Excellent product. Great Customer Service. Needed confirmation that I was buying the correct OWC SSD for my iMac. Marian replied very quickly to confirm that it was a direct replacement for my HDD. The enclosure supplied was a 'god send' which enabled me to use the original HDD for external storage. Tried to transfer all files to the new SSD using Time Machine but the files were corrupt so I just plugged the external enclosure containing the original HDD into the iMac and used Migration Assistant. Effortless and job done.

My Imac hard drive packed in and I thought I was going to have to shell out £1400 for a new iMac. Thought I would try this option first and I’m so glad I did. I renewed the hard drive with a new SSD drive and also upgraded the memory. The tools and screen seals were excellent and the whole job was much easier than expected especially using the how to videos. My IMac is so fast compared to before and I’m delighted. I really liked the support via online, but also have some additional recommendations based on my experience.
I really liked the support via online resource. I was replacing the battery for the first time ever and here are a few suggestions from my side to improve the experience:
1) the screwdrivers are coloured but in the YouTube resource there is no mention of the colours only codes. I would suggest adding the codes on the screwdrivers or updating the YouTube with the screwdriver colours.
2) it would be good to have a quick comment at the beginning the the YouTube resource about the importance to make sure we put the screws from different parts or the operation in a correct order and placement.
