We are so so pleased with our front-mounted seat! Our 18 month is utterly delighted and feels secure, and it should last her at least another year (91st percentile). It arrived astonishingly quickly and was simple enough to assemble and mount. Also really like the colours. Wish we had sorted ourselves out sooner as the fun we’ve had has been priceless, particularly bike rides to pick wild blackberries. It’s even made the nursery drop-off happier! Thank you Jesus for Urban Iki!

This is an excellent product and offers fantastic value for money compared to similar options on the market. It feels incredibly solid and secure, and I was able to fit it to my relatively high-end MTB despite having limited space around the headset. It's currently being used by my one-year-old, who looked comfortable and secure from the very first ride – they even fell asleep, which says a lot about how comfortable it is. I've recommended it to several people on our rides, and it's sparked a lot of interest because most people expect child seats to be mounted on the rear of the bike. Everyone who's seen it has been impressed with the design. Before buying, my biggest concern was the reduced turning radius because of the footrests. In reality, it's nowhere near as restrictive as it looks, and during normal riding I've never found it to be an issue. The only improvement I'd suggest would be making the footrests removable rather than permanent. I'd consider taking them off in the future, but they would need to be cut off, so a detachable design would make an already fantastic product even better. Overall, I'm extremely impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

My 18m old is circa 13kg and he fits perfectly into this seat. We did a 10 mile ride near us and he and I really enjoyed it. The seat is very well made, easy to install, secure and allows you to ride with your child in a much more engaging way than with a traditional rear mounting seat. Thoroughly recommend this seat as an interim step before your child is ready for a frame mounted saddle or their own bike

The Junior seat is super easy to install, I already had the mounting frame from the baby seat so there was no need to buy another. My 6 year old likes how she can climb in herself. Because of the sizing of my bike and carrier rack, I'm not able to lower the back rest (it hits the seat) and I can't fit a rear mudguard, so I have to cover the back rest with a plastic bag on wet rides to prevent puddles splashing up her back. You could make some sort of cover for the back rest that slides over. Also the footrests do not lock in the open position so when she's riding they are partially folded down with the weight of her feet - again because of the shape of my bike. I had to install them at an angle. However these issues do not prevent us from using it and I'm extremely happy with it.

The item itself seems to be excellent quality. It was delivered really quickly and it took very little time to get on the bike. The instructions were clear too. I found the website really easy to use, and every question I had (eg the difference between the two types of rear bike seats, weight limits, difference between mounting types) were all easy to find on the website. Would highly recommend!

Easy to fit and feels very well made. I was concerned that my daughter would find the transition from a more sculpted bike seat quite hard, but she has loved moving to the Urban Iki Junior and already shows signs of better balance and confidence on the bike.

I love Urban Iki products - so far I have the MIK compatible child seat (sooo handy and secure) and my infant’s helmet! I so loved the helmet I’ve now ordered the same one in the next size up and also a backpack for the child seat which will double up as my handbag/baby bag. The colours and materials match my bike and make me feel great on the trail. Thank you!!

Had another brands’s bike seat before, but was feeling it wasn’t safe for my daughter. This immediately felt safer for her and gave me also more confidence on true ride

The product is very good quality, and pretty easy to assemble once you have got your head around the installation instructions. One negative was the packaging was wide open when the initial delivery took place.

Installation was really straight forward and easy to do. Ordering was a simple process and helpful tracking of delivery. Is a really good alternative to some of the more expensive models on the market and fits a wider stemmed handle bike which was required for us.

It’s a great seat and seems very robust. The kids seems to find it comfortable on our first outing.
