I'm still a loyal customer regardless of the things you have change on the website which, in my opinion, have been changed for the worse. For instance, now to book a flight the choice states the price as "from £..." and when you click it's a lot more expensive than you thought it was. Then, in order to look for the real price you have to go one by one instead of having the whole selection by date and real price at once of almost the whole month as it used to be. Also, now it's more confusing with the choice of light, standard and flex. If you go by the price and click on light, it tells you you cannot buy luggage at this point so you don't know how much it's going to cost you afterwards. By then, you change your first choice and look for another date or price. If you change your mind and try to go back to the first choice, invariable it is more expensive than the first time you clicked on it. I don't think you are really trying to get the best service for the customer but you do manage to confuse and alienate them.

The webpage for paying via Visa debit wouldn't load properly, so had to pay via PayPal for which there is a charge. Also, my partner booked her ticket on the App and was quoted a cheaper price than my online booking for exactly the same date and trip, how is this fair!

I had difficulty adding my travel document, passport, that was already stored in my profile. The step of selecting it seemed non obvious. Much better to invite the user to add a stored travel document in a clean and easy step. Additionally, although I had previously added my document, the name and gender was not shown. I found I had to delete and re add the information. But this was a minor problem in 2 frustrating hours trying to book a flight. Strangely enough, the Airfrance website works much better than the KLM site. I had attempted to book flights yesterday on KLM and the process failed four times with "sorry there has been an error on our end, its not been possible to complete your booking online" or similar. Switching to airfrance (swiss german version) to make the booking solved the problem. It is not the first time I have encountered problems with the KLM website. It has, in my opinion, always ranked as probably the worst airline site in the world to make a booking with, and I used to be a professional travelling regularly for business and using many different airlines over 30 years or so. In fact I just reviewed my bookings and see that despite apparently successfully re adding and selecting my valid passport information, the site still informs me I have a task to complete before my journey: Add your travel documents!!!! Grrrr.

Flight insurance worthless if >64

I took the insurance witht the flights and it was miss-selling to me. Nowhere does it tell you that you must be 64 years old or less to be able to make a claim!!! They knew full well from my passport how old I was and yet they still took the money. If I hadn't taken the trouble to read the very small print, I could have travelled uninsured. I've cancelled the insurance as you get 14 days to do that, but the refund? Nowhere to be seen. Allianz says it's not them and it must come from AF. Typical. I'm unimpressed.

Too many flights cancellations/ disruptions

Services on board is good. Customer service team is nice and helpful. But please stop cancelling or changing the flights after I buy them. Each time I make a reservation with AirFrance, I have one of my flights cancelled or disrupted. If the flights are going to be cancelled or disrupted, please don't sell them. Most of the time, the alternative flights are not suitable and I have to make arrangements to fly another day / time which is rather annoying as I usually choose a specific flight for a reason.

E ticket

At the time I completed the booking process with the confirmation of my payment from the credit card company, the e-ticket was not sent to me by email. The e-ticket did not arrive to me even after 12 hours of the booking completion so that I had to call the Air France customer service in order to obtain the e-ticket on the telephone. Now I have the e-ticket.

Change in flexibility plan is discouraging

I’ve been flying air France at least once in a quarter in the last 2 years and liked the fact that after the basic fare, the next level, I was able to pay a little more to have ticket flexible and only pay the fare difference without the £200 charge. However, the charge of £200 every step of the way until the very last level which is too pricey removes the flexibility enjoyed by your customers.

Very disappointed at Air France changing my flight to an airline I have never heard of and admitting that the service may not be up to Air France standard which we have used and loved for some time. I changed my flights to KLM which happened to be approx. £250 cheaper than the Air France flights I had originally booked but was advised that no refund would be forthcoming.

My family all live in France (my home country) so I travel there regularly and I always use Air France to Paris - from Birmingham. I have always found your website very easy to use and I have never had any complaint about any of the in-flight services you offer. I shall continue to use air France whenever I can. upgrading from business class

There are seats left in La premiere which I could book with miles but can’t upgrade to from business class with miles. I was told different information by agents on the phone about whether upgrading would even be possible. If a business booking class is unable to be upgraded from this should be clearly highlighted in the ticket info. It is not.

Nice plans & staff but too many adverts for AF on inflight entertainment screen

Too many announcements : adverts for Air France on the in flight screen . Less chat over the microphones. Get to the point and then let the passengers relax. Absolutely awful business class lounge access in Abu Dhab - horrid lounge with very poor facilities. Air planes & food etc very nice.

Online booking straight forward with great technical chat support

The booking website was fairly easy to use, with multiple flight options. The ‘chat’ service was excellent and I got a prompt, polite and very helpful response to my questions. The fare costs have increased a lot over the last three years or so, but that is the same for all airlines.

I booked one ticket for myself successfully using miles, but then the booking for my wife kept falling over mid-way. I then, as suggested, phoned up, but your representative said we would have to pay more than using the internet. We later booked successfully on the website.
