The difference between good business and complacent / just cruisin’ business is not the lack of problems, but how these problems are handled. I had quite a few (too many for my liking) hiccups with Snowleader in 2023, but my previous experience in earlier years was perfect. Ordered kids skis and adult women’s skis on Black Friday 2023. Kids skis arrived to London. Tracking for women’s skis shows that courrier (Evri) has not even picked them up from sender yet. As a result I needed to wait 2 weeks before they do anything (refund or resending skis). 2 weeks later - they acknowledged that package was lost. I asked them can you please resend the same skis. They said this was impossible and refunded the skis. I then had to place a 2nd order, and pay additional delivery fees (which later got refunded upon emailing customer services). I then made an error when ordering my adult women wife’s skis - I entered sole length 255mm (instead of 25.5 MP) size. They had a complete common sense failure and they *actually drilled the skis for this 255mm size* which cost me £60 in London to re-drill. (Snowleader partially refunded this) For context for readers - the order was for adult woman skis (25-50 years selected on the website) and 25.5MP boots are approx 295mm sole length. They didn’t question and drilled 255mm sole length which corresponds to ~21.0/21.5MP ski boots - my daughter had this size when she was 7 years old. Photo attached the 2 boots - the one it should have been drilled for 25.5MP and 255mm sole they actually drilled it for. The responses were slow. It seemed customer was always wrong, until customer proves he is right etc. Didn’t feel like much of customer service there.

They entice you with low prices, then charge £9.99 for delivery. Then they use Hermes/Evri. Then the driver knocks the door and drives off 5 seconds later, without using the parcel bin like he always has done in the past. This is a French company, and they seem to systematically ignore all inquiries from the UK. I was ignored then cut off on live chat! Tried to get through for over 45 minutes. And the phone number on their website is a dud. A bit like their customer service. The contact form does not work either. My parcel is now a week late and I'm not optimistic that it will rock up any time soon. Very poor comms, non-existent customer service. Snow blindness rather than snow leader. I will avoid like the plague in future.

Parcel Delivery

Parcel ordered last week Monday. Item was in stock. Meant to be 48 hr delivery but still hasn’t turned up. Evri only received Parcel yesterday on Saturday. Clicking on tracking number brings up links to Evri screen but you have to toggle between screens to enter long tracking number. You can’t cut on paste tracking number because if you click on it, it brings you directly to Evri screen. Separate the tracking number from Evri screen link so you can at least copy it.

I bought and payed for my item on the 22nd evri have only just got the item on the 28th that is 6 days it has taken you to start the delivery process plus I payed for evri 48h you took 3 times that to get my item to them I won't be buying off you ever again.

The carrier has informed us that your parcel was delivered on 28 April to the address indicated address, which is only 24 hours late. Huge delivery and packaging charges

Your delivery and packaging charges were outrageous. For a hat that cost £24.00 you added £11. That’s almost 50%. Had i not been busy and needed a birthday present quickly I would have gone elsewhere.

Snowleader had the product I wanted at a price I was prepared to pay and they delivered it quite quickly, On the improvements side, I will have to return a product. The reason for this is that despite using the size guides and measuring myself against it I ended up with a Small when I needed a Medium. Of course I only found that out when the Small arrived and I tried it on. I've yet to initiate the returns procedure but hopefully that is as smooth as the purchase.

Good for UK customers

They answered the phone quickly, helpful advice and good service all around. Their cheap return option made me chose them. Plus the fact that they sorted the import Tax and VAT when shopping from UK so no extra paperwork for customer.

Good value and good service

I was pleasantly surprised to find that my purchases arrived ahead of schedule in Easter week. I was happy with the price and quality of the items. The descriptions on the website were fair and accurate.
