As a first time customer I found the site user friendly , clear and easy to navigate.
I changed my plans to be available for DHL delivery slot as a signature is required. I received a mobile message stating delivery had been made. I saw the van driver drive off, without ringing my doorbell or leaving any message. I eventually got through to DHL on my 3rd attempt, then discovered my wine dumped at the side of my house. Not impressed.
I ordered a vintage bottle of port as a gift for a retirement party. Unfortunately, this company uses a poor courier service and despite ordering the product a full week before it was needed and paying for express 1-2 days delivery, the port did not arrive in time. I pleaded with the company to send a replacement so that I had the gift in time but they refused, saying it needed to be returned by the courier or reported lost before they would refund me. They did agree to refund me eventually but too late to find a replacement gift prior to the party.

Highly efficient and fast service
I ordered a vintage port in a celebration box with a personal message for a friend’s big birthday on a Friday lunchtime and it could have been delivered by courier the next day, Saturday. As it was my friend’s birthday on the Monday, it was delivered before 12 noon that day which was perfect and he is extremely delighted with his present although he’s not tasted it yet. I’m sure it will be superb as the 1963 vintage appears to be a real benchmark year. Thanks very much for such a professional and prompt service. Highly recommended.

Impressive range of vintage ports
The impressive range of vintage ports and the useful information provided on each were both highly satisfactory. The web interface, contrary to the spirit of the age, was easy to use and seems not to have been designed by chimps. The one drawback (and reason for dropping a star) was that I was compelled to pay using Paypal, as the credit card option, which I would strongly prefer, returned a 505 error.

An amazingly good company offering so many 'special' wines and ports!
I was hoping to find a fine wine, affordable for me, for a 25th Anniversary. I had almost given up when I came across this Company. I found a perfect 1998 wine which I knew would be very pleasing to the recipients. The service was first rate. I received it very quickly even though it was Christmas holiday time. So impressed and will look first at this great company for gifts in future.

VW&P - masters of their class
Truly delighted to have stumbled across VW&P!
I have long enjoyed Port, but I fell into the trap of only buying the 'well known' brands from high-street dealers. However, VW&P has opened my eyes to the vast selection of other Port brands, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the delight of discovering new Ports from the many different, but lesser known Houses.

I was choosing a gift for a 50th birthday and managed to decide on a 1973 bottle of wine. I ordered and 24hours later it arrived. It was safely packaged and nicely gift wrapped with a printed greeting message.There was also a description of the wine attached. Im sure the receipent will be pleased with his gift. I would order from this company again.

The customer support was absolutely amazing! I got a reply right away based on our different time zones! Very informative and helpful! The shipping was amazing as well! It came very carefully packaged and within a week of my purchase. I live in the US so it could've taken it awhile to get here.

Good selection of affordable vintage wines and ideal for that special present. Wine arrived quickly and very well packed.
I have only given 'good' feedback on the quality of the goods as it has yet to be opened and drunk! The bottle and cork condition however appears excellent.
