Order still not arrived. Was not aware when ordered that the items were shipped from The Netherlands & was given a delivery time of 2 to 5 working days so gifts would have arrived in time for Christmas. Customer Service reacted quickly with a response but site should have reflected the issues with the NL postal service. I now have a disappointed husband :(

Purchased 2 x Penn 7000 carp reels, both arrived, one faulty. Very disappointing, Fishdeal did respond with returns details. I have returned the reel for replacement but no communication as to what is happening. These items come from the Netherlands which delays delivery to UK

Was disappointed when I received my order for a 2 piece thermal suit with half of it missing. It had been opened during transit and part of it stolen. Credit to Fishdeal though they agreed to forward a replacement which I am now waiting for.

My equipment got to the local DPD delivery depot then on tracking just was marked as returning to Fishdeal. I have emailed but nobody has replied. Nothing was delivered and no delivery attempted. They have my money and I have no equipment

Order turned up damaged and part missing , improperly packaged , and still no correspondence from the seller !!!!

Didn't ship my order! I don't know why'd they not? They did credit my account back, so they didn't steal my money.

Still waiting on my parcel that was meant to arrive the 3rd of January

I've ordered two items from Fishdeal and neither orders went well. I first ordered two Umbrellas which were a very good price and a good quality, but instead of the 2 to 5 days delivery promised, it took two weeks to get to me. Fishdeal did say that it was down to the courier DPD who were having delivery problems so I gave Fishdeal the benefit of the doubt. My second order was for a Landing Net Pole. The stock level showed one in stock which I ordered immediately. Expecting it to be delivered again with 2 to 5 days I then received an e-mail 4 days after I ordered it saying that due to a stock error it was no longer in stock. Fishdeal offered a similar replacement Pole or a refund which I accepted which was deposited into my bank within 24 hours which was good. So, whilst I have been a bit unlucky with my orders, Fishdeal's prices seem to be very competitive and I would still consider buying from them again, but don't expect any order to be received within the 2 to 5 days as they promise!

Packaging, having purchased some 55kg of ground bait for my 2024 fishing campaign. this came in 3 separate boxes delivered in 2 separate consignments. Therefore the carrier had to deliver twice (false economy). a further issue was the second delivery had 2 of the bags of ground bait inside burst one was a 6.5kg bag and a 4kg bag. we estimate some 1.5 to 2,5 kg of ground bait was lost in transit. Furthermore, a flimsy cardboard box with a few sheets of crumbled-up paper dropped in does not support as packaging and the minimum usage of sellotape to close the boxes was absolutely pathetic.

Good value, goods delivered relatively quickly, I've had friends who ordered good rods and tackle, from a well known delivery company, that have had their deliverys ruined during transit on numerous occasions. I have ordered a few times from fishdeal now and have never had an issue with goods damaged during transit. Would definitely recommend and will be using again.

Goods were sent from abroad, so, not from the UK. The fishing rod arrived in a mangled box, and I was most concerned that the rod may have been damaged in the long transit - fortunately it was not. A sturdy tube would have been a far better package option, and I would be concerned about buying any delicate items from this company again.

A UK based website is a bit misleading as they are in fact in Holland. But that said the delivered on price. And communication with them wasn’t all bad. I will shop there again in the future. But will order well in advance of when I need/want my items.

You could let people know that the seller is not in the UK , because your website misled me to believe I was buying from a uk seller! when in reality it was someone in the EU .Which I would not have bought from normally .

Prices are competitive. Delivery is a bit longer, 8 days, than my experience generally on purchases from the major online retailers. So I would have no hesitation in using again particularly for Sensas purchases.

Parcel was left with a neighbour for 3 days as no card was left for me by the courier. Goods were fine but I thought the packaging was a bit over the top! anyway, thank you for the glasses which fit well.

Prices are very reasonable and some excellent offers but doesn't inundate you with emails like some sites. I'd prefer to have had it made clear that shipping was not from the UK though.

Great product but absolutley no instructions with it , struggled to put the fishing bivvy up without those instructions eventually did it , but would have liked some instructions

Well packaged, but the tracking link says the parcel didn't get collected for about 4 days which I thought was quite slow and it turned up later than expected.

Order arrived on time but packaging of rod could have been better, rod was loose in box, cardboard tube would be ideal, fortunately appears to be undamaged.

There was a missing item which was swiftly refunded which is great but stock checking should be better. Cheap price delivered quickly and problem resolved.
