My experience with fishdeal has been excellent, i purchased reels and spare spools at very competative prices (by far the cheapest anywhere I looked). Postage was free and fairly quick, (I ordered on a sunday night and they arrived by tracked courior Saturday morning, thats 6 days from the Netherlands to the UK) I think that is pretty good considering I was notified it could be longer due to heavy work loads at the warehouse. The reels are very good quality from a well established company and were well packaged. What`s not to like. Despite all the negative feedback from other customers, I would buy from them again, without hesitation

Zamówiłem po rez kolejny rzeczy z fishdel zamówienie zostało opłacone i miało być dostarczone od 2 do 5 dni roboczych. Minęło 7 dni roboczych i nie dostałem swego zamówienia więc złożyłem reklamację i otrzymałem je po 3 dniach lecz było nie kompletne i pewna rzecz była pęknięta. Zrobiłem zdjęcia i wysłałem je prosząc o wysłanie mi rzeczy brakującej i całej części w zamian za pękniętą. Kazano mi wszystko odesłać z powrotem. Ja nie chciałem zwracać tego lecz dostać rzecz brakującą i całą z które zapłaciłem i to mi się nie podoba że tak ze mną postąpiono

Never on time.

I have had a couple of items from here and they have never been within the timeframe they state for delivery. I am actually looking to buy my items from elsewhere moving forward as the discount doesn’t outweigh bad delivery service.

Hi, Thank you for your review. We have taken a look into your past orders and we see that not all you orders have arrived late. Our delivery time is 2 -5 working days if unexpected delays with the couriers do not occur. The order you placed at the end of January was delayed due to our moving to a new warehouse, which is now completed. From our side we do our best to send the orders as soon as possible and we hope the couriers have no delays. Ok, I was supplied with a defective product. The return possibility was accepted, though it will cost me £6.50. It won’t get back back to their warehouse for two weeks, so I can’t get my refund, less the £6.50, for sometime. And that in turn means I can’t buy an equivalent item elsewhere until I get the refund. I have had much better service from other companies

When you apply for the return labels via our Guarantee department return labels have no cost given that you have provided pictures or video of the problem with the product. We have looked into this case and see that no picture nor video was provided, therefore, we cannot void the returns costs until we receive the parcel and confirm the product's fault. Good afternoon, You have ordered a so-called Crossdock product. This means that you could buy the product cheaper than anywhere else because it comes directly from the supplier's warehouse. This results in a delivery time of 6 to 10 working days. This was indicated when the order was placed. Therefore, the order was shipped later. We see in the tracking that your product has been delivered in the meantime. Our apologies for the inconvenience. We hope it will be clearer in the future.

Scam

My equipment got to the local DPD delivery depot then on tracking just was marked as returning to Fishdeal. I have emailed but nobody has replied. Nothing was delivered and no delivery attempted. They have my money and I have no equipment

The majority of all orders are therefore delivered to the customer nicely within the specified time. This is also the reason why we state "1 to 3 working days" as the expected delivery date. You placed your order with us on 31-12-2023 and we shipped it to you the following day. So we have done everything possible to ship this order as soon as possible. OK - but delivery times are unreliable!

I've ordered two items from Fishdeal and neither orders went well. I first ordered two Umbrellas which were a very good price and a good quality, but instead of the 2 to 5 days delivery promised, it took two weeks to get to me. Fishdeal did say that it was down to the courier DPD who were having delivery problems so I gave Fishdeal the benefit of the doubt. My second order was for a Landing Net Pole. The stock level showed one in stock which I ordered immediately. Expecting it to be delivered again with 2 to 5 days I then received an e-mail 4 days after I ordered it saying that due to a stock error it was no longer in stock. Fishdeal offered a similar replacement Pole or a refund which I accepted which was deposited into my bank within 24 hours which was good. So, whilst I have been a bit unlucky with my orders, Fishdeal's prices seem to be very competitive and I would still consider buying from them again, but don't expect any order to be received within the 2 to 5 days as they promise!

Packaging, having purchased some 55kg of ground bait for my 2024 fishing campaign. this came in 3 separate boxes delivered in 2 separate consignments. Therefore the carrier had to deliver twice (false economy). a further issue was the second delivery had 2 of the bags of ground bait inside burst one was a 6.5kg bag and a 4kg bag. we estimate some 1.5 to 2,5 kg of ground bait was lost in transit. Furthermore, a flimsy cardboard box with a few sheets of crumbled-up paper dropped in does not support as packaging and the minimum usage of sellotape to close the boxes was absolutely pathetic.

Good value, goods delivered relatively quickly, I've had friends who ordered good rods and tackle, from a well known delivery company, that have had their deliverys ruined during transit on numerous occasions. I have ordered a few times from fishdeal now and have never had an issue with goods damaged during transit. Would definitely recommend and will be using again.

Poor packaging!

Goods were sent from abroad, so, not from the UK. The fishing rod arrived in a mangled box, and I was most concerned that the rod may have been damaged in the long transit - fortunately it was not. A sturdy tube would have been a far better package option, and I would be concerned about buying any delicate items from this company again.

A UK based website is a bit misleading as they are in fact in Holland. But that said the delivered on price. And communication with them wasn’t all bad. I will shop there again in the future. But will order well in advance of when I need/want my items.
