The rubber gasket seal design is not as same as the original one, i.e. there is no rubber protruding ring at the edge, and therefore leaking. As I could no longer wait for another part to come due to heavy washing loads that has been getting accumulated, I had no alternative but to fix it with some silicone glue around the edges to stop leaking

And really what more can you ask for. I did find the part cheaper, but is it worth the risk? Not in my view. nice to get the goods and service you pay for.
