I have bought many, many items from Peter Hahn and enjoyed wearing them very much. Much of their stock is above my price range but careful searching through the Sale pages is often rewarding. It's been particularly good of late when an extra 30% was being deducted from the sale price. But now I learn that the firm is no longer to trade in GB and clothingI'm quite devastated by this

I would usually give five stars but recently I ordered 3 pairs of jeans. The website said that all were in stock. After some time waiting, I made a call and was told they were waiting for one pair. I hadn’t asked for them to be sent together so asked that the two in stock pairs be sent immediately. I waited another couple of weeks, nothing. I called again. They were still waiting for one pair but the two in stock had still not been sent. I cancelled the whole order. Something seems to be happening, we were unable to track the status of orders online. It will be a while before I order anything again

I ordered long boots online from Peter Hahn on the 6th of April 2023. After about 25 days I sent them a message inquiring about my order. They replied that they never received my order, and if I'd like I could order again from them. I used my debit card details online to order from Peter Hahn in the first place, and now I don't know where this order went and who got it, if it didn't reach Peter Hahn. I find that this is a very dangerous negligence, and I certainly don't want to order anything online from Peter Hahn again. I hope that someone could explain to me who received my order, and whether the details of my debit card are safe. This is a very worrying experience.

Occasionally online orders can fail to download from our website onto our database, but this is not usual practice here at PETER HAHN. Quality of goods is great BUT dispatch DREADFUL… twice I have ordered from here, and both times, there has been an unconscionable delay, which has been blamed both times on system upgrades, and I have never received the goods within the timeframe promised. It has also necessitated several phone calls to customer service to try and get the items that I have ordered. Nobody minds delays and problems if one is notified. My gripe is that nobody lets you know that the item is either out of stock or being delayed by up to 8 weeks. I wish I could give a better review, but I have been left very disappointed by this company indeed on several occasions .

The service has deteriorated considerably over the past few months. Communication is poor with no confirmation of order, problems with processing payments probably due to the excessive delay for deliveries. Orders often incomplete with items from one order being delivered over several weeks despite being in stock when ordered. This never used to be case, service used to be excellent. Come on Peter Hahn get yourself back on track, I won't be ordering anything I need quickly or for a special occasion because I can no longer rely on it appearing on time. The two stars are because of the high quality of the merchandise which is consistent.

Service does not match quality of garments

My experience is of lengthy delays with both delivery and (if needed) refunds. This, despite the fact, that emails arrive every day to encourage more purchases and regular deliveries of glossy brochures. When they are arrive the clothes are very beautiful and of excellent quality, but the prices are far from cheap. It is a pity that the company service does not match this. Staff have few or no answers when I telephone to find out what is going on and I feel very sorry for them. The “system change” the company has undertaken seems to have been the excuse for the poor service for an inordinately long time.

Apparently PH changed over their system and had major problems getting orders out - but not getting money out of my account! Wrote several times to ask where my order was - no reply. Rang a couple of times and each time got a different story as to when the items had been despatched. I love PH clothes and have never had a problem in the past other than delivery is very slow, but this time it was appalling. I appreciate something not working but at least get everyone singing from the same hymn sheet and don’t offer compensation that has a time limit and spend limit!

I ordered a ladies cardigan on April 20, 2023, and about a week later received an e-mail from Peter Hahn informing me that because of a problem with their suppliers the order would be delivered no later than June 26, 2023, some 2 months after the order was placed. As the cardigan was intended as a birthday present for my wife on May 2 the surprise has fallen a little bit flat to say the least. While I appreciate that Peter Hahn do not have any control over suppliers' problems, I do not think I will be ordering anything else from this company anytime soon.

PETER HAHN - not recommended as a trustworthy online retailer

I have been a loyal customer of PETER HAHN for years. I am now experiencing for the second time, the absence of a refund - this one for £486.95 - which is a considerable sum of money. In the past, I did not have to check because refunds were processed quickly and accurately. This has changed. I am having to check and when I complain, I find out there has been an error, but that is not corrected immediately. The explanation of a change of system after months no longer washes. I do not recommend PETER HAHN, despite their lovely clothes ...

