Alpine Trek has a huge selection of gear online, and the ability to have favourites stored in your personal profile, plus if the stock is currently not available, the ability to be contacted when it comes back into the site is a bonus.

It was easy to purchase on the website, and they had all sizes available, even the most common ones, which is different to other websites. The package arrived a little late, but that wasn't a problem. Maybe communication could have been a bit better in the early stages as I wasn't sure if the package was already on its way. Overall a really good experience.

I know the delivery and returns policy are clearly outlined but it would put me off ordering again as I think it’s unfair to incur costs for an exchange because of the fit not the size There is often a significant discrepancy between one brands size and another’s I accept I ordered a Columbia gilet in large it felt more XL if not even XXL in the fit I know this is down to the manufacturer but the extra cost to exchange when I have not made a mistake has put me off ordering from you again Sincerely Peter Baxendale

Twice before I have had bad delivery experiences with you previous carrier rersulting in non-delivery. I now understand that Amazon will handle the delivery and am therefore happy and confident to order from you again.

I assumed with the .Co.uk in the name that I was ordering from the UK. However, my shoes came from Germany, taking a lot longer than goods from UK based sellers. Please make this obvious to buyers to allow a more informed choice. Goods were fine, price reasonable

This is a great coat; I really haven't been cold in it even once, and I do feel the cold; it's like putting a duvet on but one that's also a bit shower-proof! It's thoughtfully-designed coat too; the hood is really good, the pockets keep my hands warm and the magnetic closures on the wind flap are almost too efficient (as you'll find out if you stand next to something like a fridge door!) Constructive feedback is that the sleeves are not as generous in length as the rest of the coat; ok but I'd have preferred another centimetre or two. I like that it's a contrast lining & really like that it isn't stitched to the baffles at the front (so definitely no down will leak through there - not that it has at the back either) but it could be a more attractive blue? I like that there's a drawstring cord to make it snug round your waist, though my waist is a little lower - it still helps though. There are no side zips at the hem, which might make it hang a little more fashionably but the zip feels sturdy and zips both ways. Overall, I highly recommend this coat to anyone looking for a coat that's really effective and should last many, many years. I am no longer afraid of winter in the UK; thank you Stoic!

When I placed my order it was with Alpine Trek UK, this may seem petty but my order was received and dispatched from Europe meaning with a weekend seven days for delivery. The tracking info was zero until the carrier told me my parcel was received in the UK and being delivered. I didn't know about the five to seven day delivery until after my order was placed. I am pleased with the shoes i ordered and were as expected.
