My experience with fishdeal has been excellent, i purchased reels and spare spools at very competative prices (by far the cheapest anywhere I looked). Postage was free and fairly quick, (I ordered on a sunday night and they arrived by tracked courior Saturday morning, thats 6 days from the Netherlands to the UK) I think that is pretty good considering I was notified it could be longer due to heavy work loads at the warehouse. The reels are very good quality from a well established company and were well packaged. What`s not to like. Despite all the negative feedback from other customers, I would buy from them again, without hesitation

Zamówiłem po rez kolejny rzeczy z fishdel zamówienie zostało opłacone i miało być dostarczone od 2 do 5 dni roboczych. Minęło 7 dni roboczych i nie dostałem swego zamówienia więc złożyłem reklamację i otrzymałem je po 3 dniach lecz było nie kompletne i pewna rzecz była pęknięta. Zrobiłem zdjęcia i wysłałem je prosząc o wysłanie mi rzeczy brakującej i całej części w zamian za pękniętą. Kazano mi wszystko odesłać z powrotem. Ja nie chciałem zwracać tego lecz dostać rzecz brakującą i całą z które zapłaciłem i to mi się nie podoba że tak ze mną postąpiono

try contacting customers and explaining why their order was cancelled before just issuing a refund with no explanation as to why and no reply to customers queries i have spent £100s on you fishing stuff but i can safely say i will not be spending an other penny on your website

We have reviewed this situation and we see that our team contacted you on July 13th informing you about the reason why the order was cancelled and refunded. We also see that you contacted them asking about the order on the 14th and they replied to your email on the 17th explaining that they sent you the email on the 13 and added the explanation once again. very poor dispatch time , tell lies about orders stating its been despatch even stating a tracking number . when it was still in there wearhouse. then giving an excuss about the Rod being to big to ship to the UK, unbelieveable statement. Will never use this company ever again .

dissapointing

ordered items on buy one get one free promotion, 3 days later got an email theyre out of stock, unable to contact them for another week, after this the advisor was unable to offer me any solution other than wait 2-3 weeks or get a refund. Really dissapointing

Built and marketed on a subterfuge.

They use an English name and have a .uk website but they are based in The Netherlands. Delivery times to the U.K. are derisory I ordered on the 22nd of April and am still waiting! (05/05/2023). If they were honest I might not be so scathing but they are not.

However, we also depend on the couriers and when they have problems, then that affects our parcels as well. When you experience any problem with the parcel, it is necessary to contact our team and they will follow the process, depending on the situation, to fix things the fastest way possible. Part of the process, is to contact the couriers and get more information regarding the parcel so then we can find the best solution. This sometimes take between 10-14 working days depending in the courier. Of course we will always find a solution for you as we want our customers to be happy with their order and us. If you have not already contacted our team, please do so so that they can start enquiring with the courier about your shipment. Poor shipping and complications

I’m still waiting for my rod to turn up after 3 weeks and find it very difficult to get a response from the company about where my order is or why it hasn’t turned up yet!

Listen to customers to improve your standards

Problems with order again. Poor packaging with minimal effort resulting in boxes coming open and contents compromised. Heavy contents should require more attention to sealing the boxes properly to protect the integrity of the contents. Having to chase up missing or out of stock items on most orders to try and get a refund or redelivery, and longer than average delivery times.

Unfortunately, after giving the parcels to the courier, they do not contact us if there are delays or problems with the parcels, therefore the only way for us to know the parcel is missing or delayed is hen the customer contacts us about it. Regarding the packaging, we are already working in finding better ways to pack and send the orders to avoid damages during transportation, however, there is always a small chance that due to the lack of careless the couriers have with the parcels this ones suffer some damages. ordered ultimate 3 rod pod, didn't come with back rests, so ordered them. as it was a 3 rod pod, seem to me the back rest to accompany the rodpod would also come in 3's. had many discussions with one staff member who fin ally came up with I only ordered 1, why would I do that for 3 rods. No common sense, if they came singly that should have been made clear.

Order still not arrived. Was not aware when ordered that the items were shipped from The Netherlands & was given a delivery time of 2 to 5 working days so gifts would have arrived in time for Christmas. Customer Service reacted quickly with a response but site should have reflected the issues with the NL postal service. I now have a disappointed husband :(

The worst service, I was lied to about my order I was told I would get it within 2/7 days which never happened and it never left there country as they are not in the uk the staff are so rude and petty and think they can treat you like a child

never actually received the net bag i ordered well disappointed so who was at fault fishdeal or the courier company so in my opinion i am very concerned as to weather to purchase future gear will i ever receive the items

The item looks good and a lot bigger than expected. Delivery was bad, and the box was sodden wet. I had to put the calander on radiator to dry out. He was very rude and said sorry the van was flooded!!! Wouldn't use again.
