I love these bean bags. Previous I had the huge cloud sack but when I had to replace it due to a flood I decided to go fkr the sofa type instead. Absolutely love them but boy were they more difficult to fill. It took me 3 hours on my own to fill. Then still needed topping up the day after. I have to say though it is well worth it. I love it and the dog does too lol. I have them in my converted basement as my snuggy chillout room so cant wait to chill on them at weekend. Also got a couple of cushions and neck hugger in faux rabbit fur - sooooo soft and comfy. Might struggle keeping the dog of these lol.

Filling the bean bag was more challenging that we thought it would be as the little balls are static and stick to everything, including the inside of the box. We did have some spillage even being really careful and it took ages to pick the stray ones up and pop them in the box. It's definitely a 2-person job. I was a little disappointed that our highback didn't look like the one in the picture on the website, which looked fuller than ours. You have to shake it upside down and then dive your hands from above into the area where your bottom would be to get the back to sit up ... but it still looks slightly underfilled. I did contact customer services but they said it's meant to be like that and wouldn't send any more filling to me! It is comfortable but it still feels slightly underfilled. So, a little underwhelmed with the experience of using Big Bertha.

These chairs are very comfortable and seem to be well made. So far so good. Plenty big enough for an adult to sit on. They look very sweet/dinky. Just what we wanted, but would be unsuitable if you have problems standing from low furniture or if you want something as imposing as a standard arm chair. Filling them is a bit of a faff, but definitely not a show -stopper. We had two done in under half an hour the pair. It's a justified small hassle given the price.

Instructions were outdated and for a different design of chair. We didn’t realise until after we’d got balls everywhere that there was a bag to pour them into as this wasn’t on the QR code instruction. Sofa from the website looks significantly plumper than ours. Even with shaking it still feels like there aren’t enough beans. This was expensive and I was expecting something more substantial update June 2026- the company got in touch and supplied additional beans at no further cost. good customer service. I bought the earthy green beanbag and I love how it slots in perfectly with my African decor in savannah colours. It’s very comfy too with the perfect amount of filling and even these 60something old bones can get on and off it pretty easily …. And it moulds to your form very nicely if you do a bit of wiggling into it! Highly recommended!

The Big Bertha Original⁠� bean bag and matching footstool have been an absolutely fantastic addition to the home. From the moment they arrived, the quality and comfort were immediately noticeable. The beanbag itself is good quality, just as expected. However, the packing and self-assembly process is dreadful. The polystyrene beads are sent in a separate plastic bag with a messy, cumbersome system for filling the beanbag. It took two people an hour to fill because of the way the beanbag is divided into internal compartments. This is supposedly justified because the beanbag can be emptied for cleaning - but the idea that it would ever be possible to get all the beans out of the crevices inside is ridiculous. Even if the company insists on sending the equipment to empty the beanbag, there is no reason it should not come pre-filled - this just seems like a way to save themselves the labour. Also the zip-pull on the outside of the beanbag is a paper clip, which obviously looks very cheap and flimsy.

Bought an amazing furry beanbag for my granddaughter. It is absolutely beautiful. It was a bit of a faff to fill it, especially when you live on your own but I did it!! It is fab quality and huge. I bought it at half price but wouldn’t have wanted to pay full price for it. Really happy with my bargain.

Bought a rectangular bean bag to help my arthritic dog get on sofa. Exactly what we needed and prompt delivery. The filling comes separate from the cover. It's a bit of a pain to put in, but at the same time it means you have control over how firm or soft the beanbag is and that is a plus.

The customer has to fill the bag with the beans. The bags don’t come ready-filled. Trust me, with two us putting the beans in the bag it was a nightmare. The beans went everywhere and took us 45 minutes to clear up. We’re still finding beans around the house. The seats are smaller than as they appear in the website photos and there are not enough beans (IMO) to fill the bags sufficiently (we only lost about 1% of the beans following our clear up operation.

I ordered a chair for my grandson and am really pleased with the product and the service. The chair is great quality and exactly what we wanted. We had an issue with the delivery company, but after contacting customer services the team were responsive and quickly arranged a replacement. Excellent customer service throughout. My grandson loves his chair, and I would happily recommend this company.

I took 2 stars.off for the fact that you have to fill it yourself. What a faff. Was surprised also that there was only one layer of farbic, and a zip opening too narrow to allow the ease of filling. I'm not entirely convinced that the "secure" zip is that secure. I also didn't like the lack of fabric colours. The description requires more detail and clarity over what you are getting. I bought this as a gift for a child.

We were surprised that the beanbag arrived without the beans inside it, and we had the very tedious task of trying to get millions of tiny polystyrene balls into the cover. The instructions to use the box were clear, but the static that builds up when you are trying to pour them into the cover is ridiculous and they will go everywhere. For the price paid, we expected it to arrive as a pre-filled beanbag.

The bean bag itself is lovely. The main issue that I would like to highlight is that the beans arrived in the package separate to the cover. This should be made clear on the website when purchasing the bean bag. Had I known about this I would not have purchased it. We had a lot of difficulty getting the beans into the bean bag and it created a lot of mess which took a long time to clear up.

Good size bean bag but should be supplied filled, states this is due to shipping costs, but it still would have come in the same size enormous box, it was hard work and lots of mess to fill it, for the price it should be filled.

I liked the price, I liked the product, I liked the quality and I liked the delivery time. I don’t like how you have to file the bean bag yourself because it’s absolute chaos and I don’t understand how you’re supposed to wash the bean bag/foot stool without emptying all the beans out and going through that process again - which was unexpected.

Product is good, a little narrow to lie on even though I'd checked the measurements. The filling will go everywhere even when great care is taken! Delivery was not great and really should have been notified there would be two separate ones.

Although the pouffe was lovely it did not suit the place i wanted it for. it was picked back up and although the return took a while , the team sorted my query straigt away. Couldn't fault the product or the customer service

It's light, so very handy to move around and use as a footstool, for a child to sit on or a small pet to lie on. I got it for a cat, but it's been moved around a lot. When it should have been delivered it got lost by the delivery company but I emailed the supplied and they sent another straight away, which arrived safely, very good service from them.

I didn’t realise I’d have to fill the beans myself into the bag, so be warned. The bag itself is nice quality and my son is very happy with it. I wouldn’t say it’s big enough for an adult but it fits a kid nicely.
