I tried one of these zero gravity chairs out in peter jones London store and knew I had to get one. Which one was the question so many to choose from . I choose an outdoor model.The speed at which my LAFUMA orders arrived was incredibly fast.
The only thing I need is a matching footstool as I want my feet up and to sit up to read.
Otherwise it’s the ultimate relaxing chair.
I do think that LAFUMA may have a few gaps in its chair range and possibly need to introduce a few more designs particularly for older users.

Lafuma were very good informing me that a replacement that I had ordered would not match the first replacement that i had bought, and arranged for me to return the first replacement and for a new replacement to be shipped - this happened within days, and worked well.
The only downside is that there has been no mention yet of a refund for the first replacement that I ordered and returned.

Mixed results for me and my lounger
The lounger I bought is very well made and wonderfully packaged but…. I bought the one that goes flat because I wanted to lie on both my front and back. Unfortunately it does not go quite flat making it uncomfortable and impractical to lie on my front. Also there’s not too much tension in the fabric meaning that you sink quite a long way. It’s quite heavy and not easy to carry with one hand. All that said, it will get used until I can find something better. I do want to say that I had a fraud attempt on the card I used to pay about 24 hours after making the purchase. I can’t prove it was as a result of this purchase but this is the only new company I’ve used for weeks and so I would not trust buying direct again. Sorry to be a bit negative and I do wish you luck in the future.

We have 4 LAFUMA recliners, 2 of which are at least 30 years old, we have replaced the material 3 times and changed from lacing to RClip design. I recently ordered the wrong size RClip covers and was disappointed to not get a FULL refund, as I was immediately going to purchase the right size from LAFUMA (48cm). However, most colours out of stock, and when it was in stock received an email - quickly ordered said cover. NOW find they have refunded the £56 without any notice that it was again out of stock.
EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - my wife has given up and ordered 2 new recliners from another manufacturer for £28 each. Will only have to last 2 years and we will be “in pocket”. LAFUMA have lost a couple of VERY GOOD customers. ( we have purchased LAFUMA chairs for our sons and daughters families in the past.)

Great product could improve service with a telephone contact when there is a problem. Camping chairs are made lightweight, non rust with easy dry mesh seats and ground bars instead of feet that can sink into soft ground. Perfect for caravan or motorhome. I have just replaced some Lafuma chairs bought 30 years ago of virtually the same design because they have been so good.

I bought two simple reclining chairs, which arrived on time, completely protected in their cardboard boxes. The chairs arrived ready to use. They are simple to set up and fold, and compact to store. They are comfortable to sit upright in as well as to recline. I bought the drinks trays too, and would have like to be able to fold the chair swithout removing the trays - but a minor issue.

Bought my zero gravity recliner some years back, and little used, but eventually the seating needed replacing. So as the frame itself was in excellent working order, I ordered a replacement kit, and was very happy with my purchase, and easy to fit the new seating kit. Scroll forward another few years of little seasonal use and again the seating failed, so I’ve ordered another new replacement kit. The zero gravity recliner is a clever design, and the seating insert very cleverly designed, easy to fit, and saves buying a new recliner. However, whereas the seating material is ultra robust, after a few seasons the connectors that fit into the frame (in my 2 experiences) tend to perish. Nonetheless, gave my review 5 stars as I love the chair and Lafuma’s service.

Excellent quality. We bought 2 Lafumas for our motorhome 20 years ago and they are still perfect as we bought the towelling cover to protect at the same time. They still look like new and our in our garden. These 2 new ones are for our motorhome and we needed lighter ones (3KG) this did not compromise the usual excellent comfort of Lafuma chairs. As they are lighter will be easier to lift out which is important as we are getting older.

Very comfortable zero gravity recliner chair. Used one on holiday, and liked it so much, we ordered our own one after we came home.
We bought the version with clips rather than the laces and it has the extra back support( 8 clips a side on the back of the chair, rather than just the 3) and it is supportive. Good that you can eventually buy replacement material for it.

My recliners are about 20/25 years old and this is the first time I've replaced the cord elastics. Was so pleased to find that they were still available and I was able to fit them myself. No complaints here, very happy.
