Prompt delivery, better than the quoted time.

Very prompt delivery.

Dehumidifier left to sit for 8 hours. Switched on and horrendous noise. Measured it at 71db. Hopefully it is a faulty unit and Meaco will replace. Called them the next day to inform of issue. Still waiting for a call back from Their technical dept. It’s obviously faulty and should be replaced immediately. If I don’t hear soon I will lodge dispute with PayPal. Otherwise it’s a promising item if it works as others say.

I ordered last Wednesday with next day delivery! Still a week later not heard a thing

The product is good and I have no problem with that and look forward to using it.. The delivery was muddled. I booked a next day delivery and the email said that it had been sent with a DPD link to track its progress. The link showed that it had not been received. I rang Meaco and spoke to an advisor who said that I had booked it after 3pm (I had in fact booked it before 3pm) and said it would arrive on Monday. It did arrive that evening much to my surprise, so I was delighted, but somewhat mystified!

Quick delivery from Meaco.com. The fan itself is really good, really does shift the air around the room creating a lovely gentle breeze making everyone feel cooler. Very energy efficient DC motor in fan, almost imperceptible energy usage measured on the smart meter after one day. Very quiet operation, just sounds like a strong breeze on higher speeds or eco mode, however my fan has developed a slight rattle/vibration noise when oscillating after one day's use, mildly annoying that sounds like my old conventional fan. Not sure if this is a fault or normal, maybe I'm just being fussy. The remote control for the fan is reasonably well made, but very poor in operation, very limited range, when the fan is oscillating the base (containing the infrared receiver) turns side to side so you have to wait for it to face you before operating the remote and even then it's a bit hit and miss. Quicker to get up and use the control panel on the fan, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a remote , a better quality infrared transmitter and receiver/or receiver location could have been used like the ones used in decent quality TVs etc, instead it's very similar to the remote for my £5 fairy lights, disappointing remote at this price point . I like that the remote can be stowed on the front of the fan, just wish it was actually useable. If you're after a fan that genuinely makes the room feel cooler, is very quiet and costs very little to run thanks to the much more efficient DC motor, then this is it, however if you intend to use the remote regularly or need to operate the fan remotely because of limited mobility etc, I would look elsewhere. Hopefully the remote issues will be fixed in future versions, as this is the fans only real letdown. The pedestal version of this fan has a few extra modes available, it would be nice to see those modes on this version, especially if like me you didn't realise those modes weren't included on this one, not a deal breaker, just confusing. Product was great and exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. The only issue that I had was the correspondence from Meaco regarding delivery and the actual delivery itself. I ordered the product with next day delivery. I then received an email from Meaco saying that the product was out of stock and would be sent within 10 working days! I wasn't best pleased about that but there was no option to get my money back or query anything, the email just said thanks for your patience! I then received another email saying that email was sent in error but DPD had not collected my parcel so it would be delivered on the Saturday (it was being delivered to a work address and we do not open Saturday's!) I tried to change the collection with DPD but was unable to so ended up having to go to work on my day off to wait for a parcel to be delivered!

Very good and simple to use. The only thing that is a slight negative for me is the fact that it goes into 1 fan mode when the humidity is 15 higher than your set target and so it takes longer to get to your target. I know this is good for energy saving however so there's two ways to look at it. I also wish you could set it to continue into smart dehumidifier mode once it completed laundry mode. Just more flexibility would be cool (but this could create too many options for others and remove the simplicity of the device). Overall the device looks nice and is doing the job that I need it too, nothing complicated about it and I have no regrets. The manual also makes everything clear.

Meaco arete one 25l dehumidifier: The fan itself isn’t too noisy although the compressor seems to make much more noise, even when set to night mode. I appreciate a compressor will make noise but this is an annoying noise. Whether it’s placed on a level carpet or tiled floor, the vibrations through the house is considerably louder than I ever could have expected. Aside from that, it works really well to remove moisture from the house and the laundry function is super helpful! What previously was 3-5 days drying around the house, I can now dry the washing within 6 hours. Not tried towels or bedding yet but I’m sure it will be better than before.

We love our Meaco dehumidifer/air purifier. For awhile we weren't able to get filters from anywhere, which made me a bit skeptical that we should have purchased a dehumidifier only. Now that filters have restocked and are available again, we are very happy with the difference having a Meaco unit in our house to keep the moisture balanced and musty smells to a minimum. Your website is easy to use, shipping is fast. There is nothing you could improve. I think the filter dilemma is probably related to the current supply issue with all things. Very happy customer!

The Zambezi dehumidifier is brilliant at removing moisture from the air, it works very efficiently. This is the third Meaco I have had - I live in an old, dusty cottage with a woodburner as our only source of heat so our previous dehumidifiers died due to dust. I have just bought a replacement and tried to contact Meaco to get the old one cleaned and serviced. Meaco is let down a bit by their slow customer service, both by email and by phone. I even tried their webchat but it just didn't load. The product is great, the customer service is a little lacking.

Product itself excellent, easy to use, currently emptying water every morning and evening, shocked at how much moisture is coming out of the air, house feels warmer as air not damp, also house seems to heat up quicker and keep heat longer. Laundry mode fantastic. Would definitely recommend product. On line ordering delivery date not accurate. It suggests that it can be delivered day or so earlier than the actual date delivered. Fortunately didn’t create me a problem, would have been irritated if arranged someone to be in and it not delivered.

I live in old style house with no radiator at the front of the window instead is was filled on inside other wall. More heating i will turn on more condensation i will get on the window side of the wall i have tried different methods for a many years but all of them have cost me lots of money.This dehumidifier have saved my money and time with minimum of cost and great result. Now i have dry walls without any mould plus always fresh and clean air in my house.

I like the product although it is early days it seems to work well. The site led me to believe though that if I ordered by 3pm on a weekday the item would arrive the next day. I therefore assumed that ordering at the weekend (so definitely before 3pm on Monday) would mean it came on Tuesday. In fact it wasn't shipped until Tuesday and arrived on Wednesday.

Quick delivery from Meaco, very impressed. Good little fan, nice and quiet as advertised and works really well in my toddlers bedrooms to keep them cool but not awake! I initially thought I should have gone for the next size up considering the price difference however, after a week's use, am content with my purchase and hope they will last a long time.

Ordering and delivery were fine, in fact dpd were brilliant, lifting it into the kitchen for me After only a week of intermittent use it’s hard to comment on the product. It seems efficient and easy to empty. Observations so far… it’s not easy to move around, it’s heavy, would benefit from a better handle and certainly needs wheels.

The product looks good and although I didn't buy this for the heating but it seems like there is a slight flaw in the design is hosepipe needs to be attached and a bucket to collect water before using this option is not of good design. Hopefully I have read the instructions wrong
