Superb, consistent quality
Quality of both products and tools are superb as usual, iFixit continues to be my go-to repair parts and tools shop because of their consistency.
I love the fact that these tools allow we who detest this throw away world an option to fix things.
Battery brilliant and guide great. But when putting phone back together it’s hard to find the instructions putting it back. Therefore I was dissatisfied with this.
There are a load of extras hidden in the boxes you are sent twizzers, alcohol droppers, strange plastic sheet with what looks like a sealing strip around the edge which is not mentioned on the website instruction page. The details of the protective strips you remove are not detailed enough which means you do not know if the finger print sensor hasa film protector over it or not. This results in you scratching the sensor in an attempt to remove whay is possibly not present. Another pain in the butt is the fact that you have to find guitar picks to open the phone, having done this you then find a bag of guitar pics fall out of one of the boxes after you finish the repair.
I love the website on how to fix things, but having the items for sale which are correct for the item which needs repairing is genius.
Just saves so much time.
They resell third-party components cheaper than the original sellers do, with a better checkout experience.
