I needed a door part for my Bosch washing machine. After going direct to Bosch, who quoted 28 days for delivery, I found that FixPart were the only people who said they had it in stock, albeit at 2.5 times the RRP! However, since I needed the part and it wasn't that expensive to begin with, I ordered it. The website stated that I would receive it 'in one day,' which I thought was optimistic given that I had assumed that it was coming from France. However, having ordered the part on a Friday, it arrived the following Tuesday, apparently having been dispatched from the West Midlands. The communication thoughout was pretty good, even though some of it was delivered in French. Final delivery was carried out by DPD. It arrived very well packaged and was the correct part. However, the enclosed delivery note was addressed to Centrica/ British Gas and for the delivery of an expensive pump. Presumably, someone from British Gas has received the delivery note for my £30 washing machine part! Overall, a genuine and decent enough service but perhaps taking demand pricing a bit far.

Ultimately, the spare part was delivered and this of of course is the key outcome. However, there were conflicting messages by e-mail saying the part was initially available (Claire) but was then no longer available (Rial) so I ordered elsewhere (from GroupFx). Subsequently, the part was confirmed as sourced and delivered after a further 10 days. Although I was refunded the second order, the delivery charge of (an incredible) £15 was NOT refundable. Felt messed about a bit as £15 was nearly half the cost of the original part!

Ease of ordering and promptness of delivery. Whilst not the fault of FixPart, the fridge door seal that was sent, does not enable the fridge door to close properly and form a seal, even after following 'to the letter' the installation instructions. In comparison to the door seal that is being replaced, the replacement seal is 3mm less in depth. AEG/Electrolux maintain it is a like for like replacement, but it most definitely is not. Have not had time to see if the Siemens Fridge and Freezer door seals seal properly yet!

The web site allowed me to find a compatible turntable motor which superseded the original (unavailable) part and is a direct replacement. (Sharp R-959 owners be careful. There are two turntable motors listed, SM16HK36PXH3 is the correct part, SM16HK35M3H6 is not the turntable motor, it's the damper motor that operates an internal flap that directs air.) Anyhow the part works, the price was good (comparatively) and the shipping was acceptably swift (to UK from France). All in all a good experience, thanks FixPart.

I lost a piece of a Smeg hob. I could have bought a kit from Smeg for about £150 but I only wanted a small part. Fixpart are one of the few sites to sell the individual elements of the hob kit. I thought it was a bargain at under £13. However, by the time they'd added tax, packaging, postage and 'payment cost', whatever that is, the total came to nearly £23. Not such a bargain! Why does a piece of metal the size and shape of a 2p coin need any more packing than an envelope? Fragile it's not!

I looked on-line at several sources & the Bosch model number part was not available,. I looked on your site "thousands" of model numbers & near the end VOILA there is was. I ordered it on Wednesday 15 Nov & it arrived Friday 17 Nov. In 20 mins, I had taken apart the washing machine broken door & fitted the door with the replacement inner door window frame. My partner is a "happy bunny" we can now do our washing in the machine rather than hand wash !.

Good experience. Was told by Neff UK I couldn’t buy a replacement glass cooker-hood. Had purchased the 60cm version which looked silly in my new kitchen.Wanted the 90cm instead . Same main part only difference was a large glass hood. My partner found this website and they had the perfect item. Shipped within 2 weeks I think from France. Delivered within 2 days after clearing customs by DPD. Well packed . No damage . Absolutely delighted.

I was pleased to a small part (a seal) for an iron. It's a 2cm ring of synthetic rubber, it fits the iron, so the detailed part number and description were absolutely correct. A longish delivery time was quoted and on that basis it was delivered on time. The price was high for a small item. I guess both of those reflect the cost and organisation involved in supplying a huge range of rarely-needed parts.

I haven't received all the parts I originally ordered, to date only two have arrived. I was informed that the all the parts would be delivered in two dispatches. I have not received any further updates on this outstanding part order. Can you let me know when its likely to to be complete? Regards Benn Myhill

Our replacement pump was dispatched very quickly, but it started its journey in France & for some reason took nearly a week between leaving France & arriving in the UK (according to tracking). A query to customer services, asking if such a delay was to be expected, simply returned a link to tracking (which I already had). However upon arrival, it proved to be exactly as ordered & easily replaced.

Correct part dispatched and received within 24hr. Using item code as a pose to appliance details made the difference. Your competitors could not locate the part required despite WhatsApp conversations, emails etc and so the item sent was wrong and had to be returned. I will shop with and recommend you to others in the future. Thank you

Had a broken water dispenser cartridge for a four year old LG fridge/freezer. Did a Google search in the hope of a replacement and found this site. Ordered on a Thursday. Came on the Saturday by courier. Very well packaged for protection. Good communication up to delivery point. Very happy with the whole process.

I had no issue with the part or delivery but the address entry was weird..insisted on a house number (i don't have one..had to read the help to see I needed to state '1)'. Invoice delivery info to me omitted my house name leading me to think the part may not arrive however the delivery address was correct.

I made my purchase of an oven element. Fix Part said it would be delivered in three days. Day one I got a text saying "it would be delivered on day two at 15:31 to 16:31. The delivery arrived at 15: 40 pm. The oven was repaired the next day. To the delight of my wife. Having her oven working again.

Recipient address box confusing when filling out house number box when the house isn’t numbered. No 1 inserted as requested and house name filled out but the house name Folly Bungalow did not appear on order confirmation which gave cause for concern. The item arrived ok. Thank you.

I had to replace a water pump on my indesit tumbledryer. I found the part on the website and was able to confirm that it would fit my machine. Delivery was a little slow coming from France hence only a 4 out of 5. But that wasn't too much of an issue for me. Overall a good service

Poor picture with no description in online store contact was sent pdf which never showed much help sent photo of part and where it fitted just to be replied with another pdf exploded drawing took a chance and bought what I thought ver expensive for a little plastic switch

Well I’ve got to say I searched for this part for a £600 Samsung tumble dryer on all the usual websites and none of them had it. I then found it on this site can’t believe it arrived from Luxembourg 3 days later fitted it in 30mins. Thank you Excellent service 👍👍👍
