Lafuma’s service is brilliant….but DPD’s UK delivery service is appalling. In spite of using DPD’s online delivery rescheduling service giving our friends’ address 13 houses higher up on the estate, DPD delivery drivers on consecutive days IGNORED the crystal clear instruction. As soon as I received the notification that the driver had taken the parcel back to his depot (the neighbours up the road even saw him whizz past in the van) I phoned DPD. The woman told me she would ensure the second delivery went to the specified neighbours’ address (as it was always meant to have been). To my horror the next day I received a text from the DPD driver telling me I wasn’t in (ooh really?) but that he had delivered it to a neighbour two houses away…a £250 sunlounger given to strangers….I had to ring my friends up the road and ask them to collect it from a complete stranger to them. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES OF A DELIVERY SERVICE
The items I purchsed were not as good quality as expected and therefore needed to be returned. I contacted Lafuma to arrange the return, they approved it and recommended a courier for me to use. However, according to the courier Lafuma then refused to receive the parcel and the items were returned back to me, after being in transit for nearly a month. The items (worth £500) arrived back with me damaged and I am now out of pocket trying to argue with the courier company about some compensation. I would definitely avoid purchasing directly from this company and instead use a local seller.

Still waiting for table after almost 1 month.
I ordered a table and chair on 4 July. The chair arrived and was OK. Instead of the table, I received a tray. Customer services undertook to reorder the table on 22 July, but at the moment I have no idea if this has happened. Still waiting for the table with no confidence that I will receive it.
