Great online plate builder with loads of options to personalised the plate yet still remain road legal. I made an error on my original order and emailed PFC asking if it was possible to amend. I received a reply first thing the next business day, the order was put on hold and my requested change made. Within two hours of my approving the change my plates were manufactured and shipped that day! This really is a company that puts the customer first - great service! And the plates themselves are first class - thank you PFC!

2nd order from this company. Loved the easy design process and that I could put personal wording on the bottom of the plate along with my EV stripe , the Saltire and SCO. This was the only site where I found I could do this. Delivery was quick and they are packaged that they can go through the letterbox. Would recommend :)

Excellent service from Plates For Cars. My original order was unfortunately lost in transit, but their customer service was fantastic. They resolved the issue quickly and sent out a replacement with no hassle at all. My new private plates arrived and the quality is excellent. I'd happily recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I have just fitted front and rear gel plates with UK & union flag to the rear of my new vehicle, I was seeking visually simple plates without the selling dealer details. While not the cheapest option out there, I have exactly what I wanted visually and of appears to be a far better quality than other plates I have had previously and the turnaround was fast and efficient. I am therefore pleased and would definitely recommend!

The car plates look fine and arrived in good time. Unfortunately my order was short a drill bit for the drilling of the fixing holes. I notified Plates for Cars of the shortfall via email same day as receipt of package requesting they forward me one asap. As of today I have not received it nor a response to my complaint. There are cheaper plates out there, but the quality can be lacking to say the least, plates for cars PFC are a quality plate made up to your specifications, they are hardy and don’t delaminate, they come well packaged. I have used them myself more than once, never disappointed.

I would particularly like to highlight the outstanding level of customer service I received. Despite the clear warning on the website not to leave a space in the registration plate, a warning I unfortunately overlooked not once, but three times, I also submitted two separate requests to customer service to correct this. To make matters worse, my first correction request still included the same mistake with the spacing. Even though the terms and conditions clearly state that registration plate errors cannot be amended or refunded after an order is placed, the team went above and beyond. They took the time to correct my mistake anyway, ensuring everything was amended properly, and still managed to deliver the order on time. This level of flexibility, understanding, and commitment to helping the customer is truly exceptional. It is rare to find a company that will step outside its own policies just to ensure a positive customer experience. What more could you ask for from customer service? Honestly, I am almost tempted to change the personalisation again, purely because of how impressed I am with the service, alongside the very fair pricing. What do you want more from customer Service? I looked at a few sites (UK) and all offered similar plates / customisation. Some were relatively simple but others were difficult to navigate and give little confidence of what the final end-product would look like. Whilst PFC were a little more expensive (hence 4 out of 5 stars) I found the ordering platform very professional and inspired confidence. In particular, the facility to customise and 'view' the plates at each stage, made the process very straightforward. Carriage from Eire (I hadn't realised this at the time) was expensive so I chose the cheapest option, which suggeted around 7 days for delivery (I wasn't in any great hurry) but they arrived in 2-3 days anyway. An all-around pleasant experience, so a big thanks to the PFC team.

The only place where I order my plates from and the best out there. 6 years on and no fading or bubbling of any sort whereas buying from Halfords had them changed twice in a year and paid more. Don’t go for the cheaper options and order from PFC you will do yourself a big favour and save yourself from any disappointment.

I have used Plates for Cars many times, their website is easy to use and offers all the options you might want and displays the plate that results. Their service is very quick indeed and I consider their prices are reasonable, I thoroughly recommend them.

Perfect guys for plate numbers. I needed a replacement of my plate and seamlessly purchased a replacement and it was with me in a flash. Definitely what I needed to be honest. This is the 3rd time I’m buying from them and they are really reliable.

It should be more like 100 out of 10 stars !!quality and service is amazing The quality is the best on the market , the number plates are like glass , no imperfections or orange peel etc Bought some for my 1989 Ford escort and since then I will always use PFC , thanks guys

I’ve ordered three sets of number plates from this company over the years, and until now I’ve always had a great experience. The quality of the plates has been excellent, which is why I came back again for my latest order. Unfortunately, this time I also ordered a fixing kit, but it wasn’t included with my delivery. I contacted customer service expecting either the missing item to be sent out or for us to come to a solution. Instead, I was simply told they would refund the fixing kit. While I appreciate the refund, it wasn’t really the point. I needed the fixing kit to fit my new plates, so I still had the inconvenience of sourcing one elsewhere, which delayed getting them fitted. A simple replacement being sent out would have been much better customer service. It’s a shame, because the product itself is still great, but this experience has let them down. I’d still recommend them for the quality of their plates, but I hope they improve how they deal with issues like missing items in future.

Absolutely exactly what I needed. Had been looking for a specific font and variable plate sizes for front and rear, combined with the option to delete any other info. Perfect and quick delivery too. Thankyou

Brilliant site to choose how you want your plates, lots of options to choose from, I have used this company for all my plates. Quick and easy, delivery options are available and mine were delivered ahead of the scheduled date. Excellent.

The quality of the plates was first class. The delivery options were also very good. Accessories available were varied. Very pleased with my order, I will certainly use this company again.

The plates were good as I had expected for the high price I paid . Importantly the delivery went smoothly without issue which sadly nowadays is not always tbe case with other suppliers.

I had to order a new set of plates for my neighbour's car before I could take it for it's MOT and was able to order them exactly to his specifications and they comply with UK legislation. The PFC site is easy to use, I was able to "virtually" design and display the plates to screenshot and send to my neighbour for his approval. Once satisfied, I ordered and I received them within 24 hours, securely packaged and in good condition. I had also ordered my choice from a good range of fixings for the plates to the car. PFC's communications were excellent, as was their choice of courier which delivered promptly according to their schedule. Overall, the quality is good, prices are competitive and you get what you order, brilliant. Great service and very satisfactory. Thank you very much.

Great website, easy to navigate & freedom to design exactly what you want. Good quality product with none of the annoying air bubbles or other poor quality issues that some suppliers think is acceptable.
