Not too pleased at being sent a broken part and had to wait and extra week, but got the part eventually.
When i first ordered my part it came broken and my address wasnt fully written so it got sent to someone elses house on the block, managed to get it back to find it broken but not from the box since it war perfectly fine. Contacted support and waited a day or two for the response and got another part sent out without anymore trouble within the week, found a little bit of red gunk on it but seemed to work fine.
As for the case i got with my order it has been a good kit to get around the console and arrived completely fine
Good company, and support at the end of the day but just needs to work on their packages and cleaning parts before sending them off.
Mac Air easy IPhone SE very difficult
MacBook Air battery easy to fix and instructions are excellent. IPhone 2020 SE is very complex and fiddly. Instructions are very clear but need to state clearly that Isopropyl alcohol is almost a necessity and not included. There are no instructions on how to put it all back together other than reverse the procedures. I got information on how to fix the adhesive tabs and case seal from another website but I damaged one of the connectors on reassembly so am getting a new phone!
Ordering and installing a battery replacement kit (Samsung S23)
Ordering from the website cannot be any easier and it is seamless. I ordered a battery replacement kit for an S23, and was very easy to install by following the guides provided. Also, i recommend buying the kit, if this is your first time buy from iFixit, as the iOpener tool provided alone is worth the extra £6-7 difference. This is worth every penny spent and I will be using iFixit again.
Why upgrade your phone, if it runs fine apart from the battery? Save money, learn something new and help stop big tech companies from creating a disposable world. We need to be better.

Comprehensive kit arrived promptly
Kit arrived promptly and contained all the tools needed though seemed slightly random how the various screwdriver bits are packed.
Managed to change the battery without too much drama , instructions are ok did find the comments on each stage useful.
Such an amazing resource of instructions and guidance. The shop is really convenient with the repair sets that include both parts and tools. Customer service is excellent. The parts and tools are good quality too.
Great but instructions manual slightly mislead me
First time repairing computers, repaired two in two consecutive days. The screwdriver is of high quality but not expensive. The value provided is great for the prices. I only had one hiccup: I used the MBA M2 screen replacement manual which had 1IP Torx driver as "optional". It is not the right word, the manual says it's needed in some cases and not in some. So I didn't buy that screwdriver tip and had to reorder.
Successful battery swap MacBook Pro
Was able to revive my 12 year old but still brilliant MacBook Pro with a battery swap. It is a quality item and arrived from Germany very quickly. I found it easy to follow the instructions although didn’t remove all the other components for fear of damaging them!
I like the fact that the part was genuine and the shipping was fairly speedy. The negative points were the price and the fact that no adhesive was supplied with the battery.

The delivery was fast and the New Nintendo 3Ds XL battery works like a charm. My system is nearly 10 years old and was very slow, upon changing the battery it seems to work like a charm.

I rate the service itself 5 stars, the delivery speed, the many many MANY support documents that are very clearly marked and labelled, the parts, the community, all good.
its just that its all online, id love to come visit a store or see iFixit on shelves, id love for the price to be a bit cheaper here or there, and id love to see ifixt go further then just a repair community.
I think Theres a future in repairs, but it needs a voice, and ifixit can be that voice, but theyre so quiet! I didnt know they existed until I got into the trade.

I have had the pro tech toolkit for years and loved it. I decided to get the soldering kit as it was cordless and in a nice convenient package. Item was delivered quickly ordered on Sunday at 10pm and arrived on the thursday by midday. Solder kit comes with everything you need to solder and is all in a small package. Highly recommend
Excellent multi bit precision screwdriver kit. The screwdriver is very slick and has very smooth rotation. The bits seem like good quality so far and the options are fantastic.
Super easy battery exchange. The video was very helpful. I didn’t pull the battery tabs to release the battery, I just put tiny drops of the Isopropyl Alcohol along the side of the battery so it would work it’s way underneath to the glue and after a few minutes the battery could move freely to be lifted out. Much easier than struggling with the annoying tabs which tend to break.
Repair screen arrived on time and as described. My Pixel 7 pro is now repaired. The video guide provided by IFIXIT I used to make the repair is excellent and made the process easier. One small detail that should be included in the video is a reminder to remove the small protective plastic cover over the camera port on the screen before fitting.
Pretty good I had a bad experience but it falls on me.
Only issue I have is there didn't seem to be a list of common issues in the instructions. I ended up breaking the part unable to figure out what was wrong and then checked the reviews to find it was a common mistake that I could have avoided. It's my mistake but at over £200 it was a costly one.
