Newcomer to compression wear. Whilst waiting for NHS Feb 26 appointment to demo the NHS order of Medi BS compression 2 stockings, I purchased Mediven Plus open toed tights in Jan 26. I am very happy with them as they provide much relief compared to firm support tights from high street shop. Will compare with the NHS Medi stockings when I get them in Feb.

I was nervous ordering compression sock online as I normally get them on prescription. I was deligjted when my order arrived safe and sound. I love the idea of being able to order different colours. I prefer socks as opposed wraps. I will be ordering again in a few months

I really wish you were able to order things with VAT relief online, it makes it much less accessible when you require people to phone. I work standard hours weekdays, and for me, taking time off work would cost me more than the VAT relief was. It's not very "accessible" to make it only behind your phone line.
I did also find communication on the estimated delivery time very poor. When I ordered it said the item was in stock, but when it didn't arrive after a couple of weeks I got in contact. I was told it was out of stock and that I was informed of this when ordering. But I was not, neither on the wesbite when placing, or on the order confirmation. I'm not sure if you have a bug where if multiple people are checking out at once it messes this up, or something, but it was not displayed. When I got in contact I was told due to being out of stock it would take 10-15 working days from order to arrive. It arrived after 18 working days.

Support stockings are fine but unfortunately they are not designed for the shorter user, I'm 5'3 on a good day and find them around 4 to 5 inches too long, I have the heel at the ball of my foot as the size I need can't go any higher than mid thigh due to my larger thighs, so they don't fit everyone, my GP measured my legs and wrote me a prescription for them, I just bought a second pair myself as extras, so I bought the same as my prescription.
