I gather from our email correspondence that you found my requests for specific information regarding the light fittings being controlled by the Smart Dimmer frustrating, I am sorry that was the case but the root cause of most dimmer issues is incompatibility between the light fitting and the device.
In particular Smart Dimmer failures are often caused by the light fittings connected exceeding the wattage rating of the unit, and as we have products with different ratings, we needed further detail to provide you with the right solution.
As you did not provide that information, I can't comment on why the device failed .
