The website is really easy to use, the sample pack was a great help in choosing the right system and the £5 discount was very welcome! Even better was the additional discount for signing up to the newsletter. I forgot to use the codes (d'oh), but staff were great and gave me a refund within hours of me letting them know. The parcel was delivered really quickly and although I have had to wait for other work to be done before installing the rails, I'm already thinking about getting additional items - and have had another email offering 5% off that order too - brilliant! All round great service. Thank you.

My only suggestion for improvement is that the supplied fixings use Torx screws rather than the more common Pozidriv screws. I didn’t have a Torx bit set, so I ended up using alternative screws from my toolbox. It would be helpful if the product listing mentioned that a Torx driver is required, so customers can make sure they have the correct bit before installation.

Thank you again for your feedback. This is something that has been raised before, so I'll be passing your comments on to STAS HQ in the Netherlands, as they made the decision to move to the Torx screw design. The change was introduced a few years ago to improve reliability, as Torx screws provide better grip, are easier to drive, and significantly reduce the risk of stripping the screw head during installation.
We do appreciate that this can be inconvenient if you don't already have the correct tool. However, based on previous customer feedback, a T20 Torx bit is commonly found in most household toolkits. If needed, we also stock replacement T20 drill bits.
We'll also review our website to see where we can make this requirement clearer, and I'll be sharing your comments, along with similar feedback from other customers, with STAS HQ to see if there are any improvements they can make.
If you still need one, we'd be more than happy to send you a T20 drill bit free of charge.

The system is well designed and the hanging attached to the rail is easy to use.
However, I feel that more information/advice regarding the placement of the hooks to the frame would have helped. In my case I used ‘D’ hooks on the frame, which I placed at the centre of the vertical side. Unfortunately this left a large gap between the frame and the wall.
Resitting the ‘D’ hooks to the top of the vertical at the top corner provided a smaller gap.
It’s a minor point but I feel that more information in your documentation would have helped.
I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending you hanging system to my friends and colleagues.

Having researched carefully about what hanging system I wanted for my new art studio/gallery, I chose the STAS minirail system. Great solution in a home cinema room

Clips difficult to line up because nylon wants to curl up. This will probably sort itself out once weighted down with frames. I found the clips were fiddly to hook up pictures. I've used your more expensive system but given I needed to keep an eye on my budget, I accept this will do the job.

All good except the bolts which holds the stands to the boards get worn and do not bite securely. We've had a catastrophic crash when someone accidentally kicked the bottom of the stand, it came away from the board and pictures were damaged. Any suggestions?:

The rails are easy to install. The cables are strong. It is good value for money. More information for the domestic user would be good. I should have bought more of the zippers. I was unaware how hard it would be to use two lines per picture to clip onto pictures with two rings. It may be obvious to experienced users but not to me. Perhaps a mini questionnaire to help work out which will be the best, eg size of picture, weight of picture, single person hanging them and so forth.

I am very pleased with the papergrip system, it does exactly what I need it to. Be aware that they advertise metal fittings but the actual product arrived with cheap plastic fittings, one of these snapped just trying to tighten the screw and they are a proprietary solution so can't be fixed. Delivery wasn't great but STAS customer support was very helpful and made it all good.
