Polar Pro 2

The review on the Polar Pro 2 was what sold the watch. The delivery from France to the UK was reasonably fast (2 days), but the delivery from Royal Mail was poor. I received a an email it would be delivered on the Friday and I patiently waited, only to receive a further email stating they had tried to deliver but it appeared no one was home, I didn't receive the watch till the Monday.

Good products selection. Poor customer service.

This specific transaction was seamless and fuss free. The choice of products is excellent. The experience when something isn't right with the order is what let's this retailer down. A theft security tag left on an avalanche bag, a defective pair of bibs where I was asked to provide video evidence of the defect. Neither dealt with in a meaningful time frame or to a satisfactory level when compared to other retailers.

Excellent products, swift delivery BUT

Excellent products and swift delivery, BUT impossible to contact their Customer Services. After experiencing difficulty with a corrupted returns label file generated through their returns portal, a contact form was completed 5 days ago to which no reply has been received. The form guarantees a response in 2 days. I have held in a queue on their premium customer service telephone number for over 15 minutes before being told due to the extended delay the call was being cut off. I'm not sure what else to try, but with a £338.90 refund due I will not be giving up. This experience would make me extremely nervous about ordering again, unless I can be sure the entire order will be kept.

Great Prices and Speeding delivery from Eu to UK

This is the second time I ordered something from these people and it ahs been a smooth experience so far. It still takes around a week or less from order to receiving my order but coming from EU and no hidden custom fee make it a breeze. Some other site are not very clear on their pricing (no names mentioned) so you end up with a surprise customer and admin bill but not with these guys so you instantly know if you are getting a good deal or not. Luckily I have never had to do a refund yet which might be where most of the other negative reviews stems from as it can be tricky to send the item back to another country and people trying to ask questions to someone whop speaks a different language.

Fabulous except for Evri

Fantastic customer service but lot one point for having Evri as the only courier option in the UK. We don’t usually buy from stores that only use Evri but my Son and his GF wanted this particular Osprey bag for their trip around the world starting in January and Snowleader had the style they wanted so we nervously ordered. Evri as usual made the delivery extremely stressful, the bags nearly didn’t arrive because they damaged the package but fortunately the bags finally arrived Christmas Eve after numerous calls/ chats. Natalie from Snowleader kept on top to the issue and followed up where needed. She was fabulous, friendly and professional. Like I said, would have been five star customer service if there was the option to use other UK couriers.

Amazing

I highly recommend this shop! The shoes arrived very quickly, they are beautiful and, most importantly, very comfortable. The quality is great and exactly what I expected. The price was also very attractive and competitive, which is a big plus. I have no complaints about the customer service – everything went smoothly and exactly as expected. Apprehensive due to heading skiing soon

I had never used Snow Leader before so not sure they would be able to deliver on time, but Trust Pilot reviews seemed ok so decided to give them a go. Not disappointed, everything arrived quicker than I was expecting which was great so looking forward to the trip without worrying the kit wouldn’t arrive before I leave. Gear also as advertised so full marks Snow leader. The only thing I would mention would be Everi, 0 points as usual. Snow leader’s policy is you must check everything before you accept and sign, however I was out when the delivery arrived and according to Everi I apparently sign for, not sure how that works as I didn’t. The parcel was also left in a bin at the back of the house. Picture attached. Not Snow Leaders fault, but think you need to be aware about the level of service you are getting from your preferred courier.

Great winter sports products and great special lines at special discount - the Zoe’s Favourites happened to line up with my favourites - all good 👍🏻 One change to make the service better for a UK purchaser would be to reduce the (already good value) shipping costs on v small packages ….if possible? Would make purchase decisions easier for smaller size/value items.

Fjallraven Jacket

Fjallraven jacket as described and arrived in a timely manner. I'm very happy with the jacket so far. Evri drop box worked well. I would have given a rating of 5*; however, when purchasing the jacket I was offered a 5% discount if I signed up for Snowleader's newsletter. I assumed (so possibly my fault) that this would be applied automatically at check out, however, an email was sent separately containing a discount code - but I'd already bought the jacket.

