They are really great and I am so pleased I got them. However, I ordered my normal size and it was too small. Had to send them back. That was straight forward. Just waiting for my money. So I bought the pair two sizes up !!! Fits perfect and comfortable ! Maybe it would help to get a wee note about the fitting?!

Simple buying process and easy delivery system. Was informed every step of the way and delivery was fast. Better than from some UK based operating companies and delivery was by Amazon which made it so fast. Will not hesitate to order again. In fact this is the 3rd time I've used them with no problems.

It was easy to purchase on the website, and they had all sizes available, even the most common ones, which is different to other websites. The package arrived a little late, but that wasn't a problem. Maybe communication could have been a bit better in the early stages as I wasn't sure if the package was already on its way. Overall a really good experience.

This is a great coat; I really haven't been cold in it even once, and I do feel the cold; it's like putting a duvet on but one that's also a bit shower-proof! It's thoughtfully-designed coat too; the hood is really good, the pockets keep my hands warm and the magnetic closures on the wind flap are almost too efficient (as you'll find out if you stand next to something like a fridge door!) Constructive feedback is that the sleeves are not as generous in length as the rest of the coat; ok but I'd have preferred another centimetre or two. I like that it's a contrast lining & really like that it isn't stitched to the baffles at the front (so definitely no down will leak through there - not that it has at the back either) but it could be a more attractive blue? I like that there's a drawstring cord to make it snug round your waist, though my waist is a little lower - it still helps though. There are no side zips at the hem, which might make it hang a little more fashionably but the zip feels sturdy and zips both ways. Overall, I highly recommend this coat to anyone looking for a coat that's really effective and should last many, many years. I am no longer afraid of winter in the UK; thank you Stoic!

Alpinetrek.co.uk sell a brilliant range of products, including some European brands which I haven’t seen available from other UK sellers (I bought a Vaude parka which I love). Alpinetrek is a great company. Great products and service. However, the shift from EVRI to Amazon for shipping is disappointing. My experience with EVRI and it's delivery personnel has been exemplary. Since the switch to Amazon I have placed two Alpinetrek orders. Both were late, the tracking information was useless, the delivery windows (when finally received) were not adhered to, and the person delivering the last package was extremely surly.

I have bought a wide range of top quality outdoor clothing and accessories from Alpinetrek; the range and quality is superb and I Have always received excellent advice. This has included baselayers; waterproof clothing; socks; walking and running shoes; bags, hats & gloves! The prices are very competitive and excellent value for money!

Bought as a gift. My son loves these socks. He has problems with his feet but finds these keep his feet warm and don’t make his feet feel sweaty. They aren’t cheap these socks but he feels they are worth it. Obviously great quality. Like the individual toe sections. Took a while to arrive as coming from abroad but in less than 2 weeks. Certainly recommend.

Great Boots, but took 3 weeks to arrive? I bought a half size too large for a comfy fit with my Arthur Beale Seaboot socks, What ho! It works. Lovely design and construction with a slight rolling action. Very comfortable and warm. Alpinetrek are very good at generic pings from their arsenal of AI responses with no human intervention or follow up to real questions!

Always a great service from Alpinetrek, delivery can take a week to ten days to the UK but with the great choice and prices I feel it's worth it. Easy returns process as well if necessary. I already have a pair of these Merrell trainers in a different colour but decided a black pair would be more practical for the winter. Very comfortable shoes for light walking and everyday wear. Trusted company, recommended.

I found the coat I was looking for that is only available on the brands website and AlpineTrek. AlpineTrek were cheaper by about £20 with free delivery. The delivery was slower (due to coming from Europe) than it would've been from the actual brand, but still came within 5 days and came well packaged and in perfect condition. I did find the images for the coat on AlpineTrek were extremely limited compared to those available on the brands website, but the written info was the same. The reviews on AlpineTrek were helpful. I also appreciate the Trusted Brands guarantee that comes through automatically once you have purchased, giving peace of mind that my purchase is protected against damage in delivery, returns protection etc etc.
