car ignition light off its not a problem any longer until it happens again and it does.

Enjoying the new 2026 model of the Hybrid Jogger

Enjoying the new 2026 model of the Jogger, went for Hybrid, 1st time, really enjoy the fact that I dont have to charge the vehicle, automatically charges itself, fuel usage is very good, performance and overall of the vehicle very nice, a few minor niggles, but nothing major, in all a lovely car to drive and automatic gear change very smooth. Had in in the new colour Sandstone and is very nice

Dangerous lane departure 'feature'

The car is powerful enough for my needs. It is very economical (averaging 54mpg) and I like the way it will always move off on battery power and will switch to battery only even at higher speeds. Minus points? A big one - like other owners, I don't like the lane departure warning. It is unnecessary and inaccurate. The steering tugs even when I am staying in lane then it patronisingly tells me to 'stay in control' 😡 Even more annoying is that I have to go through several menus to turn this dangerous 'feature' off each time I start the engine. Why can't I turn it off permanently, or better still, delete it? 😡

I personally don't like it, but it's what my partner likes, it's good for her, and it was in my price range. There are several things I have found wrong with it, but due to a major heart attack and hospital stay and unable to drive after I haven't reported it. First there is all the seals around all doors weren't fitted properly and I had to refit them. Then, there's the drivers window, which when I do it up it comes back down again about 3-4 inches. The stick by the steering wheel which controls the volume on the radio is really annoying, keep bashing my knees on it. My preferred driving position means that I can't see my speed fully. There is a flat spot nearing 70 mph, it's not as responsive as I'm used to, making me unsure if I can get out of the way if needed. The rear seat belts ( seats 6 and 7), have disturbing signs of stretching, which means I will not put my grand children in those seats, plus, how do you get into them? I have checked the laughably hand book, which tells me nothing. So all in all not very happy.

The entertainment and computer system Is utterly awful. You pull out the drive and the car starts whining you need to take a break. Which it then does repeatedly even on short journeys. The music systems volume constantly disappears and mutes itself. No amount of fiddling with the volume sorts it out. So I have to press and hold the off button on the top of it to force a restart. The whole infotainment and computer system is the worst and most unreliable I have ever come across. Honestly it’s appalling. Do better

An honest review

Well it's cheap to run, carries anything I want to put in it, and is comfortable whilst doing it. So it's a very good car. There are two issues which need to change going forward. The electric hand brake which has caused me several concerns... some of which involve failing to hold the car on hill starts or the latest issue failing to release and allow movement. The other issue is the internal lights for entry and exit from the car. I live in a very dark place and it goes out plunging me in to pitch black. Either I have to close and reopen doors/boot to get shopping/ children out of car or carry a torch... all it will do is enable an able bodyied person to quickly exit the car.

The complete package

It is everything from my last car, Dacia Logan, and everything from my husband's car, Renault Captur, all put together and more. From the heated seats and being able to adjust seat height to the engine size, power and ecomomy. 7 seater, so grandchild thought it funny to sit in the boot. Not a media person, but again grand daughter connected my phone and I now play what music I like while driving. I was asked to look at the Jogger a few years ago and could kick myself now for not moving on. The amount of comments on the look and colour of the car were not expected. It is the dusky khaki with black alloys and gold mirrors. It's a package.

The Dacia Jogger is a good practical car

The Dacia Jogger is a good practical budget car, some of the accessories are cumbersome though, constantly having to turn on my personal safety preferences every time is annoying, the hill start assist is rubbish, the constant reminder when Im wearing sunglasses that it can't read my attention is distracting. Overall though the practical size and performance out of a 1 litre engine family car is fantastic and if the other issues were gone it would be an absolutely excellent car

A good car

Generally, the car is excellent. It’s fantastic that The rear most road seats comes out to increase carrying capacity. One thing that is lacking from ourprevious car, is the ability to adjust the legroom in the middle row of seats. This does make it rather tight for some adults .

Upgrades for next version

The tailgate does not open or close electronically, and the wing mirrors do not automatically close in to the body work when thr engine is switched off. It would be great if these items could be incorporated into the next version

I love my Dacia

Very comfortable car, good all round vision and very spacious. Very smart interior, the colour is amazing, so easy to drive. One negative thing im not sure about the lane assistant, you have to switch off before every drive so if forget to do this the country lanes are not the place for lane assist so pull into the hedges.

Good value, but work in progress

Decent price point, especially for a 7-seater. Room in the cab could be better, build quality is a little on the low side and driver safety assistance intelligence needs improvement - sometimes kicks in due to its misreading of the road conditions or markings.

Not a luxury car but acceptable for the price.

Compared with our previous car - Touran - the engine is moisture and doesn't seem to be as smooth running. The dashboard (on our new Extreme Jogger) is difficult to master and we never seem to be able to display the same view twice. Even when we restart the car, having stopped we don't get it to come on. Lack of indication of gear selection.

I like the car in its self but the radio and maps could do with a stronger aerial as it struggles to connect alot leaving you sat in silence and unable to access your navigation maps

I love how it drives, comfy, nice assortment of helpful gadgets. Would have liked the seatbelt to have a height adjustment The driver window wouldn't stay up after I opened it, it kept rolling down quarter of the way. Sat nav does not work properly. You can put in the first 3 - 4 letters and digits then it stops and you can't input anything else.

This car is ideal for me as a disabled driver.the boot takes my stroller or wheelchair as I have the very back seats folded down which makes the car a five passenger one with plenty of space The car is a good drive,I find it very economical especially around town . Where I live it's all long drives on duel carriageway the car will easily sit at 70mph Fully loaded ,it is fine on steep hills This is my second jogger I was involved in an accident where I was hit at speed in the back door and this car saved my live.within minutes I heard this voice asking if I was alright and did I need the police or ambulance it was coming through the SOS service which was brilliant I was lucky to come through this and that's why I got the same car again .
