Plates For Cars

Reviews:

Had a problem with the courier, twice they stated they tried to deliver but no one was in, this wasn't true. Third attempt they stated delivered but they weren't, their message changed to stating parcel had been returned to Ireland. Contacted Plates for Cars(email only)who were quick to get back to me and arranged for them to be re-sent. They have just arrived and I am pleased with them, they appear very well made and of a good thickness.

Used your products many times..as usual..excellent..however.. DPD Delivery..not so good..Paid approx £18.00 for Superfast Delivery..email sent from DPD That nobody at home..Absolute Rubbish..both myself and senior management in all day..and it’s happened before..received plates the following day..definitely not Plates for Cars fault.. Has many of your other customers had issues?..

The plates are of excellent quality. There are a great many number plate providers appearing, but as I discovered to my excessive cost back in June from a previous supplier, you can pay a top price, and certainly not get a top service! Plates for Cars supplied two top quality number plates exactly as ordered. I’m guessing that thanks to the online system, you can see exactly what you’re ordering, and presumably you have some sort of automated system that produces the plates from the online request, therefore avoiding any errors. I would definitely choose to use yourselves in the future! One thing that would be great, would be if you supplied a few more double sided fixings and IPA wipes, when selecting that option.

The whole process was made so easy with the option of you doing all the work and specific notifications to DVLA etc. Having got the plates to being told I can now put my new personal reg onto my car took about a week. So happy with the plates and all the emails keeping me up to date throughout the whole process. Thank you so much.

Great online plate builder with loads of options to personalised the plate yet still remain road legal. I made an error on my original order and emailed PFC asking if it was possible to amend. I received a reply first thing the next business day, the order was put on hold and my requested change made. Within two hours of my approving the change my plates were manufactured and shipped that day! This really is a company that puts the customer first - great service! And the plates themselves are first class - thank you PFC!

Your number plates are perfect - my only gripe is with the cost of delivery. Courier driver (I think was DPD) couldn’t be bothered to ring the bell. Found plate in box lying on doormat in the rain with their ‘card’ which is supposed to be put through the letterbox, thrown on top of it. Tried to complain to DPD but their app ‘was having issues’. I wonder why?

2nd order from this company. Loved the easy design process and that I could put personal wording on the bottom of the plate along with my EV stripe , the Saltire and SCO. This was the only site where I found I could do this. Delivery was quick and they are packaged that they can go through the letterbox. Would recommend :)

Excellent service from Plates For Cars. My original order was unfortunately lost in transit, but their customer service was fantastic. They resolved the issue quickly and sent out a replacement with no hassle at all. My new private plates arrived and the quality is excellent. I'd happily recommend them and would definitely use them again.

A bit pricier than some, however the quality is there, the plastic backing does not peel away, all pf their plates are made with quality materials, I have never had a substandard plate ever. Well worth the extra couple of quid.

Having previously purchased these plates I had no hesitation in buying again. The gel letters and numbers really look good and they are easy to keep clean. Great product and good value for money. There were make to order and delivered within 2 days.

Postage was high for a very poor delivery (DPD) service. Took over 1 week to deliver for £7 and total cost of plate was over £100, most companies wouldn’t even charge. Changed my reg over with DVLA when it said my plate was 2 stops away then they didn’t deliver for another 2 days. Meant I couldn’t use my car thst weekend when I really needed to. No response to my email from plates for cars either. Poor customer service. Number plate was fine but it is only a number plate. Will use a different company next time.

I have just fitted front and rear gel plates with UK & union flag to the rear of my new vehicle, I was seeking visually simple plates without the selling dealer details. While not the cheapest option out there, I have exactly what I wanted visually and of appears to be a far better quality than other plates I have had previously and the turnaround was fast and efficient. I am therefore pleased and would definitely recommend!

Am a returning customer , plates are straight forward to order and you receive exactly what your expecting . You are kept up to date on the process of your order and delivery was quick. Definitely my go to place for new number plates.

There are cheaper plates out there, but the quality can be lacking to say the least, plates for cars PFC are a quality plate made up to your specifications, they are hardy and don’t delaminate, they come well packaged. I have used them myself more than once, never disappointed.

The car plates look fine and arrived in good time. Unfortunately my order was short a drill bit for the drilling of the fixing holes. I notified Plates for Cars of the shortfall via email same day as receipt of package requesting they forward me one asap. As of today I have not received it nor a response to my complaint. In addition I thought the delivery charge was on the high side. Regards Alfred Kennedy

Really happy with ease of creating and ordering my number plates. It’s not the first time I’ve used PFC. They aren’t the cheapest but quality is worth paying a little more for. Delivery is quick and communications are great. I’ll certainly use them again in the future.

High quality number plates at a realistic price. I was particularly impressed with how I was to write my car’s original dealership on the number plate. ( An important feature for classic car nerds like myself! ) I will definitely use PFC for any future number plates.

I would particularly like to highlight the outstanding level of customer service I received. Despite the clear warning on the website not to leave a space in the registration plate, a warning I unfortunately overlooked not once, but three times, I also submitted two separate requests to customer service to correct this. To make matters worse, my first correction request still included the same mistake with the spacing. Even though the terms and conditions clearly state that registration plate errors cannot be amended or refunded after an order is placed, the team went above and beyond. They took the time to correct my mistake anyway, ensuring everything was amended properly, and still managed to deliver the order on time. This level of flexibility, understanding, and commitment to helping the customer is truly exceptional. It is rare to find a company that will step outside its own policies just to ensure a positive customer experience. What more could you ask for from customer service? Honestly, I am almost tempted to change the personalisation again, purely because of how impressed I am with the service, alongside the very fair pricing. What do you want more from customer Service? I am tempted to change the personalisation again, only because of the great customer service and the very fair prices.

Have gotten plates for three different cars spanning a couple of years. The quality has always been excellent and continues to be excellent! Thoroughly happy with the ease of selecting and configuring plates to the fast shipping and general quality.

Excellent product and simple to use website. What’s not to like! This has been my go to plate site for a while now. Being able to personalise the colours and text on the plate but still know that it’s 100% legal is brilliant.
