Have used Alpine Trek on many occasions and they have always provided me with a good service, very friendly people and they always keep you informed on your delivery status. I have had to return items a couple of times and (because of size issues) and their returns process is very effective, and I’ve have never had a problem. Alpine Trek keep their prices very competitive, and that is another reason why I continue to use them

Alpine Trek says .co.uk but it’s Germany? Had to wait for my order to come from Germany and get through customs! It’s the same for my returns so it’s taking forever to get my refund as my return is stuck with customs! I’ve got nothing against Germany but it’s just the fact it is assumed your items are coming from the UK when it’s .co.uk!

However, our company headquarters and logistics center are based in Germany, which is why orders and returns are shipped from and returned to there.

Really pleased to find this ladies fleece top in such a beautiful colour and design, I had not heard of the brand before, Vaude, but I was very impressed with the quality and stylish fit.

The team are only an email away, good response times to enquiry. Delivery takes 3-4 working days as shipping from Germany, but always on time stated. Refunds can take up to 1 month but a good company to use for Ski equipment.

Very disappointed to see Alpinetrek using Amazon for it's deliveries given their record in environmental damage and exaggerated claims of its mitigation . Also, Amazon's treatment of its workers is notoriously poor. Using Amazon's services suggests Alpinetrek are not bothered by this. It's a shame as Alpinetrek should be promoting minimal harm to the environment yet uses a.company who consistently damages the environment and consistently avoids paying its fair share of taxes suggests otherwise. Lost a customer.

We"re happy to see that sustainability is important to you!
Unfortunately we are limited in the choice of carriers for our parcels.
We"ve further developed and improved our climate protection strategy, but we can no longer describe ourselves as "climate neutral". In future, we"ll stop using the term "climate-neutral company" and instead focus more on our own initiatives.
Rather than investing in compensation projects, we will support climate protection projects that enable the binding and storage of CO2 from the atmosphere, as we believe this is a more effective way to help combat the climate crisis.
That"s why the statement "we are climate neutral" has disappeared from our communication.

Package had troubles cleaning uk customs so arrived over a week late.
Alpine trek sent me a good will gesture £20 voucher which I used on an amazing pair of ski gloves. The gloves had no issue and arrived on time. All in all great value for money and a good company, will use again in the future.
Patagonia down sweater
Ordered a Patagonia down sweater as a replacement for a 12 year old one that had gone a bit bald! I was kept informed of delivery details all the way by both Alpine Trek and Amazon eu. There was a slight delay in delivery (it took just over a week) but arrived well packaged and exactly as described. Delighted with purchase at a great price.
My first choice when looking for outdoor clothing!
I love this company, i have had numerous purchases from them over the years. If I required an exchange or return it was done easily and efficiently. Their range of sports goods are amazing and prices are always good.
Sportiva insoles
Always a great, efficient service. Not sure I ordered the right Sportiva insoles as I lost the old ones. The shoes are known as climbing boots but can also be used as walking boots. They seem to fit ok. Just the usual didficulty with internet shopping when you can't see items in person, but could always the way with the internet but could always

I used to buy Brasher but they got taken over by another company and the last pair I had only lasted a few years so was disappointed with them, a friend recommended I try Scarpa so I thought I’d give them a try. The boots arrived on time and from the first time I wore them they were very comfortable. I have worn them in anger for long walking treks and they haven’t let me down, even in long wet grass. I have just cleaned and polished them after a long hard walk in the Yorkshire Moors and they have come up a treat. The order was dealt with very quickly and I was kept informed of the delivery dates. Overall very pleased.
