Very pleased with mower, ease of purchasing and speedy delivery by DPD. This mower was not the cheapest option but I read various reviews from different places and it came out on top. I hope it will prove as reliable as my last small electric mower (Flymo but the same model was no longer available anywhere. Time will tell. That is the problem with reviews isn't it? Performance of things like this and longevity can only be reviewed after say a year and NOT at the point of purchase!!!

Absolutely awful experience. My mower arrived with missing parts. I contacted them immediately via phone, was advised to email in, followed their instructions. They ignored emails, were difficult to get hold of on the phone, didn't take any of the action they said they were going to. After nearly a week of waiting for them to send the missing parts they still hadn't so I decided to return. Again no communication, didn't acknowledge the return, and didn't refund despite stating they would. Had to go through PayPal disputes to get my money back. Avoid these lot at all costs and go to literally any other supplier!

Fast delivery, poor follow up on issues.

Initially very impressed with the speed of delivery and with customer service response when the lawnmower I ordered was missing a bolt. Customer service responded immediately saying they would send a bolt out to me which I was happy with. The bolt never turned up and now they are not responding. In the end, I resolved it myself as I need to get the grass cut. Not what you expect when spending 100s of pounds.

Delivery issues

I’ve had to give only three stars because we had so much trouble with your delivery provider - DX. The mower was scheduled for delivery on a Thursday but did not arrive until the following Monday, and even then not at the time we were promised. We spent a number of days in the house, waiting for deliveries that never came. We had to phone DX to find out what was going on.

The petrol can was not delivered with the mower! You really do need to be able to obtain petrol with a petrol lawnmower. Just saying!!

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. You ordered a lawn mower and starter kit from us and as you will appreciate both these items come in large boxes. Unfortunately during delivery these boxes can sometimes be separated in the carrier network and arrive on different days. We could put everything into one huge box but that would require a huge amount of additional cardboard to be used (not very environmentally friendly) and it would add significant additional cost to the product which most customers won't pay for. Delivery process poor.

Invested in a ride on tractor mower and was pleased with purchase. Waited for confirmation of despatch and this happened quickly but then nothing else. Chased up with company to see when tractor would be delivered and they said that they would look into it. Received an email saying it would be despatched shortly and then courier would be in touch. None of this happened and we started to think maybe we'd been scammed. Tractor then arrived at 8am one morning without warning. Slight damage to a piece of plastic but just relieved it got here at all. Probably wouldn't buy from them again.

Part does not fit... return and refund required

The item I ordered arrived promptly, which is good. Unfortunately it does not fit my mower. I have sent an email to mowersonline (they will not answer parts enquiries by phone) with photographic evidence the part does not fit and requested a refund. As yet they have not even acknowledged receipt of my email. I will give them a few more days and then seek redress through my credit card company.

Hi, We have tried to contact you via email and we are waiting for a response from you. The gasket you have been supplied with is the correct gasket for the models listed on the product page but it is clear from the photographs you have supplied that it will not fit. In our email we asked for the serial number of the mower and the serial number of the engine (stamped onto the block). Once we have these we will speak to the techncial specialists in Mountfield to identify the correct gasket for your mower. In the meantime if you could return the incorrect gasket and we will refund your postage cost. Kind regards The Mowers Online Team

Poor communication over delivery

Ordering was very easy on line and I am looking forward to getting my new mower however apart from an order conformation have heard nothing from them, which is a bit concerting, when you have paid a lot of money. I emailed them to get an ETA for delivery and was told it takes between 1-4 days and I would get a dispatch and tracking email. These times scales have now passed and despite a follow up email t them I haven't heard anything back from them so still no mower

Lack of communication

Once placed order never heard anything for several days, I called them and they said it’d be with me in a couple of days, still nothing then chased again. Finally arrived.

Would have been 5 but it was covered in oil because the delivery driver damaged the box and broke the bottle of oil in the box

Despite all the lies to the contrary still waiting for the oil to start my lawn mower. Gave up and went out and purchased SAE30 oil. Hopeless company to deal with.

Wrong cable supplied, asked if they could supply the correct one. No sorry was the answer we can not source one! If they had looked on their own ebay listing there is the exact cable. Just a bit lazy imo. Good comms, good delivery, Item supplied was great but wrong. Shame really but that is my true view of this seller. Thanks for your reply. I suggest that your supplier has not much idea.

Mower arrived quickly after sales very poor

Mower arrived the following day good delivery found one of the books was missing also the start button was sticking phoned Mowers on line and spoke to the receptionist she said that they were out of stock and would send one when the new stock arrived , I asked about the sticking start button and would like to speak to one of the service engineers she said that he was out and would phone me on Monday I did not get a phone call so I phoned late Monday morning but could not get a reply phoned mid afternoon got no reply that was a week ago think that they could improve on there after sale

They need to improve communication.

Things I didn’t like They need to improve communication, it’s very poor, no replies to emails, no dispatch emails the item just turns up at your door, with it being large deliveries you should be informed of delivery date and time so you can make sure someone is in. I rang up and kept getting cut off when selecting the option I needed to chase up collection to a faulty mower so I rang from a different phone and got straight through. They said they were waiting for Cobra to arrange collection and estimated the next week. I rang Cobra myself and they collected the next day. Things I liked Delivery was super quick. When you got through to staff they were pleasant and polite. I ordered a totally different mower via mowers online but still awaiting the refund of the original faulty mower.

No oil received with mower

As part of the order there was a bottle of oil included in the price. I reported that this was NOT included when mower was delivered. I have since communicated several times via email to explain that the oil has still not been received. The response so far from the sales team is that it is always posted separately. Once again I have let them know nothing has been received. I also note I am not the only customer to raise this complaint. What I would like is for the oil to be received or a refund for the same.

The garden tractor arrived in good condition, there was no communication whatsoever though. I received my receipt once purchased, I had to email them 5 days later to see when delivery would be, was informed that Cobra would be in touch with delivery times which did not happen. Received a call from my wife saying a truck had just arrived out of the blue with it. Communication was very poor.
