Sony Infrared receiver
Sony TV would not accept remote signal, tried remote test on another Sony TV, narrowed down to Infrared receiver in TV, found OEM component through site, ordered late Friday, arrived in 3 business days as stated, took 10 mins to change, can stand other side of room approximately 15 foot away instead of 3 - 6 inches away, with multiple pressing, quick and easy to deal with the company.
Great source for replacement parts
Have found FixPart the best for sourcing replacement parts for my washing machine. Detailed descriptions given and compatibility checks. Very reasonable prices for items and cheaper after-market options often available. Easy to order and items sent within a couple of days.
Dyson compatible battery arrived promptly, seems to work well so far and was much cheaper that than the genuine article, which was in any case out of stock at Dyson.

Spare parts for Neff microwave oven worked as described. The only downside was the delivery charge of around £6.50, 50% of the cost of the parts. They could have been posted in a much smaller package, rather than a box 50 times larger than needed.
So what was a reasonable price to start with turned out to be expensive one in the end.
Having tried another company which supplied the wrong spare, I am delighted with the service received and the spare part supplied! It fits! Hooray!

First time I've used FixPart, and was pretty impressed. I found the website easy to use, especially as photos backed up the descriptions. Delivery and communication (e-mail) both very good given the time of year (Xmas)
Easy site to use. I just put my product model number into search and a selection of compatible parts were given. The door seal for my tumble dryer was perfect and great quality. Reasonably priced and quick delivery.
delivery should be nxt day for the cost of it and no correspondence what day delivery due or time frame on the day which is very poor as most delivery services have this, i dont want to have to go into the email i got when i purchase and put in a tracking number everyday to see when and if its arriving that day, this is old hat and people required real emails or txt notifications as we all lead busy lifes and this is the best, most informative and helpful way for a customer.
