I ordered the test for my blue staffy who has some allergies and skin issues. I was sceptical at first. However I had speedy test results. I sent my sample off on the Monday (1st class signed for) and I received the results by Friday afternoon. The online chat team were very quick to answer any questions. Also I like to think the test results are quiet reliable as I know she has issues with beef and turkey and they both came back as 100% reactive. This has made me feel more at ease with the results and the only food I was giving her with a 100% reaction was yoghurt. I feel that this test has helped me narrow down and able to eliminate more foods I hadn't even considered. The only downfall was , the app I downloaded would not work. However it turns out I didn't need the app, and the tracking system on your main page wasn't kept up to date. when I contacted your chat team informed me the exact date and time the sample had been received.

Submitted my puppy’s fur for testing. Result came back indicating reaction to all the items he was currently eating plus many items he has never had contact with. Whilst I appreciate that the test shows any reactive items, the 12 pages of the report were full of caveats disclaiming the test and finished with a statement that the test process had not been scientifically proved. I was left feeling that I had paid for a test, at a time when I had serious concerns about my new pet’s health, and it was only once I had paid for the test and received the results did I learn that it was not based on any proven science. The report was of no help to me whatsoever and I feel cheated. The whole process meant that here was a delay of nearly two weeks in then going to the vet and starting again. In the meantime, my puppy was crying with the irritation and itching he was suffering.

A very disappointing experience
The test report for my dog showed allergens that turned out to be inaccurate when we put her on a hypoallergenic diet afterwards. The report also seemed partly written for humans and not for dogs. Communication by customer services was poor as they did not keep me updated on progress.

We started eliminating the foods that the test indicated could be triggers a couple of weeks ago, and have seen significant improvement.
Before elimination, our six month old puppy had been suffering from constant itchy skin, that cause her to scratch herself excessively, leaving her with nonstop sties around her left eye, a pink spot starting to develop on her leg from all the biting, and uneven fur on her head due to scratching as well as nonstop reflux issues.
Since the diet change and introduction of a food rich in the vitamins the test results indicated were lacking, the sties have disappeared, the constant scratching and burping up stuff that left her swallowing over and over and over again have significantly decreased, and the pink spot on her leg is looking a lot better with her fur not being thinned out due to all the biting.
Another thing that has also improved, is her smelly ears. I’m unsure if that is due to the regular cleaning we do now, or if it is due to the diet change, but she smells a lot better now.
Considering we were skeptics but thought for that price it’s worth a try before we spend the big bucks at the vets, this has been a great experience, and worth every penny spent!
Quick results, great responsiveness when we’ve had questions, and it’s worked for us!
Would highly recommend!
