The delivery was in good time considering it was over the weekend, the guild was informative enough, I'm very thankful for the comments area which gave tips along the way where I guide had missed the odd bit of information and as nice little sweetener, I think you for the little packet of haribo sweets, I didn't expect that.
Overall my valve index is now fixed and working and I feel I've learn something from doing it myself.

A bottle of solvent with a nozzle is included in the kit, and I have the impression from online sources that this has been substituted for a syringe. I would urge ifixit to restore the syringe. It is necessary to cut the tip off the solvent bottle and if a clean cut and narrow opening are not created solvent drips down the nozzle when the bottle is placed upright after use. When the bottle is inverted again, solvent drips off the exterior of the nozzle and bottle onto internal components. I feared I had ruined my computer despite taking care. Otherwise, the kit was as expected, and having the requisite screwdrivers was extremely helpful.
More official parts from different companies Microsoft Sony Lg Panasonic Samsung Nintendo so it's easier for people not in the repair trade to get components so they can repair there devices easier they make it deliberately hard so the consumer has to send it back to the manufacturers or they just buy a replacement it's a win win for the company's.

Great sales service and communication.
The tool kit I bought was beautifully cased and packed.
I'm giving a 4* rating this time though as two of the smaller drive bits could have been a better made as they didn't fit the screws well.
Overall a very good experience and I'll be purchasing from Ifixit again.

Step by step instructions with pictures great.
No mention that the trackpad cable might be stuck to the trackpad pcb, or a close-up of the zif connector in its locked and unlocked positions. No mention that this cable is prone to failure and might need replacing.
Method of protecting the screen from acetone was inadequate - perhaps there was a pinhole in my foil.

I've got nothing terrible to say, I'm very happy with the service and speed of delivery, also with the quick response from customer services when I asked a question. The tiny little quibble I've got is that I wasn't emailed when my deliveries were out to be delivered. Otherwise I'd certainly order spares from these guys again.

Delivered in a few days but there is no shipment tracking provided. The email confirming shipment says 'Track your shipment to see the delivery status' but the tracking button takes you the order confirmation screen which only says the shipping method is FedEx International Priority.
