Myfabrics has been my go-to fabric store for many years. It's not cheap but rarely disappoints. Wonderful detailed information on sewing and caring for fabrics, much valued! Prompt attention to order and not too long to wait for delivery!
I would appreciate a full range of Gutermann sew-all thread being available and perhaps recommended thread colours being suggested with fabric details. Colours can be hard to judge from online pictures (good as they are!)

The postage is a bit high due to shipping from Germany, but this is off set by being able to purchase fabrics in increments of a metre which enables you to purchase the exact amount needed.
Most websites force you to buy in full or half meters, which results in far too much wastage.

I really love the quality of the fabric and again commend the team for providing helpful information on the manufacture and certification of the fabrics. The pictures and information are wonderfully accurate. The only things marking you down for me are :
(1) the discounts offered exclude so many fabrics that they are not really worth very much…please offer them at face value! eg 5% off jersey fabric should be all jersey fabrics, no exclusions, as it’s discouraging to get to the basket and find the discount code cannot be applied because it’s new fabric, or something else which disqualifies;
(2) delivery times and expense. I’m combining these because it seems obvious to me that the UK postage charge at checkout is much lower than the actual cost of shippping from Germany, where you are based, and so the fabrics themselves are priced very high per metre to compensate. If you are going to sell to a UK market, it would be great if you had a proper UK base. So saying, the fabrics themselves quality and provenance would probably mean I will pay more to get it.

When I first started to use My Fabrics their courier could never find me, so I stopped using them. I decided to use them again on a small piece of fabric. This time they have changed their courier and use Royal Mail in UK who always deliver. The fabric arrived in the allotted time scale. So I am using them again.
