My daughter loves the plush corduroy beanbag that she got for her birthday. I did read reviews (after buying it!) that explained you had to fill it yourself so I was prepared for that when it arrived - it was a bit of a pain and I would say definitely requires two people, but it was completely manageable. My only niggle about the beanbag itself is that the colour on the circular piece of material that forms the 'seat' area is a slightly different green vs. the rest of it - I don't think it's supposed to be, so I am guessing it was two batches of material that have been used together.

I ordered Josephine Bean Bag Armchair - Cord Dovetail Grey with foot stool. For my needs it is excellent -comfortable for long enough to watch a film or work on lap top. Definitely enhanced by the footstool. One comment, though is that there are no enough photos on the website of people sitting in the bean bags which meant my search was laboured. Fortunately it suits my needs perfectly as I am a slight, 5'3" woman; but it would not have suited a larger adult. My search continues for similar for my husband...

Having previously purchased a big cushion which I was happily delighted with. I found that each time my 10 year old grand daughter came to visit Grandma and I that she immediately commandeered my cushion however long her stay . So knowing that she had her up coming birthday I asked her if there was anything that she would really like and her immediate reply was a large cushion for her use at home for lounging while watching television or chilling on her I pad . And I can say without a doubt she is now a very happy bunny 👍

Brilliant product and customer service. I bought a bean bag for my daughter, she loved it but the cover developed a couple of pulls after a short amount of time, I reached out to customer service who asked for photos then immediately offered to send a replacement in a different fabric and extra filling. That arrived very quickly. Their customer service is excellent and we’re really happy with our final product. Would definitely recommend.

The quality of the actual product and the promtness of the service provided. I do have one thing that I would like to mention, which is not a criticism or a fault. The padding or inner pillow/s could be slightly thicker or fuller. As stated, it is not a criticism just an observation and a preference. Apart from that I would, and most certainly will, recommend you.

Hands down the best beanbag we have ever had. Very robust but very comfortable. It’s become the most popular after seat in the house. Would recommend setting it up in a room without carpet. The bag with the beans has a huge opening so difficult to pour even if you bunch up the bag tightly to make a spout. The beans are very static and they fly everywhere.

Even though I had to put the beans inside the bag and put it together, and caused a bit of a mess, the bean bag is lovely and our dog is very happy snuggling into it. Our children both had a big bertha bean bag when they were little (they are now in their twenties) - still have them, just refilled with more beans - great long lasting product.

I love these bean bags. Previous I had the huge cloud sack but when I had to replace it due to a flood I decided to go fkr the sofa type instead. Absolutely love them but boy were they more difficult to fill. It took me 3 hours on my own to fill. Then still needed topping up the day after. I have to say though it is well worth it. I love it and the dog does too lol. I have them in my converted basement as my snuggy chillout room so cant wait to chill on them at weekend. Also got a couple of cushions and neck hugger in faux rabbit fur - sooooo soft and comfy. Might struggle keeping the dog of these lol.

Filling the bean bag was more challenging that we thought it would be as the little balls are static and stick to everything, including the inside of the box. We did have some spillage even being really careful and it took ages to pick the stray ones up and pop them in the box. It's definitely a 2-person job. I was a little disappointed that our highback didn't look like the one in the picture on the website, which looked fuller than ours. You have to shake it upside down and then dive your hands from above into the area where your bottom would be to get the back to sit up ... but it still looks slightly underfilled. I did contact customer services but they said it's meant to be like that and wouldn't send any more filling to me! It is comfortable but it still feels slightly underfilled. So, a little underwhelmed with the experience of using Big Bertha.

These chairs are very comfortable and seem to be well made. So far so good. Plenty big enough for an adult to sit on. They look very sweet/dinky. Just what we wanted, but would be unsuitable if you have problems standing from low furniture or if you want something as imposing as a standard arm chair. Filling them is a bit of a faff, but definitely not a show -stopper. We had two done in under half an hour the pair. It's a justified small hassle given the price.

Should be advertised as a DIY kit (don't care if there is a small print somewhere). What's the point of sending all the bits in big box separately? Takes the same effort to fill a plastic bag with beans as making ready the final product. Potential mess and hassle DIY'ing it in your room. Just sell covers separately then. China origin, just boxed locally. Otherwise presentable box/item and quick delivery. Fine fabric is not breathable at all, should have opted for a coarse.

A big bean bag. I’ve recommended the posher versions to my brother. Delivery atrocious; left at the wrong address and changed it in marker pen . My neighbour kindly recovered it; safe place instructions ignored. I could add the photo the delivery driver left of someone else’s doorstep.

Fantastic beanbag sofa! Turned the loft space into a living room for my son and needed something that would fit through the hatch, came across this company and ordered the sofa and footstool. Arrived quickly, easy to fill and very comfy to sit on. Couldn't be happier with my purchase

Bought this bead filled chair for our soon to be 1 year old granddaughter, and had some fun putting it together. The video instructions are spot on, but it most definitely take two to fill it with the beads. She'll love it on her birthday, October 23rd

Arrived quickly and well packed. Unfortunately there was not quite enough filling supplied for this high backed model, but after an email to sales , more polystyrene beads were rapidly dispatched. Great customer service. Lovely , well stitched chair . Grandson adores it!

Instructions were outdated and for a different design of chair. We didn’t realise until after we’d got balls everywhere that there was a bag to pour them into as this wasn’t on the QR code instruction. Sofa from the website looks significantly plumper than ours. Even with shaking it still feels like there aren’t enough beans. This was expensive and I was expecting something more substantial update June 2026- the company got in touch and supplied additional beans at no further cost. good customer service. I ordered a Big Bertha Bean Bag for my Grandson’s birthday. He takes it all around the house with him. He just loves it. My granddaughter wants one now so I have ordered one for her Christmas. Fast delivery. I would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Really nice and comfortable bean bag. Only issue is for the price I would have expected it to be put together for you prior to delivery. It comes with the polystyrene balls separately so quite messy trying to get them all in the cover

Good quality beanbag, sturdy and well made. Only slight complaint is that it did not come with enough beans, so I had to buy some more as I wanted to use it as a footstool and I needed it to be far firmer than it originally was.
