The height of my tank read 25cm. I had 28cm space so 25cm would have been ideal. However, bit misleading, the height is 31cm in total. Wish the write-up had stayed that. My tank isn't where I wanted it to go, however, I'm very pleased with the quality, the day/night light is fantastic, night light sends my fish to sleep. The filter is really quiet, a nice, relaxing background sound. The lid is good, the little lift up part for easy feeding. My Brother took the heater as he keeps tropical, so yep, very happy. Speedy delivery, well packaged.
I purchased a filter that did not work, this was not the 1st filter of this kind I had purchased from Pro Shrimp, so I knew how to use it, however, when switched on nothing happened, tried 3 different outlets (then plugged in my phone to each to ensure the outlets were working) and tried the filter 5 times and nothing. I returned the filter at my own expense and was told it worked fine, they tried it without the filter cartridge, so who knows if the cartridge was faulty and rendered the product dead, I dont know, but it took a few emails in order to get a refund, I also purcased bio granules for this filter and returned them as they were useless without the filter but a refund was never mentioned for these or my postage cost back, despite sending proof of cost. I am out of pocket for £30 and will only get £19.99 back. Not the best experience with this company.
The packaging was excellent ….but my questions regarding my shrimps were unanswered ….after 2 days ….90% of them died and my water was excellent and professionally tested …..but I had no response from Pro shrimp ….a shame really as I was hoping it would be good .

I'll be going elsewhere.
I've bought plenty of plants from pro shrimp no problems, but my last 2 orders have been really naff. Crypts had melted before I received them and my last order of tropica crypt parva were so small I doubt Tropica would have sent them out like that. Sorry guys I won't be coming back.

Changed the order and sent without communication
I bought some tropica soil, but received dennerle. The slip in the box said dennerle too … which is not what was ordered. So clearly they changed it as tropica was also then out of stock.
I have not returned due to the hassle and others over on UKAPS forum saying it is likely the same thing overall. But that’s not the point. I wanted a particular product… hence paying money for it. To then just shrug shoulders, change the order and send it without any discussion is unprofessional.
Sadly this is my second bad experience with this store. Even being a little cheaper won’t get my business next time now.

Highly Disappointed
Ordered, plants arrived and were very damaged and just shoved in a bag not well packaged.
I contacted customer service the same day and was asked to send pics and they would refund or resend.
I heard nothing back then got an invoice for another order of plants at £0 cost out of the blue. I sent a message back saying I would like a refund as i don't have room for any more plants as I purchased new ones when the other come damaged from else where.
I have had no response and no refund.
Highly disappointed!

One plant was just a few strands held together with sponge, as soon as I placed in tank it just disintegrated, the strands were about 2 inches long; absolute rubbish.
The other plants that I paid for were so small that again they were simply not worth the cost, I can get better from my LFS!

bought two pieces driftwood at 40/60cms. Received both pieces at 26 cms. I was told that the items are generic sizes from their suppliers. Pro shrimp do not check these items for size before selling them, so you are guessing that you will receive what you pay for. When challenged on this I was told if I wanted a refund I would haqve to send items back at my own time and expense. Not good enough.

Took my order took a really long time to come with zero communication about my order like shipping updaters or expected delivery dates never answered phone didn’t reply to email absolutely shocking it’s a pity that sometimes the only place you can get certain things is here otherwise I would not touch this place with a barge pole
