I love my beanbag but was very disappointed at needing to fill it myself from the bag of beans. I expected to open the box and have something I could sit on straight away. I was also disappointed at the assumption that I live with someone, or have someone I can ask to help me with the task, as the instructions advise against tackling the task alone. When friends come to visit I don't ask them to work. It's a good thing this is a type of seat, because after several hours spent filling it, I really needed to sit down! You gave some reasons why it's done this way, but I would rather have paid extra and had it pre-filled. You could offer this as an option.

Upon delivery, the box was left outside our 2nd floor flat. With a trail of polystyrene balls all the way through our block. The fact that this is self assembly is hidden in the features section of the product and I feel this should be highlighted more clearly on the page. The bag for our polystyrene balls was broken upon arrival and once we had put all the balls inside the beanbag, I don’t feel there is enough to fill it. So I don’t know how many had fallen out in transit, but I could count more than 100 on the trail up to our flat. I feel mislead when purchasing this. It’s a messy job and not clearly stated that it self assembly. I really hope our niece likes this and it’s worth the aggravation of putting together and apologising to our neighbours for the mess caused by its delivery. I would love to know how that bag of beans is supposed to fill the entire bean bag. It’s saggy. See pics.

The bean bag when filled it’s really nice , but having to fill it yourself is a total nightmare!! So difficult, even with two people the dam beads go everywhere… the instructions are useless… I don’t under why it doesn’t come filled … hence the 3 star rating

You have to fill them yourself!
The bean bags are nice, but having to fill them yourself is a big pain. Made a huge mess and for this price I would have expected to receive them filled. I would not buy from here again due to this.
I returned a large sofa beanbag as it was very uncomfortable and not fit for our purpose. This was also a pain as I had to empty it and dispose of all the balls. The company wanted to charge me £18 to send me a label which is very steep. Actual return with the post office cost me less than £5.

Thank you for your feedback. The price offered was for the order, but I can see there was an exception in this case and not the whole item was returned, it was just a small parcel instead, full refund was offered.

Large is still quite small
I had looked at the measurements in advance of buying but this 'large' footstool still seems quite small. How about offering a 'giant' for a properly big option? It's true that filling yourself is not too difficult, but I don't really understand why these don't arrive ready filled? I thought the How to Fill diagram might have been clearer - especially around the internal bag. I like the denim cover and its colour. I like the fact it feels so light and is easy to move around. Quite happy but not ecstatic!

Difficult to fill
The corded bean bag is nice, however trying to fill it was difficult. The first obstacle was trying to get the filling out of the huge plastic bag, the second obstacle was actually trying to fill the bean bag. Very messy. Will not recommend or buy from them again unless they come ready filled.

If you sent the bean bag filled it would have been so much better. We followed the instructions, but still lost loads of the filling and I am still finding bits everywhere!!! I will have to buy more filling. The actual bean bag chair is lovely though.

Does the job but not worth money
If we had paid full price I would of returned to be honest. No where near enough beans in so had to buy more and the finishing touches are very poor. Instead of a zip there is a paper clip ? It wasn't cheap would of expected better

I found the size description to be abit misleading. Although it’s actually bigger than a friends bean bag it feels smaller when you sit in it compared which is odd.
Also I did not like having to fill with the beans myself and had to wait 3 days for a friend to help and even then it went all over the floor.
Not sure if I’ll use it much as after a few minutes it becomes uncomfortable

Arrived very quickly but not good value
Arrived very quickly but can't believe they would really charge the full price for this. I bought it at half price and I don't think that can be called good value. It came as a cover and filling separately. It is a present so haven't put it together yet. Hoping the end result is more than the sum of the parts.

Fill it yourself
The product is nice but you have to fill it yourself, which I did not expect, especially because it is not cheap. It is impossible to fill it without spilling some beans, which go everywhere. I expected the bag to be double walled but it is not. Let's see how long it lasts...

Styrofoam beads everywhere, Price could be better
Price could be more fair, and for the price the bean bag could have a more efficient system of filling it with the styrofoam beads. I really wouldn’t have minded having it filled rather Picking up styrofoam beads is not a very easy thing to do.

OK but zip and fluff let it down
Managed to fill sofa ok with beads but was dissappointed with the zip, a proper zip pull would have been a lot easier than a bent paper clip, also a lot of fluff coming off cover. Altogether not the quality I was expecting.

I like the finished product.
However a month in and I'm still hoovering up the odd polystyrene type innards.
Honestly I would rather pay more than endure having to stuff the seemingly abyss whose holes weren't wide enough.

‘LARGE’ ????
I ordered a large footstool. The quality of the fabric was nice but if that was large I wouldn’t like to see small and I also didn’t appreciate it hasn’t been filled and you’ve to do it yourself.

Not right for me.
The product was good quality, but its just a bean bag and it wasn't very comfortable. It was a personal choice thing, I'm sure others will love it.

Filling is a nightmare
The beanbag is of good quality but doesn't come "assembled." You have to add the styrofoam balls to an empty sack and it's not easy! We had styrofoam balls all over the house.
