Ordered crash bars for my Tiger 900, communications were prompt and tracking of order was initially provided. However it got stuck at the German customs as incorrect paperwork was filed. Once I notified Motea they ordered a replacement which reached me within a week of me alerting them of the issue. Plus side they reacted quickly and replacement reached me within a week. Down side I had to notified them that the goods were not moving from customs. However the bars are of good quality and fit perfectly on my bike without having to relocate the fog lights. At a fraction of the cost of the manufacture ones. 5 star for quality and communication but 4 for speed of delivery as it took 22 days from order placed to receipt of goods
I had a stand with an adapter for a Triumph Tiger Sport 1050 and I was very happy with it.
That's why I ordered a stand with an adapter plate for a Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro.
But this stand doesn't work at all and is a faulty design.
The base stand is OK, but the adapter plate and the way in which the motorcycle is supposed to be held by the adapter plate is completely unusable and even dangerous.
The suspension travel of the Tiger Rally is more than 200mm, so long that the stroke range is not enough to completely lift the motorcycle.
If you then want to maneuver the entire load you have to raise the front wheel.
This causes the adapter to slip off the frame of the motorcycle and the motorcycle falls on its right side.
I experienced this myself and was just able to keep the machine from tipping over.
Afterwards, the powder-coated frame of the machine was scratched and the socket on the adapter plate was bent on the thread.
This can no longer be used because the material has already been torn.
The whole thing is absolutely useless.
And I know what I'm talking about, I'm a toolmaker myself, a person with more than 40 years of practical experience in steel construction and in working with tools.
Stay away from that part, at least as far as the Tiger Rally Pro is concerned
The item I received was of great quality and I have no issues with this.
On the other hand, I had to pay UPS, the on the doorstep delivery charge was £47, this was nearly 50% of the actual item I had ordered.
I feel that MOTEA have a duty to Inform customers of delivery charges before purchasing items and have failed to provide customer service and so my customer experience was not the best.
Therefore, unfortunately, I will not be ordering anything with this company in the future.

I cannot fault the process to purchase my item and the receipt of my item.
However I had a question about my item and rang the customer service UK telephone number and was not happy with the service or response. The person who took my call had no interest in helping me. They just gave matter of fact answers and suggested I send the item back if unhappy.

The fitting kit had no meaningful instructions either in the packaging or online. It therefore took 2 hours to definitely conclude that there was no way it could be made to fit. The returns procedure was confusing and time consuming. Customer services confined themselves to referring to the website and offered no assistance.

Goods received and worked for two operations before they stopped working. Luckily I was able to disassemble and reassemble the hydraulic ram and get the unit working.
Make it clear to buyers in the UK that theirs import duty to pay on top of price of product and delivery charge 🤬

Really poor Communications
Ordered 4 items on 5th May 23 with one item not due until 30th May, so correctly all items set to that delivery date. Items needed for a trip abroad on 22nd June, so plenty of time to allow install. Nothing arrived and no details. Started to chase 8th June through the online message hub. After 6 contacts and emails eventually got a reply with no confirmed delivery date. Chased and chased for a delivery date, no answer. Eventually threatened to cancel order and they did partial shipments.
Somehow - without any comms at all - all parts arrived in same package on the morning of the 22nd June - too late to install anything or use the tail bag ordered for the trip.
I had no choice but to reorder items for the trip from another supplier meaning i doubled my osts.
No apologies or explanation given.
2 stars as the quality of the products is good.

nothing i ordered fit my motorcycle, eventhough i entered brand, year and model.
package was devide in two separat package... first part disnt fit my bike second package never arrived because company locked to put my email or phonenumber so I never got any information about the package. moreso it took more than a month from order to delivery... uacceptable.
got my money back if I was to say anything good.
difficult to reach the company as the phonenumber was difficult to find... and 1 of the 2 didnt even work.

Keep the customer informed, of what is actually happening to their goods. On checking, my parcel apparently arrived in the uk after about a week then was sent back to various places in Germany over the next month, with no notice or explanation from motes. The delivery company contact was a recorded message in German!! Eventually I found a uk no, who checked and found out that the customs paperwork had failed in the uk & it had been to Germany. She was excellent & gave me the option of a refund, which I took.

Sucks when they lower the price and has a 3-for-2 discount a day after buying and then there is nothing to do, other than return the item and buy again. I would have added more to the order, but they wouldn’t do anything, since the item had been shipped already. That ain’t being “green” and responsible. They could have just made a special order and let me buy the items i wanted to add and let me have the discount.

Definir mejor los artículos, mejorar las fotografías, no tener un artículo repetido 200 veces, facilitar la manera de encontrar el mejor artículo y el más adecuado en tu elección, mejorar el servicio técnico, mejorar el servicio post venta, habilitar un servicio de consultas… por decir alguna de las cosas mejorables…
Aún así, precio competitivo y buena calidad q es lo importante.

I don’t think the item ever left Germany; poor website communication (links not working, no active UK telephone number). I did not receive the item, it was returned to sender after circulating Germany, (see 94% feedback on eBay and Trust-pilot comments, I did get a refund after contacting an email I found on trust-pilot. I don’t know if I can trust another order with Motea

Universal panniers that cannot be fitted to Givi rack!
The universal panniers I ordered arrived on time, unfortunately there is no way that they were going to fit on my Givi pannier racks. I tried to return them but the replies I got were in German and even with the help of Google translate I was unable to comprehend what they were saying, so I gave up. I will be more cautious next time.
