My experience with fishdeal has been excellent, i purchased reels and spare spools at very competative prices (by far the cheapest anywhere I looked). Postage was free and fairly quick, (I ordered on a sunday night and they arrived by tracked courior Saturday morning, thats 6 days from the Netherlands to the UK) I think that is pretty good considering I was notified it could be longer due to heavy work loads at the warehouse. The reels are very good quality from a well established company and were well packaged. What`s not to like. Despite all the negative feedback from other customers, I would buy from them again, without hesitation

Zamówiłem po rez kolejny rzeczy z fishdel zamówienie zostało opłacone i miało być dostarczone od 2 do 5 dni roboczych. Minęło 7 dni roboczych i nie dostałem swego zamówienia więc złożyłem reklamację i otrzymałem je po 3 dniach lecz było nie kompletne i pewna rzecz była pęknięta. Zrobiłem zdjęcia i wysłałem je prosząc o wysłanie mi rzeczy brakującej i całej części w zamian za pękniętą. Kazano mi wszystko odesłać z powrotem. Ja nie chciałem zwracać tego lecz dostać rzecz brakującą i całą z które zapłaciłem i to mi się nie podoba że tak ze mną postąpiono

Good Products Poor Service

Delivery was very slow I know it is Christmas but the time the product spent in the Netherlands was excessive. There was no updates from Fishdeal until I started chasing. The only information was it had been shipped in the Netherland but not received by Evri over a period of 2 weeks. When i chased it came very quickly. Packaging was poor 4 bank sticks and a reel in its unprotected box in a low quality cardboard box with no packing not even some old newspaper. The outer box already had an hole in it I suspect from the bank sticks moving around its a wonder the whole thing had not disintegrated.

Delivery time to the UK is absolutely shocking

I've ordered from here few times now. I find they have good products and at reasonable prices. The issue is delivery! If you live in the UK and order something from fishdeal make sure you order well in advance, you may be waiting for 3 or more weeks for your stuff to actually be delivered! I always get anxiety ones my payment has been submitted because I simply have no idea when or if my order will arrive. The carrier evri used by fishdeal is useless and I think hurting the business. After 3 week I still await my order. I'm highly unlikely to use fishdeal again purely for this reason.

Very Poor Courier

The problem with using Fishdeal is their courier choice. It is worth noting that goods come from mainland Europe. The courier they use is Hermes/Evri who from experience are very poor. My first order went missing, probably stolen. The replacement order some two weeks later arrived in a very battered and selotaped up box. I think I will have to stick to UK based online retailers in future. You also have to spend £100 for free pp. Their customer service is very good though, which is what you want when things go missing.

Sold me a reel not in stock cancelled the order telling me there was a refund due then didn’t refund telling me it’s dispatched. Not a good service you don’t know what your doing I will avoid next time I buy

Pack your goods better please. Don't use Evri ... they are awful. They leave your goods on the doorstep. I'm lucky it wasn't stolen. Try replying to these comments.

Shocking service

State 2-5 days delivery, but state delays when order placed, and it was much longer, and missed a birthday because of this; customer service defended timing because "I'd been informed with the order acknowledgement' - no apology though. Site gives the impression they're in based UK but are actually based in Holland. Packaging literally 3 times bigger than it needed to be. Very poor

Listen to customers to improve your standards

Problems with order again. Poor packaging with minimal effort resulting in boxes coming open and contents compromised. Heavy contents should require more attention to sealing the boxes properly to protect the integrity of the contents. Having to chase up missing or out of stock items on most orders to try and get a refund or redelivery, and longer than average delivery times.

Unfortunately, after giving the parcels to the courier, they do not contact us if there are delays or problems with the parcels, therefore the only way for us to know the parcel is missing or delayed is hen the customer contacts us about it. Regarding the packaging, we are already working in finding better ways to pack and send the orders to avoid damages during transportation, however, there is always a small chance that due to the lack of careless the couriers have with the parcels this ones suffer some damages. Unhappy

Order took to long. No communication unless I followed up. Package came and rod wasnt even properly packaged against breakage. Reel box was so damaged from improper packaging i had to throw it away. Fishdeal also stick with Evri couriers which is a total disaster. Again my package was delivered to the wrong address and I had to go look for it

Undelivered

I do understand that this is not the issue of the supplier and more the delivery company but the parcel was never attempted to be delivered as it was too big to fit in the delivery vehicle, now to be more specific I’m not too sure how a rod bag wouldn’t fit in the back of a car or van as I’ve travelled with rods and cases much larger

Ordered and payd for a fishing rod needed for an upcoming trip, then after 4 days I contacted customer service to ask when is going to be posted, and assured will be done soon. Hour later got money refunded as my address is on Isle of man, even though the postage charge was different from UK mainland. Disappointed

On top of that, we only receive the notification of the address problem when we are about to print the shipping label. Normally, you get a notification before you place the order, however, it seems that your postcode was not known by our system and therefore it created a problem. Still waiting…

Ordered from them online specifically as stated fast shipment 3 to 5 days. Still haven't received items even after chase up and a second promise of items being with me by end of week (last week!) Evri still saying they haven't even received them yet.

The item looks good and a lot bigger than expected. Delivery was bad, and the box was sodden wet. I had to put the calander on radiator to dry out. He was very rude and said sorry the van was flooded!!! Wouldn't use again.

Very slow delivery

I ordered a fishing box and it took ages to arrive. After 5 days of waiting I ordered a similar box from another supplier and it arrived the day after I ordered it and one day before the box from Fishdeal finally turned up.

Order was sent back to sender and when I was expecting them to re send it to me I was told all items were out of stock this whole thing took nearly 2 weeks and I still haven’t received my refund not happy

When a parcel is return to sender, the courier does not notify us about this and the only way for us to know is when the customer contacts us about asking for the parcel. Unfortunately, returned parcels can take some time to arrive and be process by our team, therefore shipping the same parcel is not possible. My first ever order was damaged and my second order had parts missing. I think coming from Holland, I believe is too far and liable to interference/damage along the way.

Hi, Thank you for your review. When an order cannot be sent in one parcel, we split the order in 2 or more orders to avoid damage to the products or parcel. When this is done, you receive an email for each parcel shipped and its tracking information. We also ship them at the same time, however, it is possible the courier separates them during the shipping process, therefore, they could be delivered at different moments. Slow dispatch

It took them 4 working days to buy a tracking number. Poor packaging as well. I've had items coming from China arriving in a similar timeframe.