Ordered on different occasions two pairs of sneakers one pair on 24 April and another pair 5 May. Both pairs were returned immediately and haven’t received refund for either pair. Very annoyed as this will incur interest on my credit card. Will certainly think twice before ordering anything from Peter Hahn again. Spoke to someone on the phone who said I would get my refund, but still no luck. I could have been to Germany and back in the time it is taking to get my refunds. Waiting For Refund Still

I returned an item which unfortunately was too big on the 30/06/23.It is now the 24/07/23 and I have still not received my refund after 4 phone call.Which is very bad service.Never had this trouble with other retailers,in fact just did a return to London and the second day a refund was issued.What is going on Peter Hahn.I have since ordered from the retailer in London the clothes are quality and gorgeous and they don’t hold on to your money.I think twice now before ordering from a Peter Hahn for this very reason.

Had to call and ask where my delivery was as it was 7 days beyond delivery date as on the order email. Was told that item was back dated to September. I had not received any communication about this change of delivery. Had a specific date/ event that I was hoping the dress would be appropriate for. Was very disappointed in such awful customer service. Cancelled order. Will definitely think hard before ordering with them again. Already know that they are slow to refund returned items from previous experience.

Incorrect Addressing

Inform customers when parcel is despatched and MOST importantly put the CORRECT address on . I know stuff is dispatched from Germany but no matter how I put in my address and I've tried several ways the area of Leicester where I live is missed off so therefor the parcel finishes up travelling the length and breadth of Leicester and Leicestershire . I am still waiting for an order from April 30th . So much so that after quite a while of ordering with Peter Hahn I don't rhink I shall order again.

Clothing and shoes fine but lengthy delivery time dreadful and when trying to sort things sorted by telephone one operator rude and put the phone down on me - not very good customer service. Also, complete confusion at your end resulted in an order being repeated and item being sent to me that I had not ordered this month but back in June (which I had to cancel because of waiting over three weeks and needing it for a holiday). Unfortunately, I no longer wish to order from Peter Hahn again.

Frustration!

I tried to order a matching skirt and top. After 6 weeks nothing was delivered. I was told the top was not obtainable but it arrived but not the skirt. I made constant phone calls to find out what was happening but was told different storied each time. I love the clothes but the hassle involved is not worth it. I realise that items come from Germany but 6 weeks and counting is not reasonable. I have a pair of shoes on order and have no idea whether or if when they will arrive.

In the past they have been good. This is only recently as have had no communication regarding my last order. I have phoned 3 times about it, and it has been nearly a full month since my order-,only to find yesterday that the order is still there and nothing has been processed. I realise there have been problems, but feel that it would have been helpful to hear from them at some point. They were very helpful when l phoned to enquire. Hoping things are resolved very soon.

I never did get my latest order. Kept being ‘told’ my credit card hadn’t been accepted despite phone calls and conversations. Still getting emails now saying the same thing. Shame really. Never did like the long time from order to receiving clothes but felt it worthwhile as the clothes are lovely. Not sure if I will use again unless their system gets sorted out and they can try to complete orders a bit quicker (I do appreciate the clothes come from Germany)

Delivery service extremely poor. After waiting for 3 weeks emailed their Customer Service to be informed that a delivery date could not be confirmed. I telephone again after another couple of weeks to be informed that the order could not be met as the item ordered was no longer in stock. Their communications need to be addressed both internally and to customers. Doubt that I will use this company again. Doubt that I will bother to use them again.

Although they say they are updating their website It’s bee weeks now Still can’t login to my account it comes up I don’t have an account with them after being a customer for years Goods take weeks to arrive although they are in stock If you phone up the advisor says they know nothing about anything except they are updating the system The goods are good quality especially when the sales are on which is why i still shop with them

I placed an order on May 2nd, and subsequently three others - the latest being last week, but have received nothing - although I understand that payment for at least one of the orders has been taken from my account. I have written several e mails of complaint requesting a delivery date, only to be told that Peter Hahn are "re-organising". Whatever happened to the mythical german efficiency !! Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

no confirmation of returned goods & takes weeks to refund the money for returned goods - no communication - customer has to keep chasing them for the refunds...take ages to answer the phone and when they do - they tell you cant help - ring back in a weeks time. REFUND PROCEEDURE NEEDS IMPROVEING - MORE COMMUNICATION IS NEEDED REGARDING RECEIPT OF THE GOODS AND WHEN THE REFUND HAS BEEN INSTIGATED - HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE TIME - NOT A ONE OFF

∂elivery of an item from stock is now at the 3 week stage and still no sign of when it might be delivered.Your customer service person had no idea of what the term customer service meant.She finally told me she was not actually a customer service advisor and all the customer service staff had gone home.After various meaningless platitudes she then told me not to raise my voice .Goodbye to Peter Hahn they won't be getting our money again.
