Amazing customer service from Gary and Toby.
Had an issue with the dehumidifier, but they organised a very quick and easy collection.
The new one is working perfectly, and decreasing humidity as expected.
Really happy with the product, problems are never 100% avoidable and Meaco should be proud of their customer support team
We already have a Meaco Dehumidifier which was bought a number of years ago. This is kept upstairs, it's a must for drying our washing, particularly now winter has arrived. So we invested in this new Arete 2 12 litre version for downstairs to help with the humidity in the kitchen.This is equally efficient and quiet. Love Meaco, comes highly recommended.
Power lead should be longer
Only find that power cord could be longer as power sockets are not easily accessible.

Effective but Noisier than claimed
The unit looks good and effective at cooling. It is noisier than advertised when the compressor is on with 67 dB measured at 50cm from the front of the unit. The flexible window seal takes a bit of practice to fit but after a few applications it can be reinstated in 4-5 minutes. I would recommend for its effectiveness but beware it's noisier than advertised!

Eating now changed
Easy to order, delivered on time and with care.
The new machines is still making a rattling noise in the air conditioning mode.
The same machine last yes when it is set to 22C the internal machine noise stops and you can barely hear any noise.
However, the new machine still makes a rattling noise at 22 and 23C.
Therefore it would seem that it is faulty and I need a replacement sent out.
