I always buy McSween Haggis as in my opinion it is the best. Now it is sold online by Haggisuk.co it makes it so much easier. The website works very well and the option to select a delivery date is particularly useful. I have two Haggis on the way for Burns night along with a few other items from their list. Looking forward o it.

I asked for delivery on 22/12 but it was dispatched for 15/12 by DPD. I instructed courier to leave in unlocked car on drive as I was visiting my wife after emergency hospital admission the night before and I didn’t want to disturb neighbourvat whatever time of night I returned. Whilst at the hospital received notification that delivery had been made. Returning home, late that night, the parcel was not in the car - as requested - nor anywhere around my house. I eventually found it on a neighbour’s doorstep. My neighbour was surprised as the courier had not rung the bell. Especially bearing in mind the nature of the goods and lateness of discovery, this made the delivery process very stressful at a time when I was already under pressure. I don’t know why it was not shipped on the requested date and won’t be able to assess the product quality, which was put in ta freezer as soon as I got hold of it, until it is defrosted and served on Boxing Day, Unfortunately, this will have been a disappointing shopping experience if the contents are fine and a disaster if they have spoiled.
