An absolute nightmare returning anything. Used to purchase regularly from Alpine Trek and had thought they were a UK company but recently bought some over trousers for my partner for her Christmas. They were a little small so returned them and ordered two other pairs to try. I then had to chase the refund for the first pair I’d returned and customer service replies weren’t exactly helpful, I was then concerned about returning the second pair as I was struggling to get a refund for the first return. Everything was having to go through customs before refunds were issued. Has put me off purchasing again, which is a pitty.

Excellent price for a quality product. Great communications to let me know what was happening with the order.
Perhaps make the info about order taking extra days to reach the border a bit more prominent. It was in the email but not immediately noticeable. A minor issue for an otherwise top service.

They had the best price, though if I'd had to return the (trainers) the modest return fee would have dented that slightly. (But I didn't need to.) Lots of helpful information about the order after it was placed, and delivery was exactly as promised. 100% Yes, I'd certainly use them again.

Refiun Efficiencies .......
Get the returns more efficient in terms of the length of time to obtain a refund. I take a size 48 hiking boot and it often takes at least three pairs of boots before being able to settle on one pair. That means some £400 awaiting returns refunds.

Good experience so far
Finding the product and ordering was a good experience. Redeeming the welcome voucher could have been better but it worked ok in the end. It remains to be seen how dispatch and delivery go.
