My experience with fishdeal has been excellent, i purchased reels and spare spools at very competative prices (by far the cheapest anywhere I looked). Postage was free and fairly quick, (I ordered on a sunday night and they arrived by tracked courior Saturday morning, thats 6 days from the Netherlands to the UK) I think that is pretty good considering I was notified it could be longer due to heavy work loads at the warehouse. The reels are very good quality from a well established company and were well packaged. What`s not to like. Despite all the negative feedback from other customers, I would buy from them again, without hesitation

Zamówiłem po rez kolejny rzeczy z fishdel zamówienie zostało opłacone i miało być dostarczone od 2 do 5 dni roboczych. Minęło 7 dni roboczych i nie dostałem swego zamówienia więc złożyłem reklamację i otrzymałem je po 3 dniach lecz było nie kompletne i pewna rzecz była pęknięta. Zrobiłem zdjęcia i wysłałem je prosząc o wysłanie mi rzeczy brakującej i całej części w zamian za pękniętą. Kazano mi wszystko odesłać z powrotem. Ja nie chciałem zwracać tego lecz dostać rzecz brakującą i całą z które zapłaciłem i to mi się nie podoba że tak ze mną postąpiono

Fishdeal.co.uk? Sounds like they should be in the UK, but guess what my order was sent from the Netherlands also took best part of 3 weeks to arrive, also DPD delivery left in a bin, with box already open and rummaged through. Enough for me to realise I won't use them again

Bad logistics

Took multiple working days to get item to courier despite customer service insisting it was already with the courier I have the PostNL tracking to show this. Package was damaged in transit no communication from the company left to investigate myself. Lost two and a bit weeks in the end didn’t get my item they were unable to ship a replacement. I have given 2 stars since at least the refund processed quickly after.

Since we are based in the Netherlands, some of our couriers work with third parties in the UK to deliver the parcels and their tracking informations might not be updated correctly. When a parcel is damaged, the courier will not let us know of this, leaving us with the idea that the parcel is on the way correctly and, unfortunately, the only way for us to know of this is when the customer contacts us about it. Most of the time we offer to send a product in case the parcel was damaged and returned to us, however, in some cases it is not possible due to unavailability. Ordered a boilie throwing stick weeks ago. Still hasn’t been delivered. Very disappointed as this was a birthday present for my grandson. Ordered lots of things from fishdeal. Never had problem before.

Two poor experiences in two orders.

Sorry to give a mean score, but two times out of two I have had rather disappointing experiences. The first time, I had specifically ordered (and even paid for) a chair, only to be told this wasn't actually in stock. Another item in the same order was also very low quality and broke right away. More recently, I decided to give another chance (I like the products and prices) but again there was an issue. I was surprised at how weak the packaging was- or the couriers had been very rough! The box was broken and some items had fallen out- and while they were replaced, this meant I got my goods very late. I am amazed the rod survived, given that the box was very badly damaged! I really hope there is no hidden damage because I don't want to have to ask for a replacement. Again, I like the products and prices, but from my experience the packaging is suspect and some of the items have either not been offered as shown.

Hi, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you have had bad experiences in our shop. From our side we do or best to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered correctly. However, sometimes we run into stock errors causing products not being in stock in the location of our warehouse but in stock in the system. Regarding the damaged parcel, we are now taking this directly to the couriers we work with. Normally if you receive a damaged parcel, we suggest to contact us right away with pictures so that we can log it into the system and place the correct claim. Never on time.

I have had a couple of items from here and they have never been within the timeframe they state for delivery. I am actually looking to buy my items from elsewhere moving forward as the discount doesn’t outweigh bad delivery service.

Our delivery time is 2 -5 working days if unexpected delays with the couriers do not occur. The order you placed at the end of January was delayed due to our moving to a new warehouse, which is now completed. Delivery time to the UK is absolutely shocking

I've ordered from here few times now. I find they have good products and at reasonable prices. The issue is delivery! If you live in the UK and order something from fishdeal make sure you order well in advance, you may be waiting for 3 or more weeks for your stuff to actually be delivered! I always get anxiety ones my payment has been submitted because I simply have no idea when or if my order will arrive. The carrier evri used by fishdeal is useless and I think hurting the business. After 3 week I still await my order. I'm highly unlikely to use fishdeal again purely for this reason.

Shocking service

State 2-5 days delivery, but state delays when order placed, and it was much longer, and missed a birthday because of this; customer service defended timing because "I'd been informed with the order acknowledgement' - no apology though. Site gives the impression they're in based UK but are actually based in Holland. Packaging literally 3 times bigger than it needed to be. Very poor

Unhappy

Order took to long. No communication unless I followed up. Package came and rod wasnt even properly packaged against breakage. Reel box was so damaged from improper packaging i had to throw it away. Fishdeal also stick with Evri couriers which is a total disaster. Again my package was delivered to the wrong address and I had to go look for it

Undelivered

I do understand that this is not the issue of the supplier and more the delivery company but the parcel was never attempted to be delivered as it was too big to fit in the delivery vehicle, now to be more specific I’m not too sure how a rod bag wouldn’t fit in the back of a car or van as I’ve travelled with rods and cases much larger

Ordered and payd for a fishing rod needed for an upcoming trip, then after 4 days I contacted customer service to ask when is going to be posted, and assured will be done soon. Hour later got money refunded as my address is on Isle of man, even though the postage charge was different from UK mainland. Disappointed

Ordered from them online specifically as stated fast shipment 3 to 5 days. Still haven't received items even after chase up and a second promise of items being with me by end of week (last week!) Evri still saying they haven't even received them yet.

Very slow delivery

I ordered a fishing box and it took ages to arrive. After 5 days of waiting I ordered a similar box from another supplier and it arrived the day after I ordered it and one day before the box from Fishdeal finally turned up.

When a parcel is return to sender, the courier does not notify us about this and the only way for us to know is when the customer contacts us about asking for the parcel. Unfortunately, returned parcels can take some time to arrive and be process by our team, therefore shipping the same parcel is not possible. Hi, Thank you for your review. When an order cannot be sent in one parcel, we split the order in 2 or more orders to avoid damage to the products or parcel. When this is done, you receive an email for each parcel shipped and its tracking information. We also ship them at the same time, however, it is possible the courier separates them during the shipping process, therefore, they could be delivered at different moments.
