A good communication with Mike Shaw throughout via phone and email. All materials delivered by Gavin in one go to my home address and on time, really helpful. It took the two of us (materials are heavy and we had no prior such experience) to finally build an independent wall of just under 8 m^2 over several weekends (picture of a near finished wall is shown). The Soundproofing store Video + instructions in the manual were good enough to get us going. We used up most of the materials provided, only had to buy extra tubes of the acoustic sealant and the self-tapping screws. The new wall does a good job in reducing incoming noise from my neighbours. I would highly recommend this product !

Soundproofed my 30m2 Garden Recording Studio with their products. They priced up my needs (Reducto Clips and Furring Bars, 2 layers of soundproofing drywall, and mass loaded vinyl + all fixings) - And after finishing the job on my own after 3 months, there was very little excess. Good product, good sales support and rapid delivery timescales. Well done.

The sales experience was very professional and the staff very helpful. We have installed 12 panels on the wall of our band room and have noticed a significant improvement in the acoustics. Unfortunately your delivery driver did not phone just before he arrived as we had agreed and it was lucky that someone was already there to gain access.

I reached out to The Soundproofing Store as I wanted to convert my garage into a recording studio and needed as much soundproofing as possible. Ian was excellent at answering all my questions and working with me on how best to achieve the desired results. Ordering was easy and delivery was always on time. They were even quick to help get some extra supplies to me promptly. Now the studio is built I can confidently say the soundproofing is better than expected; you can hardly hear the drums from outside. I would highly recommend these guys for any soundproofing requirements you may have.

Bought the kit and installed myself, to sound proof the side of the fireplace in the living room. Because I was doing it, I took some extra time and did it in 2 days, taking care of making sure every little bit was right. You need to be a bit practical with DIY, but more than that, plan ahead... watch the videos, make sure all is understood, get the right tools and be patient. I guess the part that was a bit more a pain was fitting the sticky acoustic layer, it is like bitumen in the hands and it does stick a lot. Measuring properly and doing it in layers is best, no rushing around. Also, having your partner helping with the drywall panels might be tricky because she didn't have the strength to help with the larger panels, so consider that too. The end result is good, it doesn't do miracles, but doing it right (cutting the floor and going down to the cement, no gaps etc) did a really good job cutting a lot the sound transmission, making myself and my neighbor happier :)

Very helpful advice and quick service. Made a huge difference as our walls were literally made of straw (Stramit boards from the 1980s!).

The product is great and it works a treat. The delivery was a shambles. Arrived very late with no apology. It also threw us into a spin as we were expecting it at a certain time as we had to manhandle it through a garden gate and this could not happen after the delayed arrival and so meant we had to do the the next day which delayed us doing something else and had to leave it on our neighbours' drive overnight. The office was closed when the initial arrive time came and went and it was a shambles. All very inconvenient and no apology.

I spoke to a few companies before deciding and very pleased we went with the soundproofing store. We soundproofed all our adjoining walls (120mm) which has made an enormous difference to our lives. Expert, helpful advice along the way. Flexible delivery options and great products that are relatively easy to install and do the job well.

As a building company we depend on good relationship and good advise. Phil and his team are amazing and they know what they are talking about. We look forward to working with them soon.

The self sticking heavy black material was not really self sticking.
