Wrong Product Supplied and Poor Resolution
I ordered the Meaco Cirro 12000 BTU Air Conditioner & Heater for £539.99, but Meaco sent me the wrong model without the heating function.
I first contacted Meaco on 11 June, but the response was very slow. They have now admitted that the incorrect product was supplied and offered an exchange, but they are unwilling to guarantee proper collection and redelivery to my room of choice, saying this is handled by DPD.
This is disappointing because the unit weighs around 28kg, and I live on the first floor with stair access only. As Meaco supplied the wrong product, I believe they should ensure the incorrect unit is collected properly and the replacement is delivered safely to the correct room.
Their alternative offer was only a £20 partial refund, which I do not consider reasonable for a product missing the heating function and the inconvenience caused.
I hope Meaco will provide a fair resolution: either a proper exchange with suitable collection/delivery arrangements, or a more reasonable partial refund.

We already have a Meaco Dehumidifier which was bought a number of years ago. This is kept upstairs, it's a must for drying our washing, particularly now winter has arrived. So we invested in this new Arete 2 12 litre version for downstairs to help with the humidity in the kitchen.This is equally efficient and quiet. Love Meaco, comes highly recommended.

I ordered a Meaco fan directly from their website, but the remote control battery was completely missing from the package. The unit looks good and effective at cooling. It is noisier than advertised when the compressor is on with 67 dB measured at 50cm from the front of the unit. The flexible window seal takes a bit of practice to fit but after a few applications it can be reinstated in 4-5 minutes. I would recommend for its effectiveness but beware it's noisier than advertised!

The new machines is still making a rattling noise in the air conditioning mode.
The same machine last yes when it is set to 22C the internal machine noise stops and you can barely hear any noise.
However, the new machine still makes a rattling noise at 22 and 23C.
Therefore it would seem that it is faulty and I need a replacement sent out.
