I was initially worried when I realised , having already placed my order, that the company was based in the Netherlands! However, I needn't have worried at all. When I emailed to check about possible extra customs charges they replied promptly and reassured me that these are covered by the courier. I was very impressed with their response time to my query, the great prices and quality of the products and the tracked, fast delivery which kept me informed by email and gave me a specified time slot on the day of delivery. (I received 2 separate deliveries as my order was split) Great company - I will definitely use them again!

Ordered three Fox Eos 12,000 reels an opening two reels seem to be new but The third had greasy fingerprints and bait on it The line was still attached and and the bail arm was bent someone swapped my new reel for this one also the second rule the end to reverse was broken I informed Fishdeal Who said they would consider sending me a returns sticker that was over a week ago and I’ve still heard nothing from them One good Real out of three and it seems that I feel that I should not be allowed to exchange them absolutely no customer care whatsoever so disappointed my advice is to stay clear of this company effectively someone in the packing room has stolen my reel And this company still can’t do me the courtesy of changing or even apologising for what’s going onAlso I made eight orders on the same day to different companies and this one was over a week later than all the others poor poor poor

Rod was slow to arrive when it did arrive due to poor weak packing the tip was broken, as I wanted to use it and had been waiting already I fixed it myself. I would suggest that when being sent abroad that u need to increase your packaging to withstand the stresses of delivery. But very pleased with the rod anyway .

I tried several times over a three day period, to contact the company with regards to returning a package I received which was not suitable, ( my mistake ordered wrong size) Finally received return details, and sent package back, now awaiting my refund!!!

Poor communication and slow. I've ordered from Fishdeal twice, lured by the cheap prices. The first time the order was massively delayed without any explanation. The second time although the money was taken from my card the order was not received nor acknlowdged. It took several days for a reply to my query, and several emails later to get a refund. No apologies and left me struggling to get my son's Christmas present on time. Also the first email I got was in Dutch and had a different reference number to the English version that arrived shortly afterwards. Not conducive to confidence. I shan't order from them again despite the low prices.

Placed an order for 5 separate items because I had a fishing trip planned. About 5 days after this I get confirmation that 1 item is on its way but the other 4 aren’t because they don’t have some of it in stock. They email me asking if I want anything else in which I reply straight away with what I want. I get no answer back for a week after this and have to ring them to get a refund. No apologies, no compensation. So I waited 12 days just to get a refund and 1 part of my order. Just go your local fishing shop and most of the stuff is the same price and this isn’t worth it.

Track your own shipments and don’t leave it to customers to keep chasing you !! I should not have to chase up deliveries - you should know when things arrive by Hermes or whoever. You should be contacting customers to see if their stuff has arrived in time. I’m still eating after 14 days (11 working) have paid 5.95 for a five day service.

Yeah nothing to state item was coming from overseas when ordering. 2 weeks later item still isn't even in the country. Asking for reviews before I've even received the item. So here it is. I wouldn't purchase anything from you again. I wouldn't recommend you and I wish I'd never ordered from you.

My item has not arrived, it looks like the item was returned back to Fish Deal without us knowing. No communication or message as to why there has been such a delay. It was a birthday present for someone's birthday on 15th, ordered it early as I thought it would take 2-5 business days.

Really disappointed that my new rod turned up in a battery cardboard box very lucky to have received it in one piece come on fish deal you can do better than that at least use carbaord tubes your a leader in tackle l will loo elsewhere in future for rods

Ordered a rod, the packaging was awful, surprised it wasn't broken as the box was nearly bent in two, only brown paper around the end of the rod, the rest was rattling around inside
