I'm still a loyal customer regardless of the things you have change on the website which, in my opinion, have been changed for the worse. For instance, now to book a flight the choice states the price as "from £..." and when you click it's a lot more expensive than you thought it was. Then, in order to look for the real price you have to go one by one instead of having the whole selection by date and real price at once of almost the whole month as it used to be. Also, now it's more confusing with the choice of light, standard and flex. If you go by the price and click on light, it tells you you cannot buy luggage at this point so you don't know how much it's going to cost you afterwards. By then, you change your first choice and look for another date or price. If you change your mind and try to go back to the first choice, invariable it is more expensive than the first time you clicked on it. I don't think you are really trying to get the best service for the customer but you do manage to confuse and alienate them.

The webpage for paying via Visa debit wouldn't load properly, so had to pay via PayPal for which there is a charge. Also, my partner booked her ticket on the App and was quoted a cheaper price than my online booking for exactly the same date and trip, how is this fair!

Too many flights cancellations/ disruptions

Services on board is good. Customer service team is nice and helpful. But please stop cancelling or changing the flights after I buy them. Each time I make a reservation with AirFrance, I have one of my flights cancelled or disrupted. If the flights are going to be cancelled or disrupted, please don't sell them. Most of the time, the alternative flights are not suitable and I have to make arrangements to fly another day / time which is rather annoying as I usually choose a specific flight for a reason.

E ticket

At the time I completed the booking process with the confirmation of my payment from the credit card company, the e-ticket was not sent to me by email. The e-ticket did not arrive to me even after 12 hours of the booking completion so that I had to call the Air France customer service in order to obtain the e-ticket on the telephone. Now I have the e-ticket.

Very disappointed at Air France changing my flight to an airline I have never heard of and admitting that the service may not be up to Air France standard which we have used and loved for some time. I changed my flights to KLM which happened to be approx. £250 cheaper than the Air France flights I had originally booked but was advised that no refund would be forthcoming.

I booked one ticket for myself successfully using miles, but then the booking for my wife kept falling over mid-way. I then, as suggested, phoned up, but your representative said we would have to pay more than using the internet. We later booked successfully on the website.

Poor system for responding to BACS payments.

Actually booking the tickets was easy. The problems arose with payments. I opted to pay by BACS to Air France’s partner Global Collect BV. I was told that I had to do that within 48 hours, or my booking would be cancelled. My bank was unable to authenticate the bona fides of the account number and sort code provided for Global Collect BV, but I went ahead anyway. I got no confirmation of receipt of the funds. With 8 hours to go before the deadline, I called the help desk but was on hold for a long time. I finally found the online help desk (not easy from the web site) and eventually got into an online chat. The assistant was then very helpful, and told me not to worry, as it takes 10-15 working days for the funds to come through from Global Collect, and I should contact again by 28 December if I had still heard nothing. Not a very good system!

Unprofessional customer service

I had to book my flights on the phone as there was a glitch on the company's website. The customer service centre based in India was unprofessional and rude and overcharged me. I emailed airfrance then to notify the error in the flight fare, I received a reply 3 weeks later telling me that it was too late to make any claim instead of apologising for the error of over charging me and taking 3 whole weeks to reply with a line email.

I had my payment refused three times. This was because the first time, I incorrectly entered the expiry date of my card. I corrected it, but apparently the website retained the date and continued to decline my card. I exited the site and came back 2 hours later - same result. I then phoned my bank. They advised me to change device or browser and try again. This worked. I don't have this problem on other websites.
