Sneaky practices.
Order is in the being processed stage for 5 days, contacted them & asked if it had not been updated. They informed me they don't label the parcel as dispatched until my courier has it, even though it needs to be shipped first (in which case it should be labeled as dispatched if shipped)
I believe they do this so that when the courier finally has your parcel, only then the 6-8 working days delivery kicks in as they finally mark it as dispatched even though it could of been shipped days prior.
It was not clear upon initially ordering that I was ordering through a German company on a UK domain, had I known I was going to be waiting over a week for a pair of shoes I would of spent an extra £10 elsewhere & had them arrive within a couple days.

Excessive Delivery Periods.
Nightmare delivery. Ordered goods with ample time for a trip, but not received. Poor communication there order status is 'dispatched' but Evri delivery status is 'awaiting package', its been like this 6 days and counting.... Have needed to substitute items for my trip and now will be faced with the cost of retuning these (now unwanted) goods to Germany. Massive caution, dont shop with Alipine Trek is you want goods for a specific event or period

They sent a wrong item (a smaller bag for the price of the bigger which I ordered) and they ignored my message which I submitted via their website.... not happy at all. I don't want to just return the item as according to their website they will refund me minus the cost of shipping... I don't think that's fair as it is their fault but nobody answers to my enquiry.... Very disapointing...

worst company (truefully) i have ever used (by a mile)
Purchased GCI - Slim-Fold Cook Station - Camping cupboard - Black Chrome | 53 x 132 x 82 cm JUNE 7th!! didnt arrive, i chased via numerous emails. Found out you had made an error in how it was sent. to cut a long story short...I then went throught the whole process again only to find out two months later the same thing had happened. two months and two camping trips missed i was offered 10% discount!!! i want by product but it seems i'm talking to a brick wall
