Great company but poor delivery contractor.
I have purchased from House of tents on many occasions and always find the experience pleasant, however on this occasion the company they used to deliver the order was less than professional. The driver was met with no one on site to accept the deliver and even with the weather being rain for the next 3 days and raining on the day of delivery he still decided it would be better to leave the items in the rain just inside the gate, even though there was a very large car port some 20 feet away where he could have left the items out of the rain. By the time I returned the items were almost impossible to move as they were soaking wet and the cardboard was disintegrating as you tried to move them. I have had similar experiences from this parcel company and try always to avoid using them as their drivers have no care for their clients or parcels. you can see on the photo attached the items were in the open as it was raining hard, the parcels are already soaking wet.

I threw away a gazebo because it had no makers name and it was not possible to get a new roof. It was thus...useless. how good it was to get yours to replace the old one. The delivery was fast. The equipment was of the highest quality.the instructions were absolutely brilliant. I had it up I one day working on my own. Your facilities for every kind of spare part, even for replacement eyelets for the curtains, is second to none. And the price? Well! I do not know how you can do that gazebo for ONLY ££499.00 including taxes and delivery. I want another one but have not got the space but, I will tell everyone that I know just how good this transaction has been. Thank you so much.

Fantastic Gazebo worth 5*
While the gazebo is gorgeous, I have given House of Tents 4* overall due to the lack of communication in the week after purchase. The website stated delivery on a certain day and that didn’t happen, so I tried emailing twice to find out what was going on. Didn’t get a reply, but when we phoned up the following week we spoke to two people who were very helpful and apologetic. Just sending us an email reply would have managed our expectations as we’d started to think the gazebo was out of stock! It wasn’t, thankfully. It is really well made and designed beautifully. So I’d recommend the gazebo, but it might not turn up as quickly as stated! Staff very polite and helpful when we spoke to them too.

Good quality product, construction can be challenging
Good quality product, delivered promptly. The frame was easy to put together but sliding the roof panels in and securing them wasn't easy, but got there in the end. The instructions on the page with the exclamation mark could be clearer - an indication of some sort that this step (inserting 2 screws into the grooves of the roof support beams) is crucial for the final step of mounting the extra roof support beams would have been helpful. In my case only realised this after I'd installed the roof, including panels. This causes me some significant rework.
All in all, happy with the quality of the product and would recommend to competent DIYers

Having found house of tents while browsing for a gazebo online i was delighted to find everything I needed in one place! I had already looked at some products at other local retailers but was sceptical about the quality . House of tents has a great array of quality and ecstatically pleasing gazebos to suit all tastes. I ordered exactly what I wanted and it was delivered within a week . The delivery process was pretty good too with the option to change the date if necessary when the courier company contact ed to confirm times etc. My gazebo is standing proudly on my patio firmly anchored to the floor . It has added some what to out door area which we look forward to using most nights of the coming summer. I am adding solar lighting as we speak to enhance the setting even more. 😎

I have not used the tent as yet but I can see the quality of the product, my only negative was the packaging it did not stand upto the handling of the couriers as one package was in a terrible state, perhaps wrapping the boxes in film would make it more robust.

Very easy to navigate website and easy to order. The canvas replacememts were delivered when they said they would be.
This is the third set Ive had as I use them at a small cafe I own.
Just a small comment. The new black velcro fastenings arnt really man enough for the job and its a shame the interior tie backs have been omitted. I have had to get a friend to sew some interiors tie backs ontot he canvas to stop it blowing around.

We purchased our party tent on March this year, delivery was quick and the communication from hose of tents was very good. The only down side was the packaging, it had burst open but that I believe was due to the carrier, unfortunately a quantity of small parts went missing and this was dealt with very quickly. I have not built the party tent as yet but the parts all look a good quality and we look forward to using it for our family bbq and for many more events.
My only suggestion for the packaging would be to wrap the boxes in cling film to prevent the boxes from tarring and this would prevent any small parts falling out.
I can't fault the company and thier after sales are excellent I would deal with them again and would recommend them if you are looking for similar item's thank you very much for all you have done.

Comms during the purchase process was good, but I was very disturbed at having to provide a copy of my passport to verify my identity. You have to be so very careful these days with such requests. However after I did some checks I felt it was ok to provide a redacted image.
Delivery was efficient but the very sturdy heavy package was almost too much for the single delivery driver. Everything was well packed and build quality was excellent, far better than cheaper models. Assembly was quite easy, but one corner joint was misaligned and I had to make some minor adjustments with drill and grinder. The canopy was made of heavyweight fabric which tool some effort to fit, but was tight and neat once in place. All in all a very good buy I think but ask me again in 6 and 12 months to see how it stands up to British weather.

Delivery in 3 vists!
My delivery of a 3 x 3 mtre marquee was delived in 3 seperate deliveries via DX couriers.
I had to phone House of tents to reqest that the 3rd item (2 x side walls) had not been delivered. They were on to it and they were delivered within 2 days..
From a cost point of view (and evironmental impact) the complete consignment should have been delivered in 1 delivery slot.

The 3 packages that arrived was so well packed and undamaged, excellent, the 4x3 Sunset Deluxe i ordered is everything I hoped it would be, as I said so well packed and nothing missing, took my time to assemble it all together and worked out away to do it all myself, I am so pleased with the finished product I would recommend this to anyone who thinking of purchasing one, I have one last thing to do and that is to hang the curtains, so pleased.
Just one thing to add on page 28 assembly note 4 DONT forget to slide in 2 square bolts before you fix it to the roof, as I didn't and had to start again, just a small tip that will save you time later,
House of tents, if on page 28 section 4 there was a foot note just to remind us not to forget to put them in it would have made all the difference, other than that the assembly information was very good.

I had three parcels to make up my order. These were all despatched as separate entities. This meant that one came on Saturday. One on Monday and after the courier lost it - on Wednesday.
If three parcels make up the order the courier should be given all three as 1 of 3 2 of 3 etc. This would reduce the likelihood of one parcel going missing.

The hard top gezebo looks great
The hardtop gezebo looks great when erected. It's not as easy to put together as described and definately need two people at times, but but it loos good and is sturdy. there were a couple of damaged items and some curtains hooks missing, and but the support team were excellent and replacement parts received quickly with no fuss.

The large Marquee (6 x12) was supplied with wing nut fasteners for the bolts. The wing nuts are not great, awkward and could possibly cause damage / wear on the PVC.
The smaller marquee (6 x 4) was supplied with hexagonal nut fasteners for the same bolts. The large marquee should also have nut style fasteners.

i am delighted with my gazebo, which was delivered very quickly. I erected it myself with some help from my son, one thing I would recommend is a little spray of WD40 on the "buttons" which made life a lot easier and less painful during construction. The 8 x 4 marquee is Brillant brought the PVC 750 cover well worth the extra bit, really sturdy framework and simple to put together took 4 hours two people at a easy pace to put together

Excellent product, arrived ahead of delivery date. Easy to follow instructions on how to build. Maybe some form of holding clip would be ideal when fitting the top layer polycarbonate and retaining bar, had a couple of occasions when fitting polycarbonate next to a bit fitted, it would fall out.

Gazebo very well made and high quality. Building it was quite challenging especially installing the translucent panels. They slid up channels but where crossmembers were in place the channel size was reduced and panels had to be reduced in thickness at the ends.