Clear communication, and highly competitive pricing.

The obvious draw to Snow Leader is the quality of products and competitive pricing. Being UK based, I'm always wary of ordering from abroad, however this is the second time I've ordered from Snow Leader for multiple items. The checkout process clearly states when the items will be available, and when delivery is likely, allowing you to plan for your adventure. The items I ordered actually arrived 2 days earlier than anticipated, they were well packed and the product was exactly as described. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend using Snow Leader, as long as they don't need anything next day.

To be honest this is not the first time I have ordered from SnowLeader. I live in the UK and I know they are base in France. But they have some really good deal and a fantastic costumer service. Delivery arrived with Evri for the UK and well protected. I am please with the ski and poles I bought from them. So if you live in the UK don't be afraid to order from them. It is good value for money compare to lot of our local shop here. Bon ski les amis!

Good price on skis BUT!

Good price on skis, bought two pairs and ordered adjusted bindings for the same pair of ski boots, (sole length 295), both pair's Atomic skis with the exactly the same bindings - arrived with 3 different adjustments for boot sole length over the 4 bindings! There could only be ONE correct setting. TECHS. Check your settings - this is a safety issue. Managers - check your techs. Otherwise good price, good delivery times.

Started great, went down hill, finished off Ok

The products you sell are great. Post sale customer service needs some attention, the delay in responding to emails is unacceptable. Explaining to customers that their return is actually been sent back to France and not the UK as the postage label suggests would be a good starting point. When I eventually got to chat with an employee at Snowleader everything went smoothly. From the date I returned my items to the day I was 'fully' refunded it took 21 days. I don't understand why I was refunded in 3 separate payments when all items returned were bought under the same order??

Easy company to deal with, though sometimes a bit slow to respond to emails. Also, despite the fact they use Evri and many customers have had so many problems with them, my items arrived as scheduled - though it has to be said, our local Evri courier is great, so as long as the goods get to her we'll get them. But great product at always a great price and I will check their website whenever I'm buying outdoor gear in future.

Good company to deal with

I ordered a pair of Black Crows Ski’s which were at a great price and arrived in the uk quickly, they were packaged really well. I’ve purchased from Snowleader a few times and would recommend.

Shopping experience was very good. Fast and efficient delivery of a pair of skis. Very good price too on current seasons model. Could have been slightly more protected in the packaging as box was holed above each binding but the skis were undamaged. Discount code for first order (£5) initially worked but then didn’t which was annoying but a minor difference on an otherwise great price.

Best Price on the Net !

Great board, best price i could find on the web with a bonus of a free board bag, purchased from snowleader before so that speaks for itself. Having loyalty points awarded is good too. I always check snowleader out when buying bigger items. Took a while to get here, packing could be better by the time it got to be delivered to my door the box packaging was very beat up and torn but checked the contents out and luckily it was intact, no damage. Terrible service - unbelievable what ive been through

I made an order for a size 9 Puez Winter Mid Ptx M Golden Brown/Black. This was originally for around GBP 90 so i though a good price. Now, wait for it. They use EVRI, so massively skeptical at this point but worth a try. Given EVRI are known to be the worst courier company in Europe. I requested it to be sent to the local post office for collection. Of course EVRI tried to deliver out of hours, TWICE. Then they reported they had sent it back to the seller! I told Snowleader to ask them to send to my home address, but they took too long and this could not be effected. Snowleader then said i gave the wrong local post office address - which was impossible given i had to select the address! Next i message Snowleader on the web chat to see whats going on but of course u get an AI chat bot who basically had me chase my tail until i got hold of a person i culd actually chat to. Meg said they would issue me a voucher to honor the price i paid originally. This has not been forthcoming despite relentless chasing - they have said its with management. Of course they dont want to honor it as the current price is GBP 175 so im guessing by going quiet they think the issue has gone away. Ive since had to report them to my credit card company to failure to delivers good/service ive paid for and its a shame its had to go down this route. I'm having to order else where now that may get me what i want. I hope no one else has had this issue. The management team, if they exist do not want to deal with issues like this - its out of their box. I've been advised to also raise a GPDR request
